Looks SO yummy! Almost can smell its' delicious Aroma in CT!
When I make a pineapple upside down cake I use crushed pineapple. Drain it. Reserve the juice. I also use a pineapple flavored cake by Duncan Hines. Make the cake as directed in the box but substitute the drained pineapple juice for the water. Use a 9x13 pan, melt about 1/2 stick of butter in the pan. Add light brown sugar, about 1/3 cup. Melt sugar in the butter. Add cherries that are cut in half or whole if you prefer. Add drained pineapple, then top with cake batter. Bake as directed on the cake mix box. This is a very moist and delicious cake. Enjoy!!
I use crushed pineapple too, but no cherries….it’s so yummy.
The problem with the 9,x13 pan is you can't get the pretty bottom of it with rings of pineapple.
@@bowermancrystalmail That’s true but you have a more even distribution of the pineapple which to me is the best part.
Why cant you flip the 9x13 on a cookie sheet? The best pineapple upside down I've ever eaten was a a rectangle shape on a cookie sheet.
@@leahwhiteley5164 ; you do flip it out if the 13x9x2 pan. It turns gorgeous!!
well, I guess we could use cream cheese in all three bar cakes like you did in the first one with pineapple and coconut. lol I'm soo excited now.

Collard Valley Cooks, This is awesome! I subscribed because I want to see more!
Hi Tammy & Chris! Who doesn't love desserts made with pineapple!!? We've enjoyed using your Apple Skillet Cake recipe and swapping out fruits. We've used White Lily Pound Cske mix for the cake when we've been running short on time. We've used peaches and apricots in addition to using pineapple in place of the apples. We usually have two 12-inch cast iron skillets to make this recipe. There are never any leftovers with my crew! The two pies you made....oh my! My crew goes thru a pie like they were eating popcorn! Pies disappear in the blink of an eye! They like to place cake slices on the grill to warm the cake and just long enough to get some grill marks; same thing with any slices of fruit being served wi5h the pound cake. With warm weather arriving, they're looking forward to pound cake with grilled fruit and a couple scoops of vanilla ice cream! Thanks for another video, y'all! 🌞
ㅋㅋㅋ
For the pineapple cream pie I would use the pineapple juice instead of the water personally to give the filling more pineapple flavor 😋
Beautiful presentation.
Great videos Tammy. Thanks!
Dear Tammy and Chris,
That is the most beautiful Merange Pie I have ever seen. It looks delicious so I want to try a Banana Cream Pie with your recipe. You bake like a professional. I've wanted to tell you both that your new kitchen is amazing. You make baking look easy. One of my 4 younger sisters is a baker. I love to cook. My husband picks, freezes or cans our, Rainer and Bing cherry trees, 2 peach trees, a cling, and a Freestone, plus plants 4 different types of tomato plants, garlic, onions, sugar snap peas, etc. Now if I could talk him into having chicken for the eggs, I'd be thrilled. I'll be 70 next month and he'll be 94 in June. He's more active than men in their 70's. We fish, and travel in our motorhome towing our boat to Idaho every summer for a family reunion.
I save many of your recipes to try later. God bless you and your family.
I love you all in Christ. Hugs from northern California.
Wow that sounds wonderful!
Hey, Tammy-my late mother in law was a professional baker, and her secret for meringue (and whipped cream) was powdered sugar instead of granulated sugar. Works like a dream
They put a small amount of cornstarch in the powdered sugar at the factory to keep it from clumping.
Looking so good. ❤😊
P.S. I forgot to add that it's so nice to be able to watch those cakes and stuff cook up in your oven with that sweet sounding music playing. 😊❤
They all look delicious!! I especially like pineapple.
Whoooooo Excelent yessssssss
Hey from NC. Certainly enjoyed watching the pineapple videos. Looks so nice and yummy. Thanks for sharing! 🙂❤️❤️ Great job!
Omgoodness, that pineapple pie looks gorgeous!! 😊😊
Oh my goodness! Love pineapple and so happy to see all these recipes. Also appreciate the posted recipe links. Have a blessed day.
This would be a good time to have smell-a-vision.
I like rum flavoring in my upside down cake, try. It you'll like it 😊
❤❤❤❤ my goodness, EVERY SINGLE one of those desserts look AMAZING!!
I am going to make EVERY one of them!!
I am single and I will probably end up weighing a ton! 🤣
I might need to share! lol
I like pinneapple flavor in the cake to, if you cut the pinneapple im half and lay them around like a circle you would get more on top when turned over
Tammy, I’m going to try all of these and be as big as a house. They all look so delicious
Hope you enjoy
Looks so good❤❤
You two are sweet and fun and i just love you cooking , yum yum wish i could try some.😊😊
I love to cook but I had a spinal cord injury (cervical) and had a lot of nerve damage. My hands are going numb real bad so I have to stop cooking and let my hands get back to normal. I miss being able to whoop up my recipe in no time. I have always had problems with patients.
That’s the prettiest pineapple upside down cake I’ve ever seen. Looks delicious too. Love ya!❤❤
Thank you 😋
All the cakes look delicious. Be Blessed.
Thank you for explaining everything
They all look so delicious! I am definitely a pineapple fan and definitely going to be making these. Thank you for sharing! Have a beautiful blessed night. 🙏
Hello thank y'all for the videos and recipes love y'all. I have friends that live on signal mountain. I don't know if that is near you or not. God bless y'all 🙏❤️
My Mom had a recipe for coconut pound cake,it was delicious. If we were going to a family reunion she had to bake two of those cakes, one for the reunion and one for my uncle and he was not going to share it. I’ve made it a couple of times, but more work than I want to put in to make a cake. 😂
You are such a beautiful lady.
She’s beautiful inside and out!!
She definitely is. I would love to meet her and Chris.
Your desserts turned out beautifully!!! That pineapple skillet cake--gorgeous and I bet that was delicious 😋 Saving all these recipes and anxious to try your pound cake recipe because it's different from any I've ever made. This was a fun way to spend an hour at the end of my busy Friday❤😊❤
❤❤looks so delicious
I always double the butter n brown sugar at bottom of my skillet 😀
Thank you so much 😊 I was just going to ask about the mixer 😊
Thabks Tammy. Another winner and I will adding these recipes to my recipe book. They all look so good. Easy peasy. I love blueberries, but the strawberry and pineapple barcakes look delicious too.. especially with cream cheese. I like that you didn't add any extra sugar to the filling and toppings 😊
😊😊i love love your channel
Yum. 🌻💖🌺
Love all things pineapple. I have pineapple & cottage cheese at night. Growing up we ate pineapple/cream cheese sandwiches.
Kathie says.. I never spray the skillet when I make pineapple upside down cake. The butter that is in the topping coats the sides as the cake bakes and rises. The recipe that I use is over 100 years old and is just the best tasting cake! I also put pecans all over on top of the pineapple and cherries. I only make this cake for special occasions because my husband and I will slice off a bite size piece of it just about every time we walk past it ! Between the two of us, the cake will be gone in two days! That’s just not good, and since I won’t substitute anything in the recipe, I only make it about 4 times a year. It is a “YAAAAAAAAAAAAY CAKE” for sure!!
I wish you would start putting the recipes at the bottom like you did when you first started. Thanks.
Hello Tammy And Chris . Delicious and beautiful cakes . Thanks for sharing the recipes . Great to serve any time . But would make a great hit . For the 4th of July Holiday . Have a wonderful weekend . 😊🌹 😊🌹😊🌹😊🌹

