Welcome back to my channel, today I have for you something very special!
This is the first Lamborghini LB63X project, aka the Huracan replacement, test car that I get to spot driving on the road.
Based on the spy shots, the Huracan successor won't be a major departure, much like the Revuelto isn't massively different than the Aventador. It looks as though Lamborghini will embrace the hexagon motif even further as recently spotted prototypes had the LED daytime running lights (and turn signals) made from a six-sided cluster mounted within the massive air intakes. The upper strip was a slim horizontal shape serving as the low/high beams. At the rear, the hexagon-shaped exhaust finisher will be mounted quite high since it'll be flanked by the taillights.
Predictably, the oh-so-familiar wedge shape and low-slung stance will soldier on, as will the desirable proportions only a mid-engine configuration can deliver. The early versions of a Lamborghini tend to have a cleaner design before wings, scoops, and other aero and cooling elements are added on subsequent hotter derivatives.
This is where the biggest changes will happen as the Volkswagen Group is retiring the naturally aspirated V10 engine. The Audi R8 is already dead, and the Huracan's demise next year will represent the end of the line for the high-revving NA. Lamborghini has already announced it will downsize to a six- or eight-cylinder mill. Rumor has it the ten-cylinder engine will make way for a V8 with a pair of turbochargers strapped on.
It is believed the turbos won't kick in until 7,000 rpm, so before reaching that threshold, the Huracan replacement will behave like an ICE supercar. Flat out, the engine could rev to 10,000 rpm, so not all hope is lost after adopting forced induction. The Italian exotic automaker has already announced the Revuelto's dual-clutch, eight-speed transmission is also earmarked for its smaller brother.
The presumed TT V8 won’t be all alone since it'll work together with at least one electric motor. Yes, the new model will be a plug-in hybrid with a small battery pack likely to provide a limited electric range. We'll remind you that the Revuelto has a 3.8-kWh pack good for about six miles of driving without sipping any gasoline.
As far as power is concerned, we're expecting the V8 PHEV setup to outpunch the V10, even with two fewer cylinders. Adding a pair of turbos and an electric motor will surely compensate for the downsizing if we're talking about output, especially in terms of torque. The Huracan lineup tops out at 443 pound-feet (600 Newton-meters) while its maximum horsepower is 631 hp.
The folks from Sant'Agata Bolognese have confirmed an official debut is slated to take place by late next year. Consquently, the first deliveries are likely planned for early 2025. Knowing Lamborghini's modus operandi, it'll initially be available as a coupe, with a convertible likely to arrive 1-2 years after the model with the fixed roof.
Well, a lot. A base Huracan is already about $250,000, and there's no reason to believe its successor will be cheaper. In fact, we'd be willing to bet it will command a premium, even after the loss of the V10. Manufacturing costs keep going up and that intricate plug-in hybrid setup can't be cheap to develop and build. Lamborghini might want to offset some of the added weight caused by the electrified powertrain by adding more carbon fiber, which would obviously be reflected in the sticker price.
Enjoy the video! ;)

Have you noticed...?
✔The hexagonal DRL double up as turn signal lights
✔The new tailighs
✔The Revuelto-inspired engine cover and third brake light
✔The ultra-smooth gear shifting
✔The 2 missing cylinders 😔
it also seems to have a flat plane crank shaft too.
@@alessandrospadetto5372 I don't hear shit other than Audi v8
Yes, yes, yes, yes, and rather unfortunately yes!
R8 v8 lol
Damn, after hearing this, Huracans will appreciate a LOT.
You know they NEVER let you hear the car in pre-production state right?
@@dole9783No matter what they do, it wont sound as good as the V10.
@@dole9783 all tt v8 sound worst then the high rev na v8/10/12 even ferrari tried to do all sort of tricks to there v8tt and v6tt still they could not macth the sound of the 355/360/430/458.
@@senadhasanbasic260 amen to that
@@patthonsirilim5739 how about a v8 that revs to 10000 RPM?
Now I just can’t wait to see it without the wrap
NA V10 > TT V8
Twin turbo high revving flatplane V8 > Audi odd-firing V10.
