Massive metalcore fan confirming that this is indeed metalcore. That was transition from the breakdown to the clean part was sick as fuck, and overall that was just an amazing song. Would love to hear Nik do an entire album of this shit with vocals and of course some bitchin solos too.

I originally started watching you for your skills as a guitarist/musician, and I dropped off after getting tired of the meme videos and reaction stuff. This type of video is definitely what drew me to your channel in the first place so I’m very happy to see some of this content again.
I would love to see you write songs like this and then break it down by going over the thought process, the scales you used, how you incorporate things like tapping, how you got the tone, etc.
You’ve done similar videos in the past, but not as something that incorporates the whole process.
Its the perfect combination of AILD, all that remains, god forbid, Texas in July and all the other classics with a fine pinch of modern metalcore

@@iooosef6006 metalcore bands from the 2000s (specially in those years in some cases) were hugely influenced by NWOBHM, Thrash, Hardcore and SPECIALLY melodic death metal like In Flames or At The Gates. Some people even call that wave Atthegatescore (jokingly). Not that hard to grasp
