An appeal to the one-time mainstream British version of 'Christianity' (if it is now polite to speak of such things once more), with a hefty lime-washing of popular emotionalist (often situationalist) repositioning aka My Own True Story engagement. Fairly eloquent, a trifle flamboyant, and very nearly a whiff of 'spirit-of-'68' rebellious theology (modelled to suit the mood music of the 'times'), and altogether .. nice. So the house might well want to be a sinner, but then who would turn away from a chance to experience .. love (all loves excelling, no doubt) in a personal relationship with (their own idea of) Jesus, aka (sneakily) to be a 'saint' (as well, not instead of); and that would be nice, wouldn't it? .. yes, it would, Millicent .. George! - don't do that.
Not a gripping dive into the philosophical maelstrom - yet a pleasant stroll around the old rose garden now with a glorious array of rainbow colours .. many newly introduced; and a what-do-you-think-of-them style ...
Hmm? 'Lovely ..' (is that the right answer?)
