Great haul like always. To clean coffee pot use ice cubes and salt . Swirl around the pot. It works wanders. This is what they use in restaurants. My favorite is cigar box and book. Hugs and have a awesome week. 😊😊😊😊😊

My favorite item you found for the room ithe steps. Perfectly on theme and will be so useful. This room is going to be amazing. I have a small collection of Annalee dolls, so I love the one you found. And I also have several Babushka dolls. They are so fun to display.

I love your dark academia picks. I have a small collection of it that I display all through the fall season . You could rub n buff the skull head and make it bronze, it would look amazing. Use the cigar box to put the brandy sniffers on along with the decanter next to it. Have fun with it, you can go crazy , it's a great decor style.

Hi Joanne. If you're going to paint the white wire basket you could also remove the handle,turn it upside down get a light fixtures kit and make it into a light fixture.

My favourites are the cloches and the urn/vase I can see that with dark grapes spilling over the sides.I think I’m with Caitlin on the skull unless you paint it in a solid colour getting rid of the features I don’t think I would like to be sitting in the library with him!!!!Another great haul thanks for sharing
He can be the guard skull LOL. Once I tone him down a bit, we'll see how he comes out. If she still doesn't like him, I'll sell him in my booth at Halloween. Hugs.

I like the uranium glass and the nesting doll. I have a small collection of both. They are small because I never find them in thrift stores around here.

Bleach will clean the coffee pot, add boiling water to fill and let stand. Rinse well afterwards. I love dark academia styling. I like the step stool. I’m short.
My parents would have a fit if anyone attempted to clean the tannin stain out of the teapot. Here in Australia, many people believe that it makes the tea taste much better as the pot is “seasoned.” Also, the milk must always go in the cup first. You should see the man in my life’s old tin tea cup. 😂😂❤

Brandy snifter. Put a short used drippy candle in the amber glass decanter. You should have picked up the matching candlestick the glass chimneys do not need to match. What does it say on the bottom of the teapot? Not a fan of skull. Sell it at your booth. Pothos is aka philodendron or a white and green variegated one is a devil’s ivy. It’s a bit more delicate. All prefer bright indirect light. The more light, the more white will appear in the plant. Do not place in a window, but near a window. I have a giant container of starts from different varieties. I’ll send you pictures of hearty plants which require light, but only indirectly. The further away from light source, the more spindly and weak they become. I love those dog stairs. Jack doesn’t use his any longer because he is totally blind. I love those Corning coffee pots. I had one with the Spice of Life design or another that had earthy tones. There was a recall on them years ago because the metal band would suddenly pop off and the handler would be severely burned by hot, even boiling coffee. They haven’t made them since. I remember those pots, mine was the larger one, were relatively expensive at the time. Corning offered you a credit or refund and I think it was like $2.00. What a joke. I used mine very rarely after that and disposed of it at some point. I rarely drank coffee back then anyway and usually only if I went out to eat. I didn’t make it at home.
Any plants in the room will be faux. Like I said, Kaitlin has my brown thumb and is bad with live plants. I have started to find the perfect dried plants for the amber glass vase. Hugs.

When I saw the cigar box, for some reason steam punk popped into my head. I Googled Dark Academia, and wondered if Katelyn would like steam punk touches in her room.
My son's friend from his freshman year, was into steam punk.

My favorite thing is the set of stairs.my “opinion” is you can do better for a waste basket. Scull is not my thing, but I will wait and see how you style it😊

Corningware coffee pot. I have had luck using auto dishwasher detergent to soak overnight.

the green dish looks like it would be a great banana split dish, also you could try and make a library ladder might be cheaper than buying one. Its something i would try lol Hugs
Yes, but the ladder needs to roll from bookcase to bookcase with special hardware which you need to buy. If I could make it, I would. Hugs.

My favorite item is. The same as you. It is perfect. Now this is just my opinion, but I wouldn't use the wire basket in her room. It needs, again just my opinion, a dark leather or faux covering or just a deep color. A coat of arms of such, would look great. You know these rooms in the 50s and 60s etc. were men's office/ library but called their den. That is of course later the men's den was changed and den became what was livingroom. The great room and family room. Sorry I didn't mean to write a book. I always watch and hit "like" , but hardly ever comment. Ha ha

They’re called brandy snifters, with a “t” in the middle. An old pocket watch with a watch chain would look great in the smaller cloche. My favorite from the Dark Academia is the cigar box. And from the home dec items, I like the acorn shakers. Hugs!

If I remember correctly, a Goodwill, North Raleigh Ministeries near the post office off of Capital Blvd, Cause for Paws behind Red Lobster off of Falls of Neuse and there may have been others that I just can't remember. Hugs.

Oh my God. My heart is aching. I can't believe this. I am so very sorry for your loss. Please give my condolences to her daughters. Sharon had the biggest heart in the world. She was so strong and didn't know it. A hole has been left with her passing. God Bless. Thank you for letting me know. I will never forget her.
