Those little compass components are so stinking cute! Love your videos - they are so very inspirational and they give me ideas that I would’ve never thought of doing. Thanks for sharing!
At the end of the video when you showed the finished earrings in pairs on your hand, I couldn't see them, they were too high up and I thought, "Why doesn't Javi say something?" Then I scrolled up and realized didn't have my entire screen showing and it was my fault-LOL! What a ditz! Enjoyed the video very much. Thanks Brenda and Javi.
I just read that about Swarovski last night and was shocked. I've got some of their bicones for my bead weaving puffy hearts, but rarely use them in my fashion jewelry. It's sad though. I think crystal wise that Preciosa might be a good alternative, but no one has all the colors as Swarovski does. They've already stopped creating the crystal colors and think the stock will last until September. Some of my pals are trying to buy up a lot, but getting upset that they can't get all the colors. Your earrings are so unique and sparkle-tastic!! The compass earrings are awesome! Once I get my beading area unpacked this year, I'll be coming by your shop to get some of these cool findings that you always have. Sparkle-tastic as always!
Yes, the community has been lamenting this for a couple months now, and most of us couldn't believe it, we thought it was false report! If ONLY it had been...but as far as the stones and beads and such...yes there is a wider berth of color at SWA. Other than that, however, I'm a Preciosa girl and have rarely ever had new Swarovski, only vintage, and there's still a good bit of that out there. I don't think the old-old stuff is as bright, though...but that's okay with me. Sparkle is good; I don't need blinding sparkle, LOL. My thought is that this leaves a huge amount of room for the Preciosa company to grow and develop more color and specialty product. At the end of the day, it's the Swarovski name that is the draw. Preciosa doesn't get as much respect, it's just as good---for me, anyway. And you are welcome at our website anytime, Monica! Thanks for watching the video.
fun...love those connectors
Thanks for watching, Pat!!
Those are really cute Brenda and Javi.
Thank you so much!

I made a pendent but I used light colored beads and needed more color. Time for a do over!
Sometimes a do- over is a good teaching experience, too.
