Right there with you Tony. At 64, I stumbled onto a Wolf Alice video 8 months ago. I just had the whole band sign my Jackson guitar signed in Kansas City. Amazed at the body of work this band has put out. To go big time, and play your own material is incredible!

Why does this video/song hit like a ton of bricks? The emotion they can pack into a 5 minute song is mind blowing. This album has been on repeat all day, and is my favorite of 2021 thus far. Cheers, Wolf Alice, and thank you.
The entire album is lucious. In my nearly 6 decades, I have not anticipated an album more. Wolf Alice never disappoints. I am so glad to be alive to have experienced this one-of-kind band! Thanks, Wolf Alice!
I am not lying at all when I say that this song makes me get all goosebump-y and tear up every. single. time. that I hear it. It is absolutely incredible. Thank you so much for bringing it into my life.
The song is brilliant, and the video clip gives me such a moving and powerful message. As a personal interpretation, it made me think that you shouldn't be afraid of being yourself. If it doesn't affect anyone negatively, you should be brave to do whatever makes you happy. Maybe some people may laugh at you or think you're a fool (e.g., when the crowd rejects to join in), but by showing who you really are, you may lighten up some other people's mood, just like the man who joins in singing. The end is sublime and brought a tear to my eye. We're all human, after all.
I totally agree with you, but I like to see it from the perspective of someone with social anxiety, this song is just so powerful, it's her talking to herself: "I'm not fine here, how can I make it ok? I just want myself to be happy"
This is absolutely the bands most heart-felt and meticulously produced album. I cant wait to see where Wolf Alice goes. Please, i beg of you... keep it up guys. Thanks.
Really impressive vocals and creative arrangement. Ellie really showcasing the absolute power and dynamic abilities of her vocals, some of it sounds very much next level. Ellie is in a way, a next-gen Cyndi Lauper, Stevie Nicks, Dolores ORiordan, Liz Phair, Kim Deal and even T.swift hybrid all rolled into one- she's really incredible and the band has a brilliant chemistry.
What a song. I feel so connected with it and the melody makes me sway and I want to embrace everyone. Embrace myself and remind everyone that it’s going to be ok. Thank you for this song ❤️
I find the video clip distracting, but also poignant. It's karaoke (or lip synch?) and nobody wants to join in when its a "creepy old guy" doing it but one man doesn't care. He just loves the song so much that he has to jump up and join in, and embrace the man that loves the song as much as he. It takes a surreal turn at the end but it feels like the crowd joins in too. It looks on the surface that they may be suddenly gay for each other, but imo they are attracted to the song. They are connected by love.
This song means a lot to me. It's been 3 months and I'm still moving on from an abrupt break up from my 6 years of relationship with my ex. It sucked and traumatized me. This song helped me cope and managed to make me smile and get up from wallowing in existensial dread, especially when I listen to this song while looking at myself in the mirror bawling my eyes out. This song feels like a pat in the back, it feels like logical me talking sense to emotional me.
The song is so full of details and layers I am in love. The verse reminds me a bit of Evensong by Innocence Mission, which I have listened to again this morning, the first time in ages. The odds:)
There's something so beautiful and human about this video. One of the most remarkable videos I've seen in a while. Kind of hits at a sort of nostalgic, once-in-a-lifetime feeling that comes on a night out like this. This sort of ephemeral closeness, where maybe you'll never even see this person again, but it's meaningful enough in that moment. I'm rambling, but maybe some people will get this. Gives me some hope for the future of human connection
I never heard a song like this in years. Some how I see myself sitting in a empty lunchroom on a rainy day. Just moving my coffee spoon a little and staring at the umbrellas outside. This song is just beautifull and makes me want to think about sad times and giving them a new place to never show up again. I think that's the meaning of making music. Well done Wolf Alice

