First, Ari, I'm glad you and the littles are ok. That is priority 1. Second, I'm there with you with Baby Race. My oldest is going to be 18 next May and...I gave her up as a 6 week old because my living situation wasn't appropriate to raising her. I gave her up in an open adoption but never knew if she would want me in her life. When I first saw Baby Race and looked at my two young kids (6 and 4), my first thought was of her. The "you're doing great" became "you're doing great and you did great" because I needed a reminder that I did the right thing almost 18 years ago. She reached out (with adopted parents permission) over a year ago and I now have a relationship with her. But when I first saw Baby Race I couldn't know that would happen. Third, Josh, you and Ari both make awesome content. I would wait as long as necessary to receive a new video from you. Take care of the family. Your fans will always be waiting and we all understand if things get delayed due to outside issues. Take care of yourselves first.
10:48 That's not weird at all. Rusty is one of the best portrayals of positive masculinity I've seen in many a moon. What too many people don't realize about toxic masculinity is that it isn't just any old display of traditionally masculine qualities. It's when the pressure to conform to those qualities causes men to hurt themselves and others.
Another awesome character that has positive masculinity is Kirishima from My Hero Academia. There's a video that goes into depth on how masculinity can be portrayed very positively not only in MHA male characters (as well as the toxic ones) but also in general on how masculine qualities should be portrayed, even if it isn't like that of Kirishima.
Given the chaotic energy she radiates at times, I can also easily see her making Josh cringe by following it up with "This is quite a pickle. Eh? Eh?" I've watched the Gauntlet Dark Legacy highlights videos, I KNOW she's got it in her. XD
They play this on loop at the children's hospital. The only complaint I have is that when I was doing a clinical there, the theme song got stuck in my head for DAYS!!
When I saw the thumbnail my first thought was “OMG THEY HAD KIDS!!!!” And my second was, “Wait. How long has it been since they’ve uploaded?” I’m so glad you guys are doing well and that Ari is recovering. Bluey filled the hole mlp left for me as well, and really helped me learn to empathize with children better. (I never babysat or spent time with anyone else’s little siblings or kids so they’re totally foreign territory for me 😂) It reminded me of my own childhood, and the ways I used to act and how my parents dealt with it cleverly. Family comes first, but if you have any desire to keep making videos, especially on Bluey, we’ll watch!
I just noticed that Calypso blending the games together could be seen as a metaphor on how the purpose of a teacher/mentor is to teach kids how to be self sufficient, how to depend and be dependable so that they can ultimately find the place that suits them better whit their respective differences. And, as someone that is neurodivergent, I really appreciated her letting pretzel rest until he is ready to join and also welcoming him. I had a bunch of teachers that will pressure me to play, enjoy things I didn’t, and will try to encourage me by not letting me play if I arrived to late to the game and by telling me if I complained “you should’ve joined when I told you”. I only learned that I have to let in into social pressure and do things on anyone’s time but my in or I won’t get to do them Ever…Sorry for the trauma dumping but I also Wanted to say THIS episode HELPED ME to work. Anyway I Love Calypso and I wanted to show this episode to some of my friends who are teachers ❤
So glad to see this channel isn't dead. Y'all just introduced me to this Bluey thing, and while it's not my cup of tea, I wouldn't mind hearing more about it... alternatively, feel free to talk about other cartoons as well. I would love to know favorites from the early 2000s Cartoon Network and Nikolodeon.
That point about Bluey filling the hole MLP FIM left behind, yessss. Bluey is totally the spiritual revival of MLP gen 4. Also my favourite episode is Flat Pack, the way they cram evolution, theology and the stages of growing up into one 7 minute segment and how well they are intertwined together, *chefs kiss* genius. Other favourites of mine include; Camping - the tree at the end is awesome, and Sleepytime...I can definitely see why it's so popular.
When you said Bluey is the spiritual revival of MLP FiM 4, it hit hard. I literally just thought of the Firebird segment from Fantasia where the forest spirit turns into water, then revives the whole forest full of life and joy. As if Bluey made the beautiful forest fandom full of awesome things!
The drugs have clearly damaged your brain. MLP is garbage. Bluey is garbage. These franchises and their Fandoms have no right to exist. They have damaged society and punitive measures must be taken against those who made this trash and against those helped propagate it.
Just saw "Sleepytime". Only in a dream can you dive into THE largest, deepest, and most ferocious hurricane known to humanity (or, in-universe, to caninity), and just chillax peacefully. Eeyup. Bingo and Fluffy were genuinely chilly out in the Kuiper Belt*. Of course, during Chilli's speech from the sun, the _Mercury_ certainly rose. ;þ * They wouldn't have gone to Haumea, because then the both of them would probably have been flung off.
Jeez, I haven't been to this side of YT in so long. I'm glad this got recommended, this was a great video! Great to see you guys back with some new flair. Can't wait to see what you have in store. I'm totally here for this new direction for the channel!
Ari talking about grandad hurt but helped for two reasons, one my grandpa is 87 and its a fight to get him to take his health serious. And the other... I lost my mom yesterday to a blood clot from a swollen leg, she didn't see a doctor about it for months and the clot moved so they didn't see it....she was 38. I'm only 19. I know you won't see this but I needed this video thank you
Please make more videos on here!!!!!!! I love you guys and have been a fan for years. I miss the MLP stuff but I've missed you guys even more. Ari, I had to have an emergency c-section 5 years ago and then a full hysterectomy directly after. I know what you went through and I am glad you and the babies are thriving. You're a hero and you rock!!!!
Bluey is one of my comfort shows right now, so it was nice to see what you guys thought of the different episodes. Seeing Josh/Firebrand get so excited about the different episodes was absolutely hilarious. And it was nice to learn a bit more about the two of you and how things have continued for you as a married couple. Something I do wanna say is while I have missed the MLP reviews, as they've helped me through some really tough times, I say that it's okay that you have other priorities nowadays. It happens, life goes on, and priorities change. I would love to see more about your opinions on Bluey, but hey, no rush. Glad to have y'all back though!
As a Mimi with three grandchildren, I absolutely love Bluey. I was introduced to it when spending a LOT of time helping with my granddaughter (who's going on 3 - I can't believe it). Any cartoon that can be just as entertaining for adults as well as kids is genius. It reminds me of the Little Critter books I used to read to my kids. So real and so funny.
Your models as Bluey characters are SOOOOO ADORABLE! Love them and even though I haven't seen the show yet this video has given me a good reason to start. :)
Congrats on the little ones!🎉 Wow it feels like yesterday when you guys were joking about star shaped onesies for potential kids and now you have actual ones. Man I feel old now. 😂 Also loved the “Chaos Muffin”part, I’ve been calling it “How to do a Hangover reference while keeping it G”. 😂

