Can u tell me how is Cairns? I am from Scandinavia but love to live in this tropical paradise ❤❤

@trinitymatrix9719 G'day. Cairns is the best place in the world 😍 Average temp 26 deg Celsius year round (that's the Winter average 🥰). More rain in the wet season which runs from Oct to April, bringing potential cyclones, hot, hot weather with high humidity and more rain, but always hot and tropical. As for location, Cairns has everything on its doorstep. A short walk from most places to the Reef Terminal which is where all of the Barrier Reef and Island tours depart and arrive back from. Great tours with snorkelling the reef or scuba, helicopter flights over the reef, or just swim with the turtles and marine life from Green or Fitzroy Islands. Fantastic. I just went back for my third trip in a few months and broke my fibula and detached my ankle on Fitzroy Island slipping on the coral beach... second day of my holiday 😧 Managed to hire a wheelchair and get around the Aquarium, Night Markets, Lagoon and even Hartley's Crocodile Adventures 😉😊 Hence to stay I had surgery a week or so ago and am now in plaster and wheelchair for six weeks lol. The people up in Cairns were amazing, real true blue fair dinkum Aussies 😘 I'm from Melbourne but stayed at Rydges Esplanade Resort (I did a video of it on my piano channel... I know a bit strange to play my piano interpretations and then put a resort video about the pool, but you can see it on my channel if you want to take a look) 😀 (Also, check out my piano, I just did Aha...if you are Norwegian haha) you might like my channel too 😉. Cairns is also located beautifully to head to some of the Northern Beaches... Ellis, Trinity, Palm Cove or a bit further to Port Douglas. If you stay at Port Douglas, you will have very early mornings to arrive at some of the Cairns Islands and reef tours, so better to stay in Cairns if you want to be closer to your home away from home 😃 Port Douglas is beautiful, more expensive all round, but worth a visit for sure. I hope this helps, obviously the Waterfall Circuit has much to see and do if you take in Lake Eacham and Lake Barrine, Yarrabunga or the Cathedral Fig. I'd put two days aside to see it all at a good pace so you can enjoy it all. I hope you come Down Under. Best times June, July, Oct, Nov. All the best.. start saving those pennies for your trip of ten lifetimes ❤️

Great advice bud , his fishing will get better from guys like you in the know and your help to him is fantastic , pitty some fishoes are arsholes when it comes to helping others , his fishing techniques like casting positions being way to high up on the rocks in undesirable places to land his fish etc he will figure out after losing tackle enough times , it happens to all of us , rocks will always beat plastic as they say.

Hey mate, I wanted to fish at wageo, a few people mentioned it to me shattered I didn’t get the chance! It was decent mate my eyes lit up when I seen it!

Oh mate the flies are terrible they have been pretty bad just past Geraldton all the up to coral bay, I don’t think I would have handled it without the net haha. Other then the flies Kalbarri national park was absolutely beautiful! I can’t explain to you how good it felt to finally bring a fish home mate. Thanks for the comment Seb!

Thanks for that tip mate, this stuff all new to me and any advise I get I take on board. Should I have the diff locks on when trying to get up a dune? It is an absolute gem of a spot mate it’s up there with my favourite spot

Hi yes diff locks on if needed…you also state 20 psi would be ok..for me 16 is ideal for sand up there..re the fishing if you go to just south of the lagoon there is an opening in the reef to the open sea..this is where you need to fish…I have caught plenty at that spot..I have been going up there for over 30 years! And will be there in a few weeks time with my van😀

@@bradtottman1425 maybe that’s why I couldn’t make it up cause I didn’t have my diff lockers on! Is the reef your talking about the one at the end of the video with the drone footage? Oh spewin mate I’ll most likely be gone by then, could have gone for a fish!!

Hey mate, I did have one side of the awning down abit more then the other but must not of had it down enough. I could not believe how much water it held! Next time I put it out I’m going to drop it down a lot more. And yeah that’s a good point I have the tie downs but never think I’ll need them until a gust of wind comes haha I do screw it down but your right it doesn’t take much for them! Hey Philip! Thanks heaps for that tip, I’m shocking at doing it, the pilly already looks like it’s been eaten by the time I get the hooks in it 😂. I thought it could have been a stingray but I was using like a pelagic lure, but I do think it could have been a shark or melloway! Thanks heaps for your comment mate I really appreciate it!

Ohh Sep I would have loved to see what it was! But like you said that’s all part of the game. If our dogs were a little more obedient it would of been a lot easier and we would of kept them with us, but they just did not listen out here which scared me cause anything can happen out here. It makes sense now about the trees being painted blue! I’ve always wondered what it ment! It’s so good that people are trying to push the message of mental health in all sorts of ways. Thanks heaps mate! Hahahaha in this case I was the bog king! Yeah nah I definitely won’t be putting them on 80psi again. Yeah I think that’s exactly what it was the wiring was a bit thin. Since taking it back to the original wire it hasn’t given me grief. Touch wood 🪵

@@cruisinclueless yeah I go about 4times a year for work but I never get time to enjoy the beaches so planning a week bay hopping exploring the coastline all the way to Albany. So pumped.

Thanks for the reply 👍 Wish I could send you some fishing rigs to catch salmon on as i tie them myself and have great success on the salmon landed a 3 kilo one from the rocks Was a massive fight to land it the trick with surf fishing is always tie up your bait with bait mate you can buy from any tackle shop and try to tie a surf poper on the top hook they work well Good luck want to see footage of you catching salmon cheers Phil

Do you mean the tow bar itself mate? I think it would be a good idea to get one of those tow hitch with the shackle on it

@@cruisincluelessyes around the pin that normally locks the tow hitch in. That pin is rated to hold the weight of a pulled caravan. A tow recovery hitch will use this also and a little easier to attach the strap too. People have had towball a ripped off and shot through windscreen so avoid towball!

Mate I couldn’t believe how hot it gets, I was stressing to the point I made my mrs stand there to make sure the thing doesn’t go up in flames 😂. And for the tow hitch, just so I understand, does the hitch sleeve go straight through, i thought it would been capped of by the tow bar, if that makes sense. What about strapping around the tow bar itself? Thanks heaps mate!!

@@cruisinclueless Hey Mate.. nah you don't need to do that. Just need to line the eye of the strap up with the hitch pin holes. Then feed the pin through the pin holes and eye of the strap. Now I've only done this a several times to help a couple of bogged rigs snatch out who had no recovery gear. I wouldn't recommend you do this all the time. The pins are very strong but you don't want to keep snatching out all the time as the pin will eventually weaken, bend or worse. It's not really their purpose. Get some recovery gear for your next trip Mate. Go well!

Yeah I put them down to around 18psi, I was worried to go lower but apparently you can go to around 12

Hey mate. Yeah I won’t be putting them to 80psi again it was a rough drive, you feel everything. Is 36psi good pressure to tow a van mate? Yeah I compared the wire that melted to the original wire and it was a lot thicker and even the original wire was getting got. Thanks heaps for the comment mate!

@@cruisinclueless Hi again I would like to run 40 ish in the rear and 36 up front towing..measured cold for bitumen and drop down to 25 front 30 rear on gravel or off road tracks..that’s what I do with my tandem axel van..Also make sure you go to Lucky Bay on the west coast near Geraldton ..another great spot..as there are many others along the coast and inland via the wheatbelt roads..Have fun!
