@@mr.e432 She has talked about them at her rallies. Her opponents have not gone into detail on policy at all because they’re too busy mudslinging to distract from the fact that their policies are widely unpopular.
As for reasons she hasn’t done a press conference yet, there’s a couple. For one, she and Walz have only been campaigning together for less than a week, so it stands to reason they would want to take some time to put together a solid playbook for going in depth on policy beyond the bullet points at her rallies. She’s also letting Trump and Vance spin their wheels. As the saying goes “never interrupt your enemy when they are making a mistake”.

There's a good interview here on YouTUbe showing an interview with one of the leaders of the Haley Voters with Harris Group. It was telling and gave me real hope. And may have been a good argument for keeping Biden. I think Biden has been a good president. He had to fix so much crap in this country and he did but most of the country doesn't realize it.
Anyway, The Haley Voters leader said there were over a million voters in battleground states who refused to vote for Trump. There were 150000 in PA alone. He also stated that Biden won PA by only 60000 votes. He felt there were enough anti-Trump Republicans to ensure a Harris victory in all of the blue wall states and possibly swing AZ and GA blue as well. His job was to explain what Harris had in common with them to make her more palatable to those voters. Hopefully he does it.

I am actually excited about the Harris/Walz ticket, and am loving the energy around them and their campaign. They love the country and want to build a future for everyone. As a small business owner and a believer in "small government" and the free market, I have considered myself a semi-Republican my entire adult life. The growth of the theocratic wing has pushed me further and further away, however. I would rather argue with my friends about economic policy than see my friends demonized and marginalized by cruelty and stupidity. There was plenty wrong with the GOP before the rise of Trump but the reality now is simply unnerving and insane. I agree with the Never Trumpers: the GOP needs a solid walloping and the nation needs about a decade of therapy to get over the insular fear of small-town Christianity. That's not to say that there aren't issues that are going to make it difficult for Democrats to maintain this weird coalition -- I worry it won't survive the demise of Trump and it really NEEDS to. Rural issues like "one size fits all" ag regulations and water regulation are killing small farmers. The business of America should be SMALL BUSINESS and we need to shape our legislative policies appropriately. I am not excited about a coalition between corporate interests and Left/Center politicians. There IS a role for government to play in supporting the wonderful inefficiencies of small business, home ownership and the middle class. All the moral and ethical standards of Conservatism spring from these. End corporate welfare and bailouts. Hold corporate officers responsible for the behavior of their businesses. End corporate ownership of homes. There is a place and purpose for corporate structures but simply streamlining profit-taking is NOT good enough.

The difference between watching Harris speak and watching Trump speak is so obvious. She is an orator, she can read a room, she knows how to voice her words so they reach everyone in that room with her or watching on tv.
