This thing is perfect for a stoic Surfer. The anatomy is spot on. Daniel Bel is a beast. Best in the business. The silver paint is also great. Lots seem to like chrome paint for Surfer, but it loses too much detail for me. This silver is shiny without being distracting, and it reflects light in cool ways. I'd love to see some ambient lighting used for him.

I love the size. In terms of value, Sideshow rocks! Other manufacturers would charge over $1000 for this piece. I also wish it was more dynamic, however it’s a beautiful statue, and I love the light up Nova!
I think my answer says it all............. That piece right there, with the companion piece are what makes me just jaw-drop in awe! That is such a perfect peice for me I would buy in an instant if I had the money. But due to reasons beyond my control(disability), I will never afford in any way, shape or form. So I would say what anyone would say, at the start of a good horror flick........"I would sell my soul for that beautiful work of art & spend eternity in Damnation paying for it" lol! As museum poses go, this looks pretty dope. I've never been the hugest surfer fan but seeing the light glinting off that silver paint app really made me like the piece
Silver Surfer is one of the few that always looks great in a simple museum pose. In the original photos, I always thought the base was done up for show, but they really killed it with the paint job.

My Surfer shipped yesterday and I can't wait to display him next to my Doctor Strange. I was a fan of this one from the beginning. The only issue I had with it was I thought he wasn't shiny enough; much too dull. However they appear to have shined him up a bit without fully chroming him and I actually really prefer this look. As for the pose, I think it totally works for what I think Bel was going for. Seeing Surfer emerging from the portal looking as if he's scouting a new location for Galactus. It's bad ass in my opinion.
Amazing , I would display this with a partial side profile so you can see the back and front of him simultaneously, really brings out the detail of this sculpts anatomy 🔥
OMG, I want this so bad. Silver Surfer has been my favorite character from marvel since I started reading comics so this is a must have for me. Totally love the whole look of this and box. Great review
Good review man. I was a bit let down by the reveal for the same reason that I was expecting something more dynamic, but this grew on me big time! So I picked it up and look forward to getting it!
The box of this statue looks so cool reminds of a silver surfer comic. Statue it self look so dope and awesome the color of surfer looks so real that he just came out of the comic as well as the other herald
Yea I for one like this piece and if you're going to get it, the included Nova with the lighted hair is a must. Love the fact that Galactus made one of his heralds silver and the other gold. Unfortunately if it is just silver surfer by himself it falls short of the wow fealing. He is just not in a very dynamic posse. Although there is nothing wrong with his confident, proud standing figure, it just lacks pizzas. Still he is the one and only Silver Surfer and that's what makes him awesome. They did a great job with the sculpt and paint job being incredibly well done. So get him if you want him.
I can't get enough of Silver Surfer and i do believe there should be more statues of him done by big names. And that box deserved a poster verseio to display behind that piece

Silver Surfer is on my top 10 of statues I need. The sculpt and paint job on this is amazing. I love Nova's light up hair too...perfect glow to it.
