    The orange fruit looks like persimmon. Tastes like cantaloupe melon. Persimmons are a tree fruit related to the date plum, the black sapote, and the mabolo.

    Hello WNJ TV station- Really enjoyed the video. Cant believe how fresh, and cheap the fruits and veg are. The friendliness of the people is amazing. I can see how far your $$$ will go here eating a very healthy food. You can practically get most of the daily needs for a ridiculously low price. Thank you again for a very informative video. Cheers!!!

      Prices are relative like the theory of relativity. Funny to you, prices can be terrible for the locals here because most of the locals here can only earn 300 dollars a month.

      @@cookmaster3626 I didn't intend to criticize your comment, it was just to draw attention to the fact that this unfair distribution of income in the world causes some people to live in poverty. I'm Turkish and these prices are pushing us hard. 15 years ago, 1 dollar was 1.5 Turkish lira, now 1 dollar is 14 Turkish lira, it can be easily understood from this comparison how bad our economy is.Greetings from turkey

      @@dogandogan1652 - I fully respect your comment. It is sad that Expats from higher earning countries go to countries like Turkey, Portugal, Spain and find it very affordable and buy up properties and jack up the prices, and cause undue hardship for the locals. I love Turkey and want to visit one of these days, and have colleagues at work from Turkey that are very nice, friendly, jovial and fun to be with. Hope things get better soon. Greetings from USA.

    I love watching you and Julie. This market is really cool. I don't care for peppers either! I have a question for you about the Covid stuff. Do they require you to be vaccinated there? I see some wearing masks and some not. Also the weather there looks to be 4 seasons, am I right? Either way I love to watch you both and will continue to watch. Thank You both for showing what these different countries are like

    • @WarrenJulieTravel
      @WarrenJulieTravel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching 😁
      The population is 93% vaccinated, there is no mandate or vax passports required. There is an HES code needed for public transportation cards, and to enter a mall, but you don’t need to be vaccinated to get it, some have thought this was a vax passport. You need an Antigen test to enter the country and apply for a tourist visa which is about $50 US. Masks are required in malls, grocery stores and public transportation. In public 65% do not wear masks, we did our own non scientific count on the street. If you want to live pretty normal you can, if you wish to live a lock down life, getting boosted, and triple masking that’s your voluntary option also. Additional information if your interested, Denmark, Ireland, Uk, Finland are doing away with all mandates and restrictions in the coming days, with additional countries likely to follow suit soon.

    Hello what do you do for renting for a short term time? I would like to come to Antalya for 2 or 3 months next May 2022. What about prices to rent an apartment 1+1 and 2+1. Thanks in advance.

    • @WarrenJulieTravel
      @WarrenJulieTravel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We typically use Airbnb, just expect to pay 3 to 4 times what a person would pay for rent if it was for 12 months. Staying over a month you can typically get a pretty good discount, compared to daily rates.

    We've heard that you need a PCR test to enter a mall, ride a bus, or board a train. If you aren't vaccinated, can you please give us that information too?

    • @WarrenJulieTravel
      @WarrenJulieTravel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not true, you need an HES code. You do not need to be vaccinated to obtain one, it is a tracking code that’s on an app on your phone, and they just scan the QR code when you enter a mall. You use your code number online to validate your public transportation card. I think it ask for your passport, your name, and your date of arrival. We have had several people believe that they were vaccine passports being used, that’s not the case.

    • @WarrenJulieTravel
      @WarrenJulieTravel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Curious when someone asks a question like this, where in the world they reside? Is main stream TV the main source of news? Any knowledge of the huge Trucker protest in Canada, or the recent demonstrations in EU countries? I’m just curious. Masks are only required on public transportation, malls etc. Most people here don’t wear masks otherwise, we did a count on the street of several hundred people and about 1/3 wear masks. We spent most of 2020 in Ecuador wearing masks and got Covid. Most countries we’ve been over the year have been free countries and are no worse off than the strict lock down countries, you can compare FL or TX to NY for example. Denmark, UK, and Ireland are ending all mandates, Finland and Sweden appear to be ending soon also. We also both have natural antibodies. We avoid this topic due to the massive censorship in the US, Canada, and EU.
