yeah, like me. I've been with 618 Fishing for awhile, but failing health robs me of my strength among other things. When my kidney's are giving me grief I like to veg and watch his videos(I sleep alot), and rest. Resting, light food, lots of water, and 618 Fishing with Nick.

That spillway and creek reminded me so much of the local creeks my brother and I would fish with my Dad while we grew up on a farm in northern Illinois. It brought back fond memories of my youth and the anticipation , hopes of catching a big fish whenever we went fishing. Thanks for sharing.

What a find ! Definitely awesome when you're able to find an unfished area and you have that much success.
This is super awesome! On Monday, I was fishing with my mom when something big (well, big for me) hit my lightweight rod - actually snapped the rod at the base. I wasn't too sad - I had gotten the rod for free. Plus, later, I actually caught the culprit! 2lb catfish, just over 21". Not the best, but my new PB.

I’m a Florida native and you wouldn’t believe the giant soft shells that I have seen. The biggest was in a state park east of Sarasota when I was a kid. We were fishing with a cane pole and at first thought we were snagged and then it rose to the top. The length of the shell had to be close to four feet, sea turtle size. Got a good look before it broke off. This happened in the mid sixties
