Not sure if it would make a difference but I have found if you take the weight off your rear stabilisers or fold them up it is a lot easier to lift your draw bar and the jockey wheel won’t sink so it will lift higher easier

That makes sense mate!! The weight at the back of the van will lift the front end up, is that what you mean?

That’s part of it, it also makes it pivot from the wheels not the rear supports

One tip. When you finish using the inverter, turn it off. It will continue to drain you battery even if you're not using it. Also when your set up disconnect the charging Anderson plug from your car as the van can draw energy from your vehicle battery and drain it flat.

Thank you mate, the auto elec did tell me that when I took the van in, I thought if nothing was plugged in it wouldn’t draw power

Hey mate, camping off-grid can be challenging thats for sure. A couple of things I noticed: your rear stabiliser legs should be folded inwards towards the middle of the van and not outwards which I have noticed you have done in a couple of your videos now. Also, consider getting yourself a Black Jack Trailer Jack to replace the jockey wheel. They make levelling front-to-back so much easier and you wont have any issues with getting the right height to get back on your tow hitch either. Safe travels guys.

Hey mate, your not wrong there mate it has been so challenging especially when I'm still learning!!
Thank you so much for the tips mate, I really appreciate it, I put the stabilisers back like that just incase they fall when driving and don't bounce the back of the caravan up, do you reckon that's possible or am I just being paranoid? those black jacks look grouse just watched a video on it.

@@cruisinclueless the stabliser legs should be stowed pointing inwards so as they don't extend beyond the back of the van. They are perfectly safe to stow pointing inwards. Another tip I was given (I have only had my van for just over 12 months now too, so am still learning as well), is that you put the stabliser legs out at an angle and not straight up and down. Being out an an angle will give the van better stablised support as the van can't move at all against the angle of the legs. The van can still move (wobble) if the legs are only straight up and down though. Enjoy the travels mate.
