I was reading about Jemma’s difficulty in getting her first driving job from what it appeared to be discrimination and lack of trust from the potential employers side…but whatever the truth, I’ll bet they are pig sick jealous of Jemma’s employers … just look at the skill and expertise Jemma demonstrates in getting that trailer into the ti test of spaces, the conscientious person that she is… any decent employer would be right proud to have Jemma working for them, we need more trusty, hard working and dedicated people like her
Good Morning Jemz💎, thanks for another great start to the weekend. It definitely is a hit or miss when it comes to showers. I remember, like you, looking forward to having a nice shower BUT, on entering the shower I noticed a horrible smell. I don't know how people can be so disgusting, someone had 💩💩 all over the floor. I reported it to the services manager and 4 days later one of my mates went to use the shower and it hadn't been cleaned up. I hope you and Ryan have a great weekend take care, stay safe and happy safe driving. ❤
Hi Jemma, my wife & I caught up with you in the slow moving traffic on the M6 just before Hilton Park services on Monday. We’re were on our way home to Wiltshire from Forres near Inverness. Love your videos, retired from forty years in the agricultural industry, I recognise some of the farms you visit, happy days! Keep the videos coming.
As always a great insight to a busy day. Nearly 15 hours in the saddle. I remember it well. Fair play Jemma. Always a great watch. I do keep an eye out for you but I don’t do much motorway driving in my little blue tanker. All the best xxx
The traffic jam on the motorway at the start was bad, you've lost a lot of time there. It's strange to see there's fog in July in England. The building materiels yard was a real nightmare, tight, narrow and no room for error. But of course you handled it easily. The rest of the day went smoothly and you could even take a refreshing shower. Awesome vlog as always Jemma. Harvesting season is around the corner, so I assume you'll be pretty busy in August.
Another great video Jemma, thank you! Also to the many appreciative and courteous car drivers that stop and let you through! Safe travels! D Cape Town SA
Hi Jemma. I live in Wantage and it was nice to see my town on the video. Those parked cars are a pain. If I see a big truck there, I always let them go first :).
Hi Jemma. Even me and my family are on our holidays me and my daughter couldnt miss your new video. So we are enjoying watching it this morning on the beach 😊 Today we are not in Slovenia but in Greece
Your right about the dust,it does get everywhere including your lungs.I know iv'e said it before about wearing a mask when you are inside the trailer sweeping it out but one day it might catch up with you.Best not take the chance.
Hi jemma that's another great video from you I really enjoy watching them and to see you deliver from day to day and I see you work very hard aswell hope you are keeping ok too look forward to your next video from your number 1 fan John xx❤
Hi Jem, We have watched the videos for a while now. Managed to spot you in our home town of Wallingford and then on the M5 last week … If you saw a blue Ford Ranger flashing you it was me 😂
Another good video, can’t get over how narrow your roads are, good job that you are not driving a Australian road train 😅,you do a great job,and make it look easy, also can’t get over that your trucks don’t have a two,way radio like here in Australian,as you can talk to the weight bridge or the person who loads your truck.
Brings back good and bad memories of when i trucked mainly in the south and s west with hewicks witch wear a good company also. But am glad i left the industry last year to move and start my own business up. Also has changed my lifestyle for the better. I found trucking can grind you down also not great on health either. But there will be a small element that will miss some bits of trucking.
Brilliant Jemma. It's a good job you are such an incredible driver. Is it going to be a good harvest, considering the weather we have had?. Thanks Jemma take care. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🤸👍
Hi jemma just done my hgv theory I passed case studies and hazard and perception just failed the multiple answers :( but I rebooted it. And my practical is on the 20th September 😊😊
Shame, that nice clean truck, all dirty again. 😂😂 What!!!! no cup of tea first thing, I am presuming you had it off camera. 🤣🤣 Bugs in your wheat, never a good thing. 😲😲 Not a bad day some ups, some downs at least it wasn't raining and you got a good shower. 😎😎 Hope you enjoyed your chicken salad. I knew there would be a cup of tea in this video somewhere. 🤔🤔 Sweet dreams and safe journeys.
Hey, Gemma great 👍 video 📹, 👌 the time ⏲️ you were stuck in traffic, you could have made a cup of 🍵 tea, And drank it😂😂😂😂, the aggregate tip was very tight, it's sad that truck 🚚 drivers, first though of 🚿 showers is trepidation, it should be a given there clean and provide warm water, ridiculous!!!!, can't beat a salad during summer time☀️🌞, and I'd prefer a soft 🥓 bacon bap, 😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
Hey, Jemma - I don’t know about anybody else but I would appreciate knowing a bit more about your gearbox. Is it automatic or semi automatic or manual? How many gear ratios does that give you access to? Do you have high and low ratios? Any other gearbox information would be appreciated. Just curious. Good work on the videos. Thank you.