Thank you for the all these pineapple recipes bc I absolutely love anything pineapple. Also thanks for all the tips that make our recipes perfect. That pineapple pound cake turned out so pretty! You definitely make the prettiest cakes I’ve ever seen!
Oh my goodness, all those desserts look sensational 😍😋 that pineapple upside down cake came out a treat even enough you forgot to spray the pan, but I was thinking it wouldn’t be a problem anyway.
Thank you so much 🤗
I was just thinking, what do you do if you get yolk in your egg whites after you already separated a few, and then it happened to you. Did you have to start over?
Yes

I'm definitely going to try the cheese cake. I love pineapple desserts. Love monk fruit. Oh my goodness looks delicious just like a pineapple upside down cake should look like. My mom did her meringue like you said your mom did. Pineapple pound cake might be my new favorite
For the pie, if you can’t find pineapple jello, you could dissolve unflavored gelatin in pineapple juice ❤

love pineapple
God bless ur the comment in the bottom said she had was in an accident God bless them all I pray you're okay
My granny was plump too and she was cooking all the time also...hey ppl when you choose to eat lots of unhealthy foods, its a choice. **Dont Forget to exercise, it is just as important as eating!!! Everyone , go for plenty of walks and take care of your bodies, set examples for your kids and grandkids....dont eat yourselves into oblivion... be kind to yourselves!!
I once used a recipe where I cooked cornstarch in water until it was clear and thick, then added it to the meringue and I couldn’t believe the volume! After I put it on the pie it was about 8-10 inches high! I had to move the shelves in the oven for it to fit in there.
Well once it was browned it had deflated some and I didn’t really care for the texture. It was prettier piled up on the pie before I cooked it. I never used that recipe again. 😂
That would be like boiled frosting :)
Had quite the time trying to get to your Facebook page finally gave up and found this oldie but goodie from when you were living in St Mary's house. Hope all is good with you as wanted to know if the CT scan was ok -- hopefully you will post something new tomorrow.
Yes it was clear!
@@CollardValleyCooks praise the Lord! Good news indeed.
had a bit of a time getting onto the website -- don't know if it was down but finally went thru TH-cam and I was able to see this oldie --post when you were living in your old house. Just wanted to see if you were doing ok after your visit to the dr and the ct scan -- anyway have a great weekend and hope you are doing fine.
👋🏻🧑🦳😀❤️😋💐 The back ground noise sounds like the ocean ebbing and flowing. I’ve never that before on your site? Interesting! It’s putting me to sleep. 🥱💤🛌. 🤔hmm…?
You are not alone forgetting things, I recently forgot the sugar to my 9X13 chocolate cake. It turned out so good. Now I hardly put any sugar in, or none at all.
WOW, that is such a beautiful cake! Looking at it is bring back wonderful memories of my Mom’s upside down cakes. Lovely! 😊
I want to buy your cookbook
