I was a regular rider on the Houston, Texas Metro Bus System from Monday, January 7'th, 1985 until Friday, June 21'st, 1989; and on various San Francisco Bay Area Bus Systems-including "Wheels" (provided by the Livermore/Amador Valley Public Transportation Authority)-serving the East Bay towns of Dublin, Pleasanton, and Livermore; "County Connection"-serving the towns of Pleasanton, Dublin, San Ramon, Danville, Alamo, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, and Concord; "Sam Trans"-serving the cities of Daly City and Pacifica; BART Express Buses-serving the towns of San Leandro, Hayward, Pleasanton, Dublin, Livermore, San Ramon, Alamo, Dublin, and Walnut Creek; and the BART (Bay Area Regional Transit) Trains-to and from Daly City, San Leandro, Hayward, Oakland, San Francisco, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, Concord, North Concord, and Richmond-All for reasonable fares and operated by talented, enthusiastic, experienced, competent, friendly, helpful, informed, cheerful, safe drivers!
Yeah, well enjoy it while you can. As of March 30th, 2019, that tunnel will be for Sound Transit Light Rail trains only. All the buses will move to the streets.

Yes they do. These routes are only underground in Downtown Seattle.