The big differences watching English truck channels and the Oz ones from where I now live are you are not constantly chasing up and down road ranger gearboxes. And all the rest stops. About 30 years ago in the UK I was driving a truck with the paper tachometer and driving restrictions. All that time later they still don't have anything like that in Oz. But you are starting to see a few more cab overs without the Eton box.
Hi Jemma, why do you never wear gloves when filling your truck with diesel. Fuel pumps aren't the cleanest of things and any diesel on you hands will smell and also get on your steering wheel and controls.
Just love your take on life Here’s another drivers insight to trucking …… Its about time drivers in this country stood up for themselves when it comes to parking and the requirement to be able to buy food on the road, especially at these big supermarkets that rely so heavily on massive transport activities to survive yet treat those drivers who make it all possible with absolute disdain and contempt. In my opinion society (which we are a part of) has a responsibility to trucks and drivers like it does to everybody else. We’re not allowed to just drive 24 hours a day, we have to stop by law yet often find it incredibly hard to do so unless its in a location with no food, no showers, no toilets and the like. People treat us like scum because we let them, we expect it and ignore it when it does happen and move on to the next pathetic parking space away from civilisation. We’re treated worse than gypsies, at least they dont allow themselves to be herded away from places like a herd of sheep. We are all hard working members of society and the vehicles we drive are the linchpin in our society being able to exist in the way that it does and as such I dont think its too much to expect that we’re not treat like leppers and that our vehicles are provided with adequate parking. Every local council/authority should be required to provide a certain amount of parking in or near towns and ensure that supermarket car parks are open to truck parking, at least in the evening. Infact I think it should be part of the planning permission application, that way councils wont actually have to foot any expense. But no, that wont happen because no one cares and no one cares because drivers dont care or say a ■■■■ thing when they get run out of town like a bunch of tramps and vagrants to go and crap in bushes, ■■■■ in bottles and such like on the industrial estates and laybys that are far enough out of town as to not upset the local inhabitants who want to go shopping and live off the products of which each and every one of us has brought them in the trucks that we drive.
Having been away from artics for a few years and about to return as a box jockey again these videos from Jemma are incredibly useful (apologies Jemma for the earlier snark attack on the music you use,l hadn't by then explored the rest of your previous excellent vids where you were very proportionate with the tunage quotients) My overarching feeling as i stand shivering by the HGV pool waiting to take the plunge,is just the insane amounts of traffic about that wasn't even as bad the 5 year's I've been AWOL from the game ?, So indicative of squeezing a pint into a quart-pot nature of the UK's grotesquely over population policy,a problem our WEFminster sock-puppets seem to be doing their level best to exacerbate by year's of giving the blind eye to what's washing up at Dover increasingly, and thus to a situation where no one gets to have a decent time here anymore in blighty. It's like stuffing a fois gras goose liver till bursting point politics but with people rather than grain.
I was reading about Jemma’s difficulty in getting her first driving job from what it appeared to be discrimination and lack of trust from the potential employers side…but whatever the truth, I’ll bet they are pig sick jealous of Jemma’s employers … just look at the skill and expertise Jemma demonstrates in getting that trailer into the ti test of spaces, the conscientious person that she is… any decent employer would be right proud to have Jemma working for them, we need more trusty, hard working and dedicated people like her
Thank you very much for your comment. Jemma has always put 100% into whatever she does and always will. Thanks again and take care.
‘It is what it is’ What a wonderful philosophy for life. Goodnight Jemma, always a pleasure to watch your videos.
Another insightful video of a day in the life of a trucker. In theory they should be boring videos, but they're not. Keep them coming.
❤

Some times you do talk posh Jemma. lol
Oohhh forgot to ask did you get the light on top of cab sorted???
Jemma you seem to like them 9 hours off ? its much better to work it the other way round ie 15 hours off.
We deliver to that place it's a sithole not a lot ov room 🙈

What happenes if you can't find a place to park and go over your driving time?
what do you do about going to the loo over night ???
Have you found any problems in your daily check
Hi Jemma
Joe from Kenya....what happened to the white steering wheel
Hi Jemma can you tell me what happens if you are stationary on the motorway and time runs out what do you do then reg Kev.
If u run out of time u can drive to the nearest exit and find somewhere to park. Then do a print out and explain why you have gone over your time
What is add blue?
Good job on the video. Do you own your tractor or are all of Wains trucks company truck and you just get paid a wage?
Wains own all their trucks . Take care
