I noticed the double door closet in the background. Do you use the closet? The layout is quite close to those doors. Where do you put your clothes? For a small layout, it really does look nice and well planned out. How does the cat like the layout? Does he jump on the layout when the trains are running and try to knock them over? My two cats have and I was a little upset about it, however nothing broke which I was glad about. Cats are curious seekers. The old adage, "curiosity kills the cat(s) isn't always true but it can happen if any wires under the layout are hanging down low enough that they can chew on them.
Great video TR and the Concrete Warehouse looks great! Definitely a great addition to your layout and filled that space perfectly! It's nice to have extra parts that can be used on other structures later or to even add to the warehouse. Thanks again for sharing your videos in this layout series along with your time and effort!
Man this thing is tough to build lol. It came in yesterday and I have a few walls up, but it’s definitely going to take sometime the directions are a little helpful but watching your video helps
Excellent job. Strongly interested in buying this from WALTHERS . Every thing including the Diesel & boxcars. Your scenery, looks great. This is just my first series viewing this being painted & built up now i'm sold. 👍✅🏬🚘🛣🛤🛤🛤🚦
Brilliant video and first class layout but there's one thing u need to get and that is a set of sprue cutter lol.... it kills me every time you twist the parts off 😫🫣😆😆😆
Hey mate great job on the warehouse👍. Always great the unboxing of a new model kit nicely detailed kit too. Your layout is looking good great to watch its progress. Thanks for the updates look foward to them.Anyway good onya mate👍👍.
Love these weekly videos mate. The warehouse turned out really good. I have built some walthers kits in the past only a securty fence but I have to try their buildings. From what I can see they look great. - Nicholas.
Great episode, got a decent amount of things done. Can't wait to see more locomotives & cars on the layout! Will there be a third section? And will there be a loop or a secondary yard? Wouldn't it be cool if you could somehow wire the trains to make an automatic runaround system where once the locomotive consist got to the end it would just leave the cars on a siding, bring the power on a siding and go to the other end of the cars? I know it'd be impossible to do that automatically but it would be awesome nonetheless.
If your aiming for a more modern prototypical layout you should get some BNSF sticker decals and patch the Burlington Northern logo on the side and put a BNSF logo with the number above it like you would see on a patched BN locomotive in the present day. Also the big numbers on the side would be patched as well (Look up pics if you don't know what I mean) Also name the figure George lol
Thanks man! I appreciate that. But yes there will be a 3rd section, It’ll just take another $100 or so dollars to do so haha and yeah eventually I want to have a full loop. That would be a super cool system though and far more complicated then I could handle lol
@@TopRailroad yup got 2 of them. Black one, he's grouchy, and a yellow one bout 7 months old. He's in the middle of your business all day everyday, i love it lol.
Love watching your videos. I’m starting on building my layout and watching your videos give me so much ideas, but I got to work with 2x8 plywood feels a little long for my first big deal layout if u say, but hopefully it will turn out good like yours someday👍🏼
You’ll need specific model glue that dries at a speed your comfortable with. I prefer a fast setting one or you’ll be waiting forever. I use Tamiya Extra Thin Cement glue. Also a razor, like the ones that are shaped like pens where you can replace the blade. Walmart has them in the crafts section. Spray paint for colors you want the building. And a ruler might help I use a metal one so I have a straight edge. A pair of snippers for cutting off the plastic molding. Hopefully I got everything
Concrete Warehouse. For the boxcars in the layout. Concrete Warehouse in N scale for my layout. Workshop in N scale. Scooby Doo bark to 😺. Scooby Doo busted the tail to the cat 🐱.
Great job building it. Too bad you didn’t put the truck unloading doors on the end, then you could have modeled some trucks in a parking lot in the open space.
Really loving the progress, however one piece of constructive criticism, not to tell you how to build your layout, but there doesn’t seem to be any place for trucks to pull in at the warehouse with your mainline right next to it on the other end. I don’t know if you planned it that way or otherwise, just suggesting.

