    The headlight cowl is part of the higher cost version it does NOT come as standard on the standard model.

    I am always impressed about how frugal that engine is, it consumes the same as mi ex G310R, but being but more powerful and les viby.

    Good review. Good looking bike in black and lots of accessories. Fuel mileage a big plus.

    I wasn’t a fan of the raised tank/Handlebar looks.. But somehow I’ve begun to appreciate it after watching this video.
    Thankfully this isn’t available in India, so I didn’t have any dilemma in choosing Kawasaki Vulcan S !!

    The gauge cluster in the Rebel always seems like an afterthought in design.
    Dual gauges similar to the Z900rs and older CB naked bikes would have made the gauges a knock out of the park.

    9:49 only by the clutch?!? What about rear shocks?
    Those absorbers are stiffest ever since you haven't mentioned positions/levels you can choose....

    The rear suspension is preload adjustable!

    Excellent go over. How about a demo of the exhaust sound?

  • @fannysac

    It makes you lean forward not sit up straight like on a real cruiser. Murder on the back after a while. Feels like a cruiser/crotch rocket hybrid. Hate the exhaust.

    • @ptrisonic
      @ptrisonic 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Really? I've always found that an off vertical back is better for me Road shocks go straight up my spine when I'm not leaning, just a degree or three will suffice.

    How tall are you, I’m 5’10 or 179cm and I’m afraid I’m too big for that bike

    • @chriscoplans916
      @chriscoplans916 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @bodin You can get forward foot controls, should be fine at 179cm.

      @SkepticRaider 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m 185cm, I have sat on the bike, it felt amazing! I also saw videos and pictures of me on the bike and it looked just perfect for my size. And yes, you can get forward foot controls, a taller handlebar, etc. People exagerate too much about this bike being cramped. If you are above my height it will start to feel small, and so would any other normal bike.

    VED is £67 per year. Bike featured us the Special Edition model with headlight cowl and other aesthetic changes but price is £6199, rather than £5799. Also to note, the mpg figure will be as accurate and inaccurate as the speedo, which in my experience could be 10% optimistic, so the 70mpg quickly becomes 63mpg. Still good, but not truly great for a mid size A2 bike. Honda quote 26 miles per litre =73.4mpg, so expect somewhat less as you won't be riding in these ideallic simulated conditions. Many other's are an equal in this respect. Honda quote kerb weight as 190kg, this won't include 11+ litres of fuel, so expect just over 200kg leaving the petrol station. New bikes often come with poor OE tyres as a cost cutting exercise, which a couple of hundred quid will often sort if you can't put up with them. Note the Rebel has 16" wheels with cruiser sized tyres, so replacements may have to be cruiser tyres. If you are an all-year commuter, you may prefer another CB500 derivative with a wider choice of tyre better suited to tricky conditions. Always good to know devils in details, in case it breaks the deal for you.

    The headlight sucks compared to older models with a decent headlight switched out with an LED.
    Takes you about 5 minutes to do the whole job.
    The light is to narrow so it wont light up enough on the left/right side...ITS REALLY BAD....
    The suspension sucks ass..i know..
    IS THIS GUY PAID BY HONDA????
