Hi Phil. Sorry I haven't watched your latest video yet, I have been rather busy today and still have a long list of TH-cam videos to watch!!! So I need to sort out the "Electronics" on my boat, which are largely just devices. I don't think the tablet is going to feature much as I brough it lagrely for the big battery. I now have a rugged smartphone with a bigger battery at 21000mah. I use 1 device for just the speed on the boat largely. That also has an electronic compass on it and Savvy Navvy. The other device will be Savvy Navvy and also a tracking app that tracks to GPX files, so no connection required. I have a little depth sounder that connects to an app on the phone too but its untested so far!!!
@@anotherangleUK Yes definitely. I htnk the sea cruises have taught me more about kit and wind than 3 years of sailign on the lake have, so lots to change and tweak!
Looking good, what navigation software will you be using on the mini computer you're using on the boat?