Thank you man!
Warehouse is a nice addition…did a great job constructing it….enough parts left over to build another structure
Have to agree with you on the walthers introductions. They can be clear as mud sometimes.
Man this thing is tough to build lol. It came in yesterday and I have a few walls up, but it’s definitely going to take sometime the directions are a little helpful but watching your video helps
They are tough to build haha, just take your time and you’ll get it done!

Looks like a Jim to me (a slim Jim) 😂😂😂. The new building looks nice but could use some LEDs. Nice job!!!
😂😂😂 I like it. But yeah I need to do some research on that
Awesome. Love the kitty, they are sure nosey lol
Yes they are, but that’s perfectly fine 😂
@@TopRailroad yup got 2 of them. Black one, he's grouchy, and a yellow one bout 7 months old. He's in the middle of your business all day everyday, i love it lol.
Awh that’s awesome! Cats are the best
Crown Vic's are beautiful
Agreed! Such a classic for police interceptors
The building looks great
O i forgot the guy no the train should be called bob
Great job as always.
Really enjoy your videos. Name him Cole Hopper. You need a couple of cement hoppers to switch in.
Love it 😎
Very nice!! Thanks
Looks awesome!
Looks like your cat wants to help you with the building kit. That is so cute.
I like the building, you did a great job building it
Oh yeah top railroad
Do you plan to add a zone of houses in your layout?
I’m not sure yet. I would like to have atleast a small area of houses atleast but that’ll probably be on the next section
Track on truck door side so close a problem for trucks using that side?
Epic!
You should name him Derek
Thank you!
Love watching your videos. I’m starting on building my layout and watching your videos give me so much ideas, but I got to work with 2x8 plywood feels a little long for my first big deal layout if u say, but hopefully it will turn out good like yours someday👍🏼
Thanks man! I think that’s a great size, you’ll always want more space so the bigger the better 🤙🏼
What radius are your turns? Also name him Gary
There all atleast 22” inch radius. Gary is a good name as well 😎
Good job man just 👍
Thank you 🤙🏼
What all do I need to be able to build this correctly like what type glue any other tools you suggest?
You’ll need specific model glue that dries at a speed your comfortable with. I prefer a fast setting one or you’ll be waiting forever. I use Tamiya Extra Thin Cement glue. Also a razor, like the ones that are shaped like pens where you can replace the blade. Walmart has them in the crafts section. Spray paint for colors you want the building. @@TopRailroad thank you sir!
Concrete Warehouse.
For the boxcars in the layout.
Concrete Warehouse in N scale for my layout.
Workshop in N scale.
Scooby Doo bark to 😺.
Scooby Doo busted the tail to the cat 🐱.
This is such a cool video!
Quick question: Is you layout going to be A Loop-to-loop layout, or A Point to point layout?
It will be a full loop layout hopefully sooner then later
behind the warehouse you should put a abandoned track, why? Because it will add more realistic affect to it.
I always appreciate ideas :)
Hahaha cool cat!! Looks like he was sniffing around for some cat treats.
That warehouse looks great TR. Oh btw name the train guy...Boomer lol
Thanks! And I know he loves sniffing everything tbh. That’s a good funny name though 😂
@@TopRailroador How about callin him Brandon....like in 'Lets Go Brandon'!!
I think you should name him Payne so when your mad at him just so you a pain😂 I love your vid’s
That’s great 😂 always appreciate it man!
Conductor Everett shall be his name
Great job building it. Too bad you didn’t put the truck unloading doors on the end, then you could have modeled some trucks in a parking lot in the open space.
I know I wasn’t thinking that far ahead. Will see though things may work out better then I thought 😁
Take the conductor McCoy

I always appreciate criticism! And yes I’m gonna have to figure something out. I have a plan I’ll be showing in a week or so 😎
@@TopRailroad Great, look forward to seeing it.
It needs to come together assembled it takes too long for me
I know that would save a lot of time haha
Can you buy some more train cars that would be nice
Topper. His name is Topper. I paused the video and zoomed in. He’s actually wearing a name tag. New building looks great! Well done. Topper.
