Just finished. You are the man bro. I feel like I owe you a beer or blunt my friend. you just saved me 350 dollars. Wish you the best my man. Take care and keep up these awesome videos bro.
Thanks for the video, so you have to do the procedure holding the brake button the gas pedal and pressing the start button at the same time and holding them until the message in the display lights on?
Thanks for the tip. Just a heads up, I just used this same procedure on a 2019 Lincoln Navigator, works great. My launch scanner was unable to enter service mode.
Great video I never would have figured that out. I would have been using crowbars and clamps and everything else under the sun. That might hurt me. Thanks again
Interesting video can I have some info about the reliability of this car because I'm considering buying a 2015 model mkc? What things should I look out for
My son did the brake pads back tires lincoln mkz 2017, but after going through your video the ebrake still on and locks the brakes still. He even put it on maintenance mode and the ebrake keeps blinking and then locks up. Please help

So by doing this I will be able to push the caliper back in with out that spinner tool? Or does just make it easier to push in and still need that tool? Also last question is do I do this for the front also? Thanks again for any advice you can give me. AWESOME VIDEO. Ty
Mann, I’m working on it now. I didn’t know about the maintenance mode and I already took the pads out, now I can push the pump back in because the car say park brake malfunction service now. Any help with getting the pump push back in work be greatly appreciated.
I would put the pads back in and try and put it into maintenance mode the correct way. Besides that i unfortunately cannot offer you any advice. Best of luck
I have a 2013 MKZ. I can not push the pistons in. Looks like you've explained it pretty well on how to get it into maintainence. Only thing is, I don't have an ignition for a key. It's just a push start with the remote key sensing. How do I do it without the ignition switch?

Awesome! Thanks for the kind words!
Thanks a lot ! Worked on my 2018 Lincoln Continental
Awesome! Good to know. Id assume there are other lincon mercury ford models that this method will work. Thanks for adding to the list!
@@freon480it will probably work on all Ford and Lincoln models with EPB. I know it works the same way on Ford F-150.
Thanks. That's exactly what I needed. I checked with the scanner and couldn't find it.
Glad it could help!

No spinner tool is needed. The front brakes do not need anything special. The car does not need to be put in maintenance mode to do the front brakes.
@@freon480 awesome. Going to do it today. You all are the best. For answering questions and all the best videos. Thank you
@@noonzyc523 so the rears did not end up needing the twist in piston tool but the push in style?
Does this apply on a mks?
Is the procedure needed for the front brakes as well?
No. The caliper pistons just get pushed back like another brake job.

I'm having problems setting my emergency brake on my 2009 Lincoln MKS? Also, releasing it. New to this car.

@@freon480 Was working on mine wife's 2015 mkc today, you saved me a bunch of time.
I have 2017 escape, same procedure for maintenance mode. You sure rear brake caliper piston can be pushed or should I screw it in? Thanks
@@Feniks6011 simply put it in service mode, calipers will loose and you can put them back with screwdriver as on regular caliper.
@@Feniks6011 yes it pushes in just like a normal front caliper would. :)
