Contingency agreements and roof scams

Contingency agreements are not legal documents. Those of you who have signed these agreements, may rip them up and throw them in the trash with no recourse against you. Let me say this again, contingency agreements may be canceled at any time for any reason because they are not legal documents in the state of Texas. As a homeowner, you do not owe anyone anything and less actual work took place at your home. Do not feel bullied or guilted into believing you have to continue forward with a contractor that you are no longer comfortable. It is your insurance money. It is your home. Choose your contractors wisely. Get something for your money.
