      i thought a sinnet was something that could be pulled apart, not knotted?

  • @stephenbrayfield4135
    @stephenbrayfield4135 14 วันที่ผ่านมา

    I’ve made four of these. Every one tends to corkscrew a little. I can’t seem to get them flat. For one I used a softer cord. Another was done with 425 instead of 550. I can only get it tight enough to close the knot with the softer chord. All leave a little hole in the center. But how do you keep it from twisting?! I’m not the only one here who’s having this problem

  • @717studioww
    @717studioww ปีที่แล้ว

    Is it normal for it to want to twist? I did the tighter version and I’m having to fight with it to get it to stay straight

    I'm getting into the paracord world, can someone explain me what's the knot and loop thing??

    • @TheWeaversofEternity
      @TheWeaversofEternity  5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Welcome! Knot and loop simply refers to the method used to close the bracelet. So in this case the diamond knot and loop close the bracelet as opposed to plastic buckles.

    Hey Tim, could you do this bracelet in a mad max style?

    • @cosmicbrambleclawv2
      @cosmicbrambleclawv2 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Mad Max style would actually be pretty easy for this bracelet (correct me if I'm wrong Tim)
      When you make that initial loop, make it smaller than shown (just big enough to fit 2 strands of cord through-- I'd recommend having a scrap strand folded into a loop and those ends put through the starter loop so you could pull the working strands through)
      Or (in my opinion the MUCH harder way)
      Work out the slack once you get to desired length and thread your strands through the beginning
      Either way you go, tie a stopper knot or a pull and there you go
