Here’s an unboxing and first use of my new BRS 61 all in one integrated camping stove.
It’s a gas stove that is similar to a Jetboil stove, but smaller and much cheaper! Hopefully it’ll be a good budget alternative to a Jetboil… time will tell!

The farting noise is brilliant
although its offset by the lack of the use of the word "the" 🙂
The T3000 is the Terminator of stoves. The one you have is the flatulator.
I have now found a way to make it nest neatly. First modify gas valve handle so handle will fold and rest against valve body. Then place burner in stuff sack and place upside down in pot. Then put 100 g gas canister in suitable plastic bag and place upright in pot with its protective cap removed but placed at side of Lindal valve of canister. Then fit lid and add two elastic bands to secure it all.
I have a few varying stoves... Though I always end up taking my trangia... I have lighter , quicker, more fuel efficient,,, yet they are not as quiet. Iam not in a race when cooking or boiling the kettle. I can go off and do other jobs or just sit listening to nature... Take care out there.
And you can actually cook on a Trangia unlike these which only really boil.

I just bought one thanks totally to this video. If it turns out to be rubbish or my wife finds out... it's all your fault and you will have to live with the shame of that for the rest of your days. That's the responsibility you take on when you do these videos. I have the BRS3000, the lightest one on the market and it is great. I use it with an adaptor for those cheaper canisters (or refill the cans like what you used from them) as I am a cheapskate with too many stoves and a serious problem. BTW, Where's the dog?

@@DaleyOutdoors I now have my BRS61 and I love it. I have put a photograph of you above the shrine in the front yard and line my wife and six kids up four times a day to pay homage. Well I tried but they told me to naff off so I just go to the horse paddock and make coffee while the girls feed their horses (see video on my channel). I have ordered a Campingmoon 35g refillable canister. I can fill it fromt he cheap butane canisters as well as using an adaptor to refill from regualr isowhatever cans. That will fit and allow the lid to sit snug.

I suggest you try other brand of meals also, as those decathlon ones does not seem to suit your stomach well 😂, you got more gas than the canister. Great video and review as always sir. Beans & sausage! 🫡

It looks like an EXACT copy of the Primus lite plus! It’s even got the holes for the screw in lugs to use with another pot.
Shocking that they haven’t even changed the design.
Have not heard of that one so took a look and totally agree. Designs will always be copied and be similar but literally the only thing changed is the brand name.
BRS are Chinese so it will be a copy of something

No. I bought a basic Jetboil (the Zip) and it is quality. I love it. It has over the last two years so far never let me down.
That’s a Primus lite copy. I have one. The connector is superb and really secure.
Isn’t it just - even has the screw holes for the little pan adapter pegs, and the burner seems to behave the same way in use!
OEX heiro is the stove for me. I got it on sale for £30 and it’s perfect for what I need. But looks pretty similar to this for £5 less so good bargain.
Your funniest one yet, I laughed my head off from start to finish. You even had The Muppets making a live appearance. Brilliant!
For a first look, that seems like a great contender to the Jetboil , MSR and other "all in one" boil stove systems out there. There is always a certain use for these kind of stoves (instead of regular gas or alcohol) but for what it needs to do, it seems like a competent piece of kit! I'd be interested to see your long term review of it down the line if you plan on using it more while you're out. Cheers for sharing, James 🙏 💚

Looks pretty much identical to my Primus… so similar in fact I’d be tempted to say they are making the old Primus design from the same parts… hmmm. In which case it should be decent.
I’ve got a minimo, flash etc. both great.
At the moment I’m using a brs titanium stove. Toaks pot, weighs nothing.

Looks a lot like my Primus X lite with the triangular fit and the velcro cover but this has a smaller pot

Proper peaked, nice vista though, and comic noises too, public service films weren’t like this back in the day. Remember “Jimmmyyy!!!”, and his sparky frisbee, much more harsh, if you don’t, I am clearly too old.

Ok even if its not as good as Jetboil but for the price is Jetboil real worth the silly price.
I personally use Trangias cant stand the roar of gas stoves.
Waiting a few minutes more is no deal breaker for me.
Making a cozy for your pot ? 🤪 useful info video . I have a jetboil knockoff from fire maple . It is good very fast but noisy . Scares the bears away where I live in the Carpathian Mountains 🐻

Bit daft that the lid won't close when there is a cannister inside. They didn't think it through did they, didn't think it through. Just needed to be another inch longer... ooo err, more tea vicar!

Looks like removing the orange cap off the gas will make it fit.
It didn’t. I think the Coleman gas is wider and shorter and might fit.
@@DaleyOutdoors Too bad, I had an old firemaple with the 230g cans that only just fit after removing the cap, that lid had a little recess in it that fit the gas just about. Maybe if you could find a collapsable cup that fits on top, that little pour spout gets in the way though.

Can I suggest you take a sound level meter out next time you do a stove test? So we your viewers are reminded with real data how bloody noisy these things are and how much quieter and more serene a Trangia is!

I did yes. No joy. I’m not sure if Coleman cans might be a bit smaller. I’ll try one.

BRS might well sell a few of these as many of the other similar style cook systems don’t seem to go much below 0.8L. Has got me curious. What was with the farting noises throughout the review??

So it’s a Primus eta lite plus clone. This is why I cant buy Chinese. Its morally wrong to buy exact copies of already existing gear.
