Jamie Raskin and Robert Garcia wrote a letter to Trump asking for evidence to disprove claims that he accepted an illegal $10 million campaign donation from Egypt just days before his 2017 inauguration. This comes a month after the Washington Post reported that the DOJ started and halted an investigation into the alleged bribe during Trump's presidency. Rep. Jamie Raskin joined MSNBC's Ayman Mohyeldin to discuss.

He violated the emoluments clause from the beginning! He believes that the rules don’t apply to him and the fact that he has yet to be held accountable supports that!
Violating the emoluments clause and making money off the Presidency is what he thought it was for! Also employing his family; why was THAT ever permitted. And, as the documents case is relitigated we'll find out what else he figured was for sale.
We need a Trump Crimes Commission when he’s gone. Get a full list of potential/likely crimes he committed while as President and since he left office. Send a message that he was officially the worst President in American history.
Officially annulled and voided his entire Presidency. Everything he did in office would officially be canceled or overturned immediately, his election victory in 2016 would be stripped and all of the votes he got in 2020 and 2024 would also be stripped, have all of the voting totals with 0 with an asterisk with the explanations of why the election totals were disqualified.
Strip him of all of the post Presidency benefits such as the Official Office, the pension, secret service protection, etc. He would also be banned from having an official state funeral and memorial services when he dies & no Presidential Library and Museum as well. He would also be banned from having anything named after him such as military bases, schools, government buildings, etc. named after him.
And he seems to be proving he is above the law ,UNFORTUNATELY.
Time to vote .... for accountability.

That being said, someone did leak a part of his tax returns (which is illegal) and Rachel Maddow, over on MSNBC, than aired those returns (which should also be illegal) and it ended up showing he paid more in personal income tax (both in percentage and in real dollars) than people like Bezos and Gates (who are much more wealthier than Trump) and corporations like CNN and MSNBC.