I was just a little kid when I first watched fire brand I found him through his collaboration with silver quill another of my favourites ari has been and always will be the mom I wish I had. And to see you both become parents after all this time warms my heart. So what I'm trying to say is I appreciate the work you have done both on and off the channel and I hope to eventually meet you both one day. Thank you for your videos I wouldn't be here without them. From your recently adult fan Dia
Love the video. And in all honesty, if this is the kind of content you two want to share with us, I’m all for it. I might not be this biggest Bluey fan, but I am a fan of Josh Scorcher and Armau. So do what makes you two happy.
Here's a great usage for this channel, if you two are up for it: Sharing what kind of children's content is of higher quality with other parents/babysitters.
btw, if anyone has issues with them liking Ponies and Bluey, don't let the door hit you on the way out. We may be cringe, but you're mean, and that's worse.
I'm glad you guys are doing well, I loved your mlp reviews and I honestly miss the show and what it had a lot to so watching Bluey has helped to fill the hole that show's end left in my heart. I love your perspectives and I'd love to see you guys talk about Bluey some more, especially since you actually have the experience of being parents and can relate to a part of it that I can't. All that said I'm glad you're all doing well. Thanks for brightening my day an inspiring my next Bluey binge, I've been so busy lately and this was a nice little break from all that to watch.
Please upload whatever you want. I have loved watching you grow as people over the years. From MLP, to seeing Firebrand propose, to hearing that you're doing well as parents. We don't need to hear everything, privacy is important. But hearing how you're progressing as parents or struggles/triumphs. If you're willing to tell the stories, I'm willing to listen.
You're both doing great. There may be books from experts about raising children, but it always comes down to you and your kids. You make mistakes, you grow, you share these precious memories. You're gonna be just fine. :)
Grandad hits my sister differently and she only watched it a few days ago. She said she had to stop watching it with her kids because it made her nearly cry. The reason for that is due to our dad. He only got to meet her son when he was just a baby and never got to meet his granddaughter and to be frank it was because he never wanted to see a doctor. If he thought something was wrong he'd handle it until he couldn't and when he did that.. He couldn't handle it and he ended up being diagnosed with stage four cancer. I can't even watch Grandad anymore without crying. Knowing we could have had more times together and now we can't. It's a hard thing to face in all honesty. "You should take care of yourself for me because, I still need you." Is something I wish I could have told my dad sooner. Maybe he'd still be here if I did. I can relate to parents having you late though. I'm in the same boat as you and my little sister is only three years younger then me. So yeah.. Point is you kinda described why Grandad is such a good episode and I felt the need to comment just because of it.
THIS WAS LOVELY!!! The topic, the handling, the editing, the Blueysonas... so glad you could enter the lovely Heeler universe, this show is indeed a masterpiece! EXCELLENT JOB, MATES!
Oddly enough, I'd be interested in seeing a "Taking Bluey Too Seriously" series. Doing deep dives into various episodes like how Josh used to do with MLP: FiM.
I think my favorite episodes are Keepy Uppie and Copycat. The first one is my favorite because I love how it teaches kids about working together. Plus, I love how even Pat and Lucky join in. As for Copycat, I love how it tackles the difficult subject of losing someone.
To give my final impression on this video, I loved it and would be happy to see more content from you guys, even if I don't think I'll be watching Bluey myself. That said, there are plenty of MLP episodes from Gen 4 that you still haven't reviewed, so there's still plenty of material for you to go back to if you ever want to dive back into the MLP-verse. There's also fanfiction out there you could review if desired. My current favorite is "Manehattan's Lone Guardian," a Megaman Zero crossover featuring a surprisingly balanced mix of both lighthearted comedy, fun classic action, and deep-rooted conspiracy.
Gonna have to give this show a watch. I dont have any kids myself, but I have 2 wonderful nephews and a equally wonderful neice. Sounds like this show may help with ideas of communication with kids. I love them dearly but I dont knownif i've communicated that to trhem. Both my self and my oldest nephew (12) are very introverted. I just hope they know their uncle has their back always. Edit: Also I can already tell Muffin is gonna be a riot.
Based on Josh's warning of making sure that something is legal makes me wonder: Will the two (Josh and Ari) let their kids watch Gravity Falls? "When there's no cops around, anything's legal!" Also that quote became a t-shirt in Hot Topic (not lying)
Can we appreciate how the there is only one episode on both top 10 lists... It really does illustrate the different ways in which this show is great - funny, joyful, relatable, creative, inventive, inspiring, emotional, comforting, considerate and inclusive, a role model, or just having great stories, characteracters and lessons... Some of my favorites that weren't on either list are Flat Pack (which i thought will be there because you played its music in The Show segment... it misled me), Space, Onesies, Rug Island, Copycat, The Creek and Rain. And my favorite of all time si Cricket (yes, I know it' one of the most popular episodes)... speaking of which, I completely agree Rusty is a portrayal of positive masculinity. And I think the biggest reason why I love the episode is not just the varied ways he overcomes the challenges or even the traits connected to them as you've pointed out..., but also the bonds with other characters (4 family members + Jack) that shine throughout. I've already piled up a lot of adjectives earlier, but i don't have a word to describe all that being done in 7 minutes...
One of the best things about Bluey to me is the running theme of "good parenting, even if the kid isn't yours", with the adults always treating the kids with care, confidence and respect. Bandit and Chili parent their kids' friends, Wendy helps parent Bluey and Bingo and Calypso parents all her students. And Rusty ties into the good parenting theme because he's clearly such a healthy example of classical masculinity because his dad and Digger both are and both do an excellent job modeling what behavior is appropriate and how you should treat the people around you.
A good video for a great show. It is a peaceful show with good writing and messages. The lack of a villain isn't really a bad thing. You are welcome to do other bluey content all you like.
I absolutely LOVE Bluey. Do you know how hard it is to find an entertaining kids show that DOESN'T talk down to it's viewers? Thank you for existing Bluey.
Something I wish could be explained to folks around me is stuff Josh dissects in Army about Jack. I have ADD or ADHD, which I never fully know anymore as both were interchangeable by my parents or adult figures. But I feel as though, just because some folks don't have it and can't see the difficulties ADHD brings, I feel alienated from those that I wish could help. I'm currently 33, I'm a messy guy, and *I no longer have direct parental figures to help, lovers, or insurance for medical to get me medicine to help me focus*. I live in a room for rent, and I currently have to try to move out, but my brain... My head and mental disorder make it so difficult. I just... Wish I could easily share this with the likes of my step-grandmother and some coworkers to understand how this messes with me outside of work.
This is a great list. I love all these episodes. Bluey is such a great show. I want to see more Bluey content To Firebrand and Ari "You're doing great"
So ... my wife miscarried our first child. The Outpour of support helped us through it a ton. To have that heartbreak acknowledged through a tv show was amazing. I cannot recommend this show enough. It came out of nowhere to be such a breath of fresh air

