Liz, your amazing - cannot believe how many things you made from the book. In respect of the material you thought was “too busy” for you, it looks fine. Great to get an insight into the book, thank you for doing that.
Many thanks for this review as I was thinking of getting the book but I was not sure if I would make many of the patterns when I saw it on Amazon. But your makes from it are very inspiring and I think I will get it now. I have her other books but there will be enough for me to make from this one to justify adding it to my library! Happy sewing.
Can’t believe you have made all those makes from the book! That’s amazing!😁 especially love your olive pinafore you’re wearing and the jumbo cord dungarees ❤️ X
Sewing Bunny Thank you so much for watching! I was lucky enough to get a week of sewing time 🎉 and all the patterns are speedy to put together. My jumbo cord dungarees are probably my fave too 💖
Tamlyn recommended your channel to me. I’ve really enjoyed this video. Lots of lovely makes, which have inspired me. I have the book but have only made the Juno pyjamas. I hope school goes okay for you.
Lynne Lyons Thank you so much for watching - really appreciate it and for leaving a message too. School will be different but hopefully we can make it fun for the children who have to still come in 💖
I love all your makes, I will put Tilly’s book on my Wishlist. Good luck with your new method of teaching,I’m sure you will be fine. You already make great TH-cam videos. ❤️🇦🇺
Julie Agar Thank you so much for watching and for leaving such a lovely comment. I really appreciate it. I love Tilly’s new book - it’s got great patterns in. Happy sewing 💖
Thank you for watching. Yes 2 metres would be enough fit the short sleeved dress. The top part takes roughly 1 metre and the for the skirt you make it as long of short as you want. I’ve made quite a few of mine from 2 metres xx
I am having trouble figuring out how to trace the patterns from the book. No matter what I do I have a mental block. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.
Charlie Darby I would leave the Olive dress until last. Beginner friendly patterns are the Tabitha t-shirt and Safiya trousers. The dungarees I know some people have had to work on the dot - this will depend on how different your waist and hip measurements are. The suki dress is easy to fit and sew up too. The pyjamas are also a good beginner pattern if you feel confident with jersey - great instructions xx
We should all have more compassion towards ourselves in this uncertain time. Beautiful makes! Thanks for sharing!
Andréanne Abel I agree - we definitely need to remember to be kind to ourselves. Thanks so much for watching 💖

Thanks for the vlog. How much fabric does the Tabitha dress take? Would 2 metres be enough for short sleeve. (Uk 12]

Hi I'm very much a beginner , which pattern would you recommend I start with from the book? Or any to leave until last?

Thankyou so much for your reply I'll start with the tabitha tshirt and safiya trousers this weekend 🙂