The musical arrangement of this song and Ellie's vocals are an absolute dream, this video is also spot on. How have I only just recently discovered this band, magnificent stuff.
my favourite Wolf Alice is has always been The Wonderwhy, and I think this song is its partner. The main chorus of The Wonderwhy has the lyrics 'don't leave me here when I'm not sold', and I never understood what that meant. In this song, Ellie sings, 'how do we sell you the world' and 'someone like you should not be left unsold'. I was brought to tears when I made the connection that being 'sold' means being convinced that living in this world is a good thing.
Upon my first listen of Blue Weekend the day it came out, I stopped in the middle of this song, and came to see if they’d released a video yet. I didn’t even finish the song and threw this video on and fucken BURST into sobbing tears. This song/video is so powerful and I can’t describe it. Wolf Alice on top.
Which is saying a lot since Visions of a Life is astronomically great. But I think it truly will, this song and The Last Man on Earth have wowed me to no end.
im 52, sadly probably have more experience in new bands etc than most but hopefully not all, wolf alice for me are one of the only bands right now pushing any boundaries musically, better live than recorded equals greatness, and that they are...... The "youth" of today deserve a band like this, cos the charts are absolute utter garbage. We can all agree though that this is an outstanding album.
50 here and I totally agree. All I do is search for what can compete with the music from 80’s and 90’s and there is only a handful of bands that are good/ great to listen to. Some of them come from the 90’s and still make music. Tool is above and beyond most groups. This day and age most is crap like mentioned 👆🏻 i am so glad I came across Wolf Alice Their talent wrecks the stuff on charts
What a album...ethereal, epic and in parts punky...it not only stretches itself, it works as a singular play with every song complimenting each other...almost dare I say...like a concept album. Please spread the word. In a world where the nature of the charts now don't lead to crossover acts like a decade or so ago, this band deserve to be huge. There is nothing as good as them out there at the moment. Either in pop, alternative or inbetween.
I honestly cannot decide what to like more- the absolutely beautiful song or the absolutely beautiful video . I am blessed to be faced with such a dilemma. Thank you .
One of the best bands of the 21st century, coming from a musicians stand point, this is just beautiful, got a chance to see these guys live in kc like a year ago or two years ago but I remember being at the Riot room up front just feeling the musical energy from Ellie and the boys of course! These guys are gonna be in stadiums soon!
Unfortunately, I have no luck at all with Wolf Alice. The Southside Festival in Germany is only a 30 minute drive away from me. In 2019 their performance was cancelled. For 2020 and 2021 they were back in the line-up, of course the festival couldn't happen. For next year they are not announced and the line-up seems to be already almost complete.
"How Can I Make It OK?" A moment to change it all Had life before been so slow? Urgency takes hold But to live in fear, isn't to live at all So how can I make it OK? I just want you to be happy How can I make it OK? I just want you to be happy How can I make it OK? Nothing else is as important as that to me How can I make it OK? Nothing else is as important as that to me Oh, oh, oh How do we sell you the world? Let it in, embrace and uncurl So fierce, so bold Someone like you should not be left unsold So how can I make it OK? I just want you to be happy How can I make it OK? I just want you to be happy How can I make it OK? Nothing else is as important as that to me How can I make it OK? Nothing else is as important as that to me OK OK A moment to change it all Had life before been so slow? Urgency takes hold But to live in fear, isn't to live at all So how can I make it OK? I just want you to be happy How can I make it OK? I just want you to be happy How can I make it OK? Nothing else is as important as that to me How can I make it OK? Nothing else is as important as that to me OK OK

im 52, sadly probably have more experience in new bands etc than most but hopefully not all, wolf alice for me are one of the only bands right now pushing any boundaries musically, better live than recorded equals greatness, and that they are...... The "youth" of today deserve a band like this, cos the charts are absolute utter garbage. We can all agree though that this is an outstanding album.
Here Here! Well said. They aren't being dictated to by A & R corporates and record execs.
YES!
57 myself. Many greets from Finland to all Wolf Alice lovers🌟😍🌟
Very nicely said - from a 57 year old who feels pretty much the same.
This is so beautiful and warmhearted, I'm crying so much right now
Beautiful voice.Beautiful song.
'How do we sell you the world' is such a beautiful lyric. It resonates deeply with me
What a album...ethereal, epic and in parts punky...it not only stretches itself, it works as a singular play with every song complimenting each other...almost dare I say...like a concept album. Please spread the word. In a world where the nature of the charts now don't lead to crossover acts like a decade or so ago, this band deserve to be huge. There is nothing as good as them out there at the moment. Either in pop, alternative or inbetween.
Such a good voice
I cannot wait to see them live again! I want to dance and sob to the entire up coming album in a room full of strangers doing the same thing.
I honestly cannot decide what to like more- the absolutely beautiful song or the absolutely beautiful video . I am blessed to be faced with such a dilemma. Thank you .
Literally in awe of the talent here. Just when I'd given up on new music, this drops from heaven. Utterly spectacular album!
Love the song. So dreamy. Reminds me a bit of the cocteau Twins
This music and mv give me goosebumps! Haven’t had that for so long
OMG! Just watched this in the TV. How good is this track and this video?!?! SO looking forward to the album coming out tomorrow!
These guys are killing it. The vocals are superb. The musicians are equally contributing to the song. We’ll choreographed tune. Great album.
A big thank you to all the band , I love that so much it on repeat for the week , bless ya
I absolutely love this song and this band
Oh boy this is a beautiful song. Thank you 🤍🌼
"How Can I Make It OK?"
A moment to change it all
Had life before been so slow?
Urgency takes hold
But to live in fear, isn't to live at all
So how can I make it OK?
I just want you to be happy
How can I make it OK?
I just want you to be happy
How can I make it OK?
Nothing else is as important as that to me
How can I make it OK?
Nothing else is as important as that to me
Oh, oh, oh
How do we sell you the world?
Let it in, embrace and uncurl
So fierce, so bold
Someone like you should not be left unsold
So how can I make it OK?
I just want you to be happy
How can I make it OK?
I just want you to be happy
How can I make it OK?
Nothing else is as important as that to me
How can I make it OK?
Nothing else is as important as that to me
OK
OK
A moment to change it all
Had life before been so slow?
Urgency takes hold
But to live in fear, isn't to live at all
So how can I make it OK?
I just want you to be happy
How can I make it OK?
I just want you to be happy
How can I make it OK?
Nothing else is as important as that to me
How can I make it OK?
Nothing else is as important as that to me
OK
OK
Hero
For me... This is one of those songs that take a hold in your mind.. I've been hearing it in my head for a few days now. The words resonate with me and the melody and vocals are beautiful and captivating ❤️