10:45 - Not to promote other people's channels, but Jarrod Kimber also goes into depth for this episode for anyone who wants to understand the episode (and a bit about cricket) more. 13:00 - That's the thing about Aussies, we don't sugar coat that bulls**t (though many in the government will try to), nice to see the producers didn't back down with an episode like this; it's a hard lesson that everyone needs to know about real life when they reach adulthood. 15:40 - This is a perfect example of what to do when the previous point (and real life) kick you square in the butt. 17:05 - Truth in fiction can be fine, as long as you don't beat people over the head with it, also learn from history so you don't repeat it. 19:57 - Say it a little louder for the people at the far edges can hear you. Glad to see you are enjoying the series, good to see more Australian representation out there and sorry to anyone who doesn't get any of the Aussie references. (And no, I don't work on the show, Aussie pride vicariously).
I’d actually love to see more bluey content! heck our friends were just comparing MLPFIM to bluey just last week. Seeing videos talking about that and why good writing is good for all ages- especially for families with kids, would be nice to see again on TH-cam, and from you guys 🥰. The moment you had in babyrace, I had a similar experience in the equestrian games episode with spike… totally different situations- but I get that sometimes that’s the magic of these shows. I know that episode isn’t the community’s favorite, but it was so eye opening for a teen that was desperate to prove themselves, but it was never enough and to realize where the problem lies in myself… and why I was giving myself such a hard time & why I needed to prove myself. That moment literally changed my perspective to grow… when I needed it most. Know that we love you guys, and you aren’t alone!
Out of all the things I was expecting to see today, a new FOB Equestria upload was not one of them. And I am NOT complaining whatsoever. When I first heard about Bluey, I wanted so badly to say that it was overrated and not as great as everyone said it was, but now that I've watched a hefty amount, I can 100% say that I was wrong. I like other TV shows more, of course, but Bluey has definitely found its way into my top 20-30. Both of your lists and picks are very great, and so are the reasons for choosing them. And I think I speak for everyone when I say that both of you are gonna be some of the best parents in the universe. I'd love to see you tackle more Bluey stuff on this channel, so if you have more video ideas, by all means make them.
Bluey has been a wholesome little retreat for me in a world where so much is going on. Really happy see you guys talk about it here and definitely looking forward for more.
Welcome back I hope you guys keep making videos here even though MLP ended find a new community obsession and since we potentially have similar interests maybe we can be obsessed together

