Curious what the tolerances and recommended operating ranges are of these components, in terms of power. If they’ll accept 9v, might they also be able to handle 12v? I’d like to have a similar system, with a car alarm siren as the buzzer. The siren requires 12v, of course, and I’d rather not fry the circuit between the siren and the power source. Any idea? *if not, if you don’t hear back from me, it didn’t work.
hi, Can you pease explain that why do we have to use a 220 OHM resistor from the transistor "B" terminal to PIR out terminal. Please explain. what happen if we don't.
Nice... Thanks... Also please let me know : 220 Ohm Register - How many watt register to be used ( 1watt, 1/2watt or 1/4watt ...) 470 Ohm Register - How many watt register to be used ( 1watt, 1/2watt or 1/4watt ...) Buzzer - How many volt buzzer to be used. Also if I want to use the high power buzzer, then the circuit would be same. Thanks once again...
Friend i got a question it works. But it works only as a motion sensor and not PIR sensor. Because when i throw a towel in front of it the alarm Will go off. I want it to go off only when it detects a large heat source and not lifeless objects like moving curtains etc I have tried to adjust the sensititvy censor but no luck. Need.your help to.tackle this
Its good but i think pir doesn't work well if we place resistor in front of it...try using comparator which takes input nd gives output like in ir...otherwise it will continuously give high low voltage...as pir signal is very weak it just works with input.
Connect a megaspeaker to the source of the sound output that is powered by a powerful amplifier. If desired loudness is not reached. Connect heavy duty speakers to the amplifier, and a microphone at the center of output for the megaspeaker. Now the speakers are adding fuel to the expanding sound of the megaspeaker. Creating what we call a "sonic boom". Further increasing how much you can push the sound. The amplifier needs to be connected to a player with eq settings set to "loudness" for max effect. Ps. If you are able to change the alarm tone to a tune that break the db scales in Edison, add echo to scale it. Preferably a screaming elephant testing his SOS scream in colab with an alpha monkey frightened so hard he shits his pants. Also screaming for his life. You have now increased the sound. For increased result, create materials sustainable enough to not break while the alarm can be heard from some distance.
Not tried yet but I think it does Not work: Transistor needs a positive input at base but you feed it with negative input via 220 Ohm resistor. Other Parts are ok to me.
No,it is really WORK!The middle pin of pir sensor is actually OUTPUT pin which we can assume that as a positive to the base .Don't let that black wire colour trick you hehe 😎

Can I add 2 or more pir sensor to this same circuit. As I want to be sensed in more locations in house
can you use any bc547? I have tried this circuit and cannot seem to get it working so I assume maybe is the transistor I'm using
Tx for posting this .is the buzzer activ or pasive?
Can you use a bc 548 instead?
Bro how can i increase delay time from 3 sec to atleast 30 sec between conservative motion detection ? plz reply thanks
Any chance you can link to where one can buy these?

Whats is the range of pir sensor, and how we can adjust it

Use 1/4 watt
how many range required? 2Meters and above
What is the Minimum distance of moving object before the alarm sounded?

You need to use a HC-SR04 ultrasonic distance sensor for your purpose.
How did u adjust the sensitivity
Will it work the same way with 6v-12v buzzer

Is the resistor needed on the transistor base? Thanks
Can I get the circuit diagram U used to do this work
may l replace the buzzer with a 5v light
Good and easy. Thanks.
Do you have a link to a store page where I can buy the resistors
Do you have any idea how long this would run before it stops due to depleting the battery? Thanks
Not very long if it stays in retrigerable mode. I see in the video it has single cycle mode which will save the battery.
how to make it on ac supply and using siren
Can we use 12 v siren in this, and if yes what changes we need to do

How can i increase sound??
Depends on buzzer. If you use another buzzer you you will get
Connect a megaspeaker to the source of the sound output that is powered by a powerful amplifier. If desired loudness is not reached. Connect heavy duty speakers to the amplifier, and a microphone at the center of output for the megaspeaker. Now the speakers are adding fuel to the expanding sound of the megaspeaker. Plz reply me....
Why when i put the 9v battery the buzzer still on