Flat plane V6 will sound better than both. @@wendellnovais
@@TheCorrectionist1984what is a flat plane V6? Do you mean straight six?
It's basically the engine in a Porsche@@Fat-bananas
It revs to 10k rpm
gotta love the gallardo gen 1 headlight camo + aventadoor tail stickers.... so cute
So happy I got a Tecnica. Perfect blend of the new, transitional styling but with the glorious final generation screaming V-10.
Yea loving my LP560 with the 5.2 V10. A legend dies when that motor goes away. However I am sure Lamborghini will make this new one sick and it’s gonna wipe the floor with our cars. Will run like a 296 Ferrari performance. That’s probably their benchmark to beat. Beast
@@number36420 when you already have 630 screaming HP… further performance really becomes irrelevant. Even if a V8 hybrid is more performant, it will be accompanied by a tremendous loss of soul & passion.
@@CRE8VALUfact. With 6xxhp you're more than fast enough anyway
@@hasangenc2922 100%. I’ve never even used launch control. It’s amazing even without that right off the line.
@@CRE8VALU yeah, some people never get enough power, but i domt get it tbh. A 1500hp just comes out and they are instantely waiting for a 2000hp car. Never satisfied.
Congrats my friend!!! 💪🏼
I personally think the styling is going to way different to the renders floating about. I think they've done a great job of misleading people with the camo. And I think the hexagonals won't feature in the final design (or will be less prominent), they've added odd bits on to previous camo cars to throw people off, I think (or rather hope) they are doing the same here. But hey, what do I know, either way im excited!
Finally I'm not alone with this. After analysing the headlights I realised, Lamborghini is using a fake bumper to mislead the actual design of the car. There are some line hiding behind the camo almost everyone thinks this is the final design.
Wow nice catch. Keep up the stalking videos lol
Great discovery!!
the engine is likely to be a TT flat plane v8
Adding a v8 twin turbo would turn heads even more for those who build out engines. Huracans with built engines hit 200mph+ in the 1/4 mile drag, so cool !
One more thing: the factory will be re-tooling for the Huracan replacement in March-April of 2024. And I know that for a fact.
The Hybrid Hurricane replacement is finally showing itself from Sant Agata, can’t wait to see it without Camo
From the position of it's headrest, I'm making a huge prediction that it appears more spacious? Lamborghini is on a role. It's going to be fantastic!
It looks cool, the sound is so dissapointing though...
I wonder if the engine will be a stressed member like in the LMDH hypercar. If so, this is going to be better than ANYTHING on the market.
When these things happen you need to get in your car and chase!
Im still hoping Lamborghini release the rumored Huracan STJ
Lamborghini LB63x PHEV comes to Thailand 🇹🇭 2024-2025 ?
As long as it sound like the c8 zo6 we’re good😊
When is it going to enter production - early or mid 2025? Can't happen in 2024 as Huracan production will continue till late 2024.
Everyone complaining about the sound and the car is going the speed limit. Also, cue the “is that a Corvette lol” comments, because every mid engine car is copying the C8 now apparently.
The c8 itself is a ferrari 458 Wannabe.
Could the release date be like the revuelto?
Pebble Beach most likely
2025
I doubt it will be 2025. Car is ready. My dealer took the deposit a month ago. Pretty sure it will be revealed 8/2024.
It is a flat place crank v8 with a 10000RPM redline.
The corvette is also a flat plane which sounds exactly like the Ferrari's 458 drivetrain.
Don't worry, Lambo will sound great.
Crazy to me how more people are talking about the sound, than the fact that this is their LMDH hypercar powertrain.
Hopefully the next R8 would be V8 & not fully ev since it shares components with the huracan .
Nice catch!
🏎💥💥💥💥
Sounds like a Ferrari now😂
The new huracan hybrid the fast
Einen Hybrid Lambo würde ich gerne mal fahren ❤♉️🔥
God damn, this doesn’t sound good….
Why is everything so quiet now? 🤦♂️
this is a v8 probably the urus motor in it
Nope. The sound is like an mclaren v8 720s
I prefer design like st evo2 lol
Trying to make it look like baby Revuelto, with no exhaust sound, front and back light and everything looks like Chinese Replica...So sad😮.
