Thank you for your service. This has to be the best cross i seen made with paracord. Most the sides are loose and never fully attached to the middle. Thank You again for making this video. God Bless
Thanks! I'll check it out. Had to give up on the cord I was using as it still had kinks in it from a previous project. I'll try again when I get some straight cord.
Thank you for your post! I've been looking for some instruction but I often get confused. Your vid is a very no nonsense, straight forward approach. Quick, but in such a way that I can follow correctly. Thanks again! M+
useful vdo... i tried it... came well... but the last part, i mean cutting d edge, didnt came well... may b in d scnd cross it vll also... thanx a ton fr this lovly cross...
+William “Mr Bill” Johnson I just finished one I made for my son. Turned out great, and your tutorial was very good, and easy to follow. I would love to learn more, and how to make the clamp board. I have a feeling I will be making more necklaces for my son's Baseball team. 😊 Jesus, and the Cross mean so much! Bless you...
Thank you, very good instructions and easy to follow. I used 550 cord, but I think I might try a smaller paracord, the 550 did not come out as neat. Also, not as flexible to wear as a necklace, the cross kind of hangs sideways. Love the clamp idea, could you show a video on how you made that?
This is the clamp I use: th-cam.com/video/8ospIyoAn-4/w-d-xo.html You can also use a foam macrame board with pins. When the knot is tied correctly all of the force is to the sides and are balanced. So, the force at the holding area is small. The clamp and pins are used to prevent the necklace loop from slipping when tying the second knot and to hold the two halves in place when forming the cross arms. Check out some of the color combinations I've used for different organizations: th-cam.com/video/qtvUNeaCa5I/w-d-xo.html
Hello, I love this video... right now I'm using a clipboard but its almost working... What is the clamp you are using... We can see all of it... Thanks for the video... Kenn
Hello, I'm brand new to your Channel. I want to make a pet memorial for the side of the road. I thought using paracord that I've worked with before would be great because it would withstand the elements. Have you made anything that you could suggest I use in this capacity? I was thinking I could bend a simple cross frame from metal, and then use paracord over it. Any suggestions would be awesome ️ ❤️
Great! Except for tying the second knot for th top of the cross the clamp just holds things in place. I've accomplished he same thing with a heavy book. As for the second knot I spoke of earlier. When tightening it the necklace loop will slip. I've taken a straight pin and put it through the necklace cord, just above the first knot, to allow me to properly tighten the second knot.
Easy to do 😊. im catholic and i have lose my faith in my religion,i respect that just because i was born on them ,grew up , and was educated. And i wont do crosse's for me ,maybe for other person's. Thank you Mr Bill i have tested this knot in type 1 and 550 and its amazing. P.s. do u have a facebook account?
A quick question. Is the cord you use in this video 550 paracord? I've been attempting to follow along but my results end up not being nearly as large as yours. I'm not sure if I'm just pulling everything down to tight or something else.
Hello Chrissie2404 to just make the cross I use 24 inches or 60.96 cm for the top (three snake knots) and one side and then 30 inches or 76.2 cm (using six snake knots) for the bottom and the other side. (one inch = 2.54 centimeters. ....Freedom is not free....

❤❤❤
Hi.. what size of paracord are you using?
In this video it is 550 paracord.
Can you do it without the clamp? I don't have one and it's really hard for me to follow along with you.
+William “Mr Bill” Johnson I will try one of these ideas out. Thank you so much!!
What size paracord?
550 paracord.
Hola que cordon es,

it was a challenge with out the clamp but I did it

is there any chance you could expand your beautiful cross into a complete rosary?
I would start the top like the bottom is started. Then attach it to your beads. I hope this helps.
ok thanks.

Ok,i subscribed at your channel that's not bad 😊
Will this work with a satin rattail cord?
I've tried this knot with all types of cord, string, ribbon and rope. When I could not melt the ends I would use a clear glue to terminate the knot.
You sound like "jhon Locke" from lost
I wish you can make one and send it to me
P.S. Are you using gutted cord in the demonstration?
como ese tipo de trenza
Sí. A mí me parece celta.
the 32 inch loop for the necklace isnt required right? im making this as a keychain
A quick question. Is the cord you use in this video 550 paracord? I've been attempting to follow along but my results end up not being nearly as large as yours. I'm not sure if I'm just pulling everything down to tight or something else.
Can recommend paracord thickness, are you using 550 or the smaller diameter ones? Thank you and God bless you.
550 with the strands. I’ve found melting the ends, so the inner strands cannot slide out, makes a more consistent knot.
