When conducting a Repeated measures ANOVA, I was asked: What is the F-value for this effect according to the univariate approach?" The "according to univariate approach" statement threw me off. what did they mean by that? Do I still look for the F-value in the "Between subject effect "table or Test of within-subject effect" table?

In my research I have two treatment groups and in each group I have taken measurements of pressure at 3 intervals ie 0, 2, 4, 8 weeks. I want to compare significance between 2 groups. Which test to use? How to say which treatment is better than other?
Suppose there are different levels of treatment, i.e. patents got a certain dose X1-8 , can I use the one way repeated measures ANOVA to find out which dose gave a better response in the subjects?
