I'm pretty sure Bluey is in the first grade. She attends a Montessori school, which is a school that focuses more on learning through action and exploration than forcing kids to sit at a desk and listen to some adult go on and on about something; a school that focuses more on fostering growth and interests than the rat-race of test scores. My niece goes to one. As children, she and her classmates learned through playing like Bluey and her pals do,. As she got older, the games turned into storytelling, gardening, caring for pets, helping with younger kids and things like that.
I can definitely identify with Bandit not wanting to be late. I get so anxious because I’m not good at judging how much time something is going to take, so I like to give myself too much time, so that I know for a fact that I won’t be late. That way I won’t even feel like I’m cutting it close. Having said that, while they didn’t show it here, Calypso strikes me as the type who would have understood. So I think that was just Bandit-and I’ve seen him worrying about making time in other episodes too.
It might be a Montessori School. It might also explain why a character in a later episode transfers to Calypso’s school, because Montessori school are really beneficial to kids like him. Sorry for being vague. I’m trying to avoid spoiling anything.
I love this episode. It really shows that the cast doesn't realize the strong impact they really have. All the pain, chaos, stress, it shows the reward that this great family doesn't even know they have. How small things have big impacts.
Just as Bandit didn't _have_ to play "Wind-up Bingo" as he was dropping her off, the writers and animators didn't _have_ to include that little photo montage at 17:25. But everyone can agree it was better because they did.
I don't know if anyone will see this but there is a theory going around that magic is real in the Bluey universe. You'll notice that when Bingo first uses the 'wand' and Bandit goes into slow-motion, Bingo gets behind him and uses the wand again. But Bandit doesn't look behind and wouldn't know when to go back to normal speed to slam himself into the side of the car. This isn't the only example of 'magic' in the show, but it is present.
Having just found your channel I'm quite enjoying your reactions and especially the commitment to the fish 😂. I cant wait until you get to the Flatpack and sleepytime episodes
1.) I wonder if Bluey's "Margie" character was inspired by Wendy (because those mannerisms are similar to Wendy).😆 2.) Jumper? They're always naked.😆 3.) Lila is a cutie!😊
My mom worked nights and my dad worked days so i was the one making lunches for myself and my siblings. Dad would drop us off in the morning and mom would get us in the afternoon. When i hit high school i was able to take myself to school, but gor a long time that was how it was. Dad would play the kost annoying music for early mornings. Nothing like Bananarama at 6:45 am.
Oh, another reason they have gluten and nit free lunches is because other kids are allergic to these things. Like Indie can't eat gluten, sugar, things with additives.

I've never heard of Montessori schools! That's amazing! :O
DUDE THAT SOUNDS WONDERFUL😭
I wish I got the chance to go to one
It's more of a Steiner-Waldorff school, I think, but Montessori isn't too different. Except the price; S/W can be over £10k a year lol
That would explain why Bluey is so playtime-fixated. I was wondering about that.
Hmm... I wonder if i could sell my brother on sending his kid to one...
Its also cute that the letter magnets holding the image on the fridge are B & L, Bingo and Lila
Bluey goes to a Montessori school where Calypso is her teacher.
That said, I do wonder whether modern kids would even be familiar with wind-up toys...
Yeah they would

HER LAUGH. *HER LAUGH😭🥰*
Also did they really just sneak in ANOTHER time skip?? I love seeing those!!
They didn't have to include it. Just as Bandit didn't _have_ to wind Bingo up.
But he did. And there were no regrets.

It makes me tear-up. This one simple interaction and they became life-long friends!
Bluey goes to a private school that promotes creativity. You will see grown-up Bluey and her kid in the episode surprise which did not come out yet.

@@MattTOB618 OK i’ll try not to spoil the episodes.

I think Bingo's approach worked because she asked Lila for something very specific.

I didn't know fish could get mosquito bites. Or are allergic to them. I learn so much from this channel.
Calypso is the name of Bluey’s teacher, not the name of her school.
I'm aware of that, I just say Calypso because I didn't know what kind of school Bluey went to at the time lol
@@Reactuna Ah, okay.
OMG!! I miss that voice soooo Much!! 😭 welcome back! ❤ hope everything works out ❤
I thought Bingo would love Daddy Drop-Off
