@@TRIVANDRUMBASEDKERALITE dear brother, while you decarbonize the piston crown, head squish and the exhaust port, please make sure to clean it by completely removing the top end. Why? Even a small piece of hard carbon entering the bottom end can dissolve and gunk on tbe bigend bearing causing a failure. Moreover the most important places to decarbon if you are having a stock setup is the tranfer ports and the piston ring groves. The blade that you used is a strict no!!! Use a wax knife used by dentists or a plastic scraper. Personally I use them and a fine grit sandpaper with petrol to clean it off. You can polish your exhaust port but not the intake , transfers for better automization.
First of all if you open up top end up to cylinder,,then that is called top end rebuild... Not carbonisation. And every 5000km decarbonizing is good. We can't open top end fully on every decarbonizing time. Don't use petrol while decarbonizing because if petrol along with carbon will leak to piston rings gap then it ill be hell for the cylinder cross hatching and compression. It is a 13minute small video i can't explain all the things, there.And deep explaining willnot entertain my viewers..they will get bored. So simple for a common rider... That's policy....
