This is the EASIEST tutorial ive ever followed its straight forward so youre never questioning what to do next. This is the first project i actually finished!!
You never showed how to do the "U" part of the collarbone. I keep having to go back and see if you did a single crochet or slip stitch all the way across until you got to the other shoulder. :( Right now I'm having a hard time figuring it out. Would love to know how you did it as I'm determined to complete this project!
I think she just made the shoulder thing longer. Like before it was 12 stitches long but then she changed it to 21 stitches so that her collarbone wouldn't show much. Hopefully this is what you're looking for!
agreed. im also confused by that! i ended up doing slip-stitch down the side of the first shoulder, then dc along the row to the next shoulder. looks fairly similar to hers.
@carlsnemo I think I also ended up just slip stitching. I'll have to double check what stitch I used. I really had to squint and look hard to see what stitch she used. At first I thought it was single crochet but ultimately I think I stuck with slip stitching all the way. It just looks a little wonky with one shoulder being round and the other side not. But just gotta trust the process! I had to put the project on pause for a bit. 😅
Is anyone else having this problem? I crocheted my first piece of this project and it was perfect! With my second piece however I count the stitches of the first piece and chain that many and then start the 2nd piece. and i’ve redone it at least 4 times because the second piece keeps being insanely longer than the first
So is it not possible to start in the middle when you start making the curve for those sleeves? Instead of skipping 7? When you first skip 7, and do rows for the sleeves, one side has a 7 double crochets and one side doesn’t. Does that not make it lopsided?

Very nice Video. Could you just tell me, after you finished the fifth row on your sleeve, how you ended? Did you do a slip stich each time? My sleeve is getting smaller when doing so. Can you help? Thanks

yeah you can just cut and reattach your yarn to the middle instead

I used a slip stitch, the thing is you have to put a double crochet in the same stitch you slip-stitched or it’ll get smaller and smaller

idk abt grams but she said somewhere in the comments that the used 2 skeins of yarn
one skein was 170 gms and she uses two skeins of each colour
this was kinda hard and it was too big for me even the sleeves were to big for me
