- At this point it is pretty much a battle of the ages. This time we’re going to be doing another “who did it better video.” Once again SH Figuarts is battling Figma to see who produced the best Jujutsu Kaisen Yuta Okkotsu action figure and in my opinion this is a very decent battle. Of course, I don’t ever think there is an evident winner but I am not someone who is going to determine that. I will completely leave it up to you guys to decide which one of these you like better. Personally, I enjoy both of these figures which is exactly why I knew I had to make this video. I wanted to compare both of them discussing every little detail that I could find while putting them up against one another. JJK is a very popular anime, and at this point, I am truly looking forward to what both of these companies will do in terms of making these figures. for the time being, I plan on picking up all of them just to see how they turn out. In my opinion figma makes figures look good for neutral, calm poses, which is why they have sleek sculpts. I got the shf yuta and think the figma yutas hair sculpt looks better but i dont regret my purchase at all because i enjoy all the joints in the shf. Great video as always

SHF is better imo due to the cheaper price and you get slightly more accessories, cause I agree for a figure that retails at 90 bucks, Figma should've included more but I ultimately still enjoyed both! Amazing review Ace!

You have a valid opinion, a $90 exclusive should be miles better than a $40 release from years ago, and the truth is the figma’s not. Art is subjective but a dollars worth will always be clear cut.

Sometimes a cheaper good option is better than a more expensive yet not flawless option. Even still, both aren't perfect but it just comes with a territory! When you look at the size comparisons, it really looks like the Figma and the SHF swapped figure designs somehow before production. The figma looks a whole lot better next to the SHF Yuji, so surprisingly, Figma did the better job in my opinion
The fact that it's so close means it's not close IMO. If I was told these figures were the same price, I'd still spend a little time thinking it over. The fact that the SHF is half (or probably more likely a third considering the market) of the price makes it a very easy win. For the price, Figma should've been packing in more accessories than the SHF. I'd take an extra faceplate over an extra pair of hands any day.
Just my two cents, but in the articulation section, instead of reviewing them separately, in a comparison video, you should do them together. For example, head tilts, which can do it better, or torso articulation, which has better range. That way, it doesn't feel like 2 reviews compressed into one video.
I'm all in on the figuarts. Got figma Gojo thinking it was the only one that looked better than its Figuarts counterpoint and I still ended up not liking it. There's a bulkiness and grittier look to the figuarts I enjoy more.
lol i have figma gojo too but i love him, only problem is i prefer shf for everyone else/shf is more affordable so that's what i'm going with and hoping the scale isn't too off
i only wish shf yuji had a smiling face and that one of the companies would get to pre or post awakening maki already. also shf needs to make nanami since figma's was bad
They both are great looking figures. I don't have any Figma JJK, but it should have gotten Nanami and Inumaki. SHF won't make them. 😮💨. Great vs video as always.

One thing that really bothered me about the SHF was that the forearms were painted skin tone. Is that the case for the Figma too? Or is it just skin-tone plastic like with most figures?
Honestly i think figma did it better( really overpriced but better) and i regret not preordering it. And the reason i didnt preorder it was because i prefer his culling game look over the zero. Great comparison video. Waiting for your review of shf kcm naruto.
i prefer that look too, thankfully people have made year 2 yuta hairsculpts for the shf (although they might make them for the figma too)
Got my Shf yuta for $20 so no contest on price alone for figma… good amount of accessories, I just hope figma would increase the size of their figures going forward and lower the damn price

I only see one problem with Figma's design, the button for some reason is on the shoulder instead of on the chest, which not only doesn't match the film but also causes it to be hidden inside the figure depending on the pose.

I'll start by saying I collect DB/DBZ/DBS S.H. Figuarts. I came here to compare these two. Gotta say to me that Figma destroys the S.H. Figuarts Yuta. The Figma is more pale, leaner and the faceplates/hair just look so much better. The legs are also a deal breaker on the S.H. Figuarts because the proportions look weird because of all the segments.
The only downsides to the Figma are having less articulation some places and the peg hole in the back. Still I'll take those hits for the better sculpt. Just my take on what I've seen.

Figma looks better, SHF looks cheaper and more glossy. The Figma also has a better head sculpt.

i mean i got the shf because it was way cheaper but i do agree the figma's aesthetic and proportions look great, i also like that his neutral face is a little more determined whereas the shf's neutral just looks bored, but shf has a smile and two screaming face plates whereas figma went for another neutral faceplate but with relaxed eyebrows for some reason