Evo spyder is the Ultimate Best😊
Looks... stubby? Hopefully it's just the wrap throwing off the aesthetic. That exhaust is absolutely neutered too :\
I don't like turn signals
You're not the only one. They're just out of place on this car. They ruin the look of it.
I think I’d rather have a V10
When corvettes sound better than italian cars Yeeesshh 😅
The biggest turn-off is that it is gonna sound like the urus, which means that it's gonna sound like the RSQ8, RS7, RS6, which means that what makes it special is just the Lamborghini logo and the Lamborghini design dna
I doubt it's using the same V8. Hopefully it's like AMG GT Black Series flat-plane crank vs. normal AMG V8 with cross-plane crank. Atleast in this video it sounds nothing like other current Audi / VW V8s.
Hopefully It’s like the one on the Le Mans car
@Guuggel it sounds like an urus jusr hear it well
From sources I have read and videos I’ve watched Lamborghini is gonna develop an entirely new engine that’s has a 10,000 rpm limit and would be focus on giving the diver a naturally aspiration feeling yet being emissions compliant they said the turbos won’t kick in until 7,000 or 7,500 rpm
Firstly the urus sounds way better than the Audis. Like way way better but I guess there’s no need to even explain cus you already seem to hate what’s not even released yet. Try making a company and building your own car let’s see how easy it is
Quiet
if this will have the twin turbo 4.0 v8 from the urus / rsq8 / etc, i'll be dissapointed
Why don't they make a smaller V10 instead of adopting Audi's V8? Ferrari seems to be developing a smaller V12
Source? Oh and it's not an audi v8, the engine is from sc63 le mans hypercar that Lamborghini built.
thats def not a urus cross plane v8, firing order is way different
germanification of italy and vwfication of lambos
Someone give me a loudspeaker or headphones
amo lamborghini, ma il nuovo gruppo ottico posteriore e lo scarico lasciano un po' a desiderare...
hmmm the engine on that sounded very week, like a worse then my V6 RS5, also was i imagining it but was he slowing down for you?
Could it only be a V8 only for testing?
I just don't understand ONE thing... Why V8, but no V10??? Huracan had a V10 no V8
It's because this is not a Huracan
It has to do with stricter emission rules. A V10 just don't fly anymore. Which is a shame...
@@lukasdafnas7516 They absolutely could make a V10 fly, I mean the Revuelto has a V12. The real reason for downsizing the engine is that it makes the shareholders feel good.
@@TheAllAroundManUnfortunately, this is correct.
The Revuelto will be made in way less numbers than the new baby-Lambo. The total emission figure of that model will be eaten up by the new Urus, the new baby-Lambo and the upcoming fourth model from Lambo. The EV.
Is this the new Corvette or Lambo? 😂😂😂
Aren't the new corvettes ferrari wannabes, liked them much more when they were actually corvettes like the c7 zl1.
So far it looks like a huge downgrade in design compared to the Huracan.
They did just what AMG did with the new C63, and noone is buying that car fortunately, people need to understand they can’t fool customers with this kind of utter crap
That new C63 sound soooo disappointing with it's 4 cylinder hybrid bullshit.
@@DanielSadjadian that’s why they have no sales on it !!! They can’t fool petrolheads with electric gobbins !!!
@@Teethclenser2007 indeed. They ruined such nice a car, what a shame 😰
Nope this car should be less expensive just because it's electric and not gas powered there's no real engine like Lamborghini ...
It has does have a twin turbo v8. Lamborghini just confirmed in their website go check it out
I got a power wheels dat can go faster than this Lambo at taking off and acceleration
Gay. At least make a new V8 for the car, high revving cross plane or flat plane would’ve done just fine.
Another flop
The least excited I've been about a new Lambo
C8 looks better
C8 is trash now 👎🏼 the engine sucks and it’s a wanna be Ferrari … old school front engine corvettes actually meant something now GM just copying to look stylish
I can already see its gonna be better looking compared to his big brother Revuelto.
It's nice looking but unsure of the blinkers
