- This video is an introduction to the one-way repeated measures analysis of variance (RM ANOVA; Within-Subjects ANOVA), including a description of how it is used, its elements, and the assumptions data must meet to be analyzed by the test. The assumptions of normality and sphericity are reviewed.
Hello, first of all thank you for your videos.
Secondly, I have a suggestion: Instead of running three normality tests (or N tests), one for each of the within-subjects factor, it is possible to run only one normality test on the residuals of the data.
It is a problem when you have a small number of samples and you have to do a normality test. Therefore, running a residuals analysis, you increase the size of the data, giving a more robust analysis.
An example with a one-way ANOVA: you have three groups and each have a sample size of 6 (n=6). Instead of running three normality tests on n=6, it is possible to run only one test on eighteen data points (n = 18).
I found this video very helpful especially when writing the statistics analysis section of my proposal
This video was rather helpful in clarifying the difference between the one-way repeated measures ANOVA and the two-way repeated measures ANOVA. I was having difficulty understanding and distinguishing between the two until you provided your example in the video.
Hello Sir, thankyou for such informative and life saving videos .Can you please share any 3-way Anova ?
Hello, may I ask whether there is a non-parametric test equivalent to One-way Anova within-subjects test?
Aw man, im just gonna drop out
where can I get data for a repeated measures project on diabetes?
