For some reason this city and it’s transit system has become my obsession and I don’t know why lol, but now I want to see it converted to some kind of light metro.
@@guinessbeer yeah but now that its already been built, they should start making improvements to the system where they can to gradually convert it, such as raising platform and train level and fully grade separating it. Getting caught up in a bunch of could’ves and should’ves will get you nowhere, you need to work to improve what you have
I was thinking the same thing! Like I am glad that they have these trams, but they really should have taken a page out of Vancouver's book and built something like the Skytrain, automated Light Metro in Seattle would be so successful! That being said, at least they have a train service at all, and the light rail vehicles they run are pretty nice and well taken care of. Sound Transit is good but good be so much better!

Something like that will probably happen at some point perhaps by grade separating and automating it
