Best song on the album IMO! The strings are just gorgeous, love how the song swells. Wolf Alice have come up with another master piece with this album, my favourite of 2021thus far!

Been thinking the same thing. So many bands stop working on their sound when the money starts coming in. Wolf Alice have the ambition to go with the talent. These songs have really been worked on. It was worth it.
Joint best song in the album with Lipstick On The Glass. Was hoping the video might do the song more justice as there’s an amazing potential with the huge atmospherics in this track not to mention the lyrics. That said you can’t really complain when your favourite band gives you a video for every track on the album.
Honestly I think they purposefully made it simple and striped it down. My interpretation of it (and this may be wrong) is that Ellie is at a party trying to have fun but maybe she doesn’t know anyone there (worst feeling ever) so she might be bummed out. Then she comes across 2 charismatic characters (from mv’s smile and hcimio) who find happiness from being with themselves and enjoying their self worth - simply they are having fun alone. She finds this odd as perhaps she has only ever felt happy in groups, but at the end she realised she can be at peace knowing she has herself to make her happy. Again I could be totally wrong so please give me your opinions. But I honestly think it matches the song well, with the song being so atmospheric I really feel they were focussing more on colour; and aesthetic appeal.

I guess the track just blew me away so much that I have had a libraries’ worth of imagery in my head every time I’ve heard it. As I said you can’t complain when you get a video of every track , perhaps it’s just because I’ve made music videos in the past that I can see parallel universe in which this one could have had a pretty epic realisation.

The first half of this album is the classic Wolf Alice I fell in love with, but the second half of the album is jaw dropping. I'm loving the atmospherics and sonic swells you guys experimented with on songs like this one and The Beach II. And the message and theme of this album in general hits at the right time for the world. We need this right now.
As someone who's lost their dad to smoking related cancer and have both my in-laws currently fighting cancer, also smoking related, I find it hard to watch such talented amazing people still giving smoking the "cool" factor for another generation to be drawn in. Love the album, love the videos, love the band. Hate smoking.
people smoke , people die from smoking related diseases. smoking is legal if you're of age. its free choice. they are not trying to be cool they just happen to be people who smoke.
@@-Paul__ I'd have to disagree, this isn't just someone who happens to smoke being filmed, it's an intentional artistic choice to include it. Given tobacco companies are unable to advertise or promote their products (in th UK at least) this kind of tacit endorsement is gold for them. Yes people are free to choose to smoke and free to choose to promote smoking, I just said that it makes me sad that they do.

I can attest to this. Listening on Beats Studio Buds 🤯🤯🤯 this song is an absolute masterpiece! Ellie and the gang blew this out of the universe.