Personally, I haven't seen Bluey in full yet, but...well, I'll put it this way. Firebrand and Ari make me wanna see for myself. I could use some wholesomeness in the wake of all the....NOW happening.

"ChAOS MUFFIN!!!"....you caught my attention...go on.
You think the studio shook up a Red Bull and gave it to Muffin’s voice actor?

That's not weird at all.
“COCONUTS HAVE _WATER_ IN THEM!” 🤣
I can see vaas from FC3 saying that right before throwing a coconut at someone.

Muffin is the chaos gremlin, and I love her lol
Hey bronies how does it feel to know MLP is over?
You have no idea how much I wanted to see Josh and Ari talk about Bluey.
Kudos to Maddy for designing the vectors, especially for Val and Vel.
Ari gives me the vibe of "Excuse me, he asked for NO pickles"

30:15 it's moments like this in Bluey that really tug at the heart strings that no other kid show would accomplish
Other favourites of mine include;
Camping - the tree at the end is awesome, and Sleepytime...I can definitely see why it's so popular.

Just a show about storge rather than friendship.
The drugs have clearly damaged your brain. MLP is garbage. Bluey is garbage. These franchises and their Fandoms have no right to exist. They have damaged society and punitive measures must be taken against those who made this trash and against those helped propagate it.
Mlp is garbage. Bluey is garbage. Deal with it.
Of course, during Chilli's speech from the sun, the _Mercury_ certainly rose. ;þ
* They wouldn't have gone to Haumea, because then the both of them would probably have been flung off.
Heck yeah!
Really hope that you mention “Baby Race” as a new set of parents
Hope it’s up there. My money is on Army or Cricket being in the top three
Reprobate furry.

It’s my comfort show too!!
Since one of the puppies is named Leela... Is someone behind the scenes a _Doctor Who_ fan?
Also loved the “Chaos Muffin”part, I’ve been calling it “How to do a Hangover reference while keeping it G”. 😂
I don't know what I'm more hyped for, him posting on the channel again or that it's a bluey video
I've missed you guys and this is cute! Would love to see you guys tackle Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel ... when the kids aren't around of course lol.
Those cartoons didn't really grab our interest, so sorry, you won't be seeing much from the Vivzieverse from us!
@@joshscorcher So does this mean more mlp aswell as Bluey content?

Hey so this comment is for ari and brand personally and I hope they see it.. I grew up watching you guys from the first party Howencer shot to the last I've grown up with this channel and have seen it in some very hard times in my life.
Reprobate.
Here's a great usage for this channel, if you two are up for it: Sharing what kind of children's content is of higher quality with other parents/babysitters.
Wow, first time in years that you uploaded a video on this channel, last one was for the MLP G5 movie
They've obviously been busy.

The prodical toon version of josh and ari has returned.
Ooo FOB posted again for the first time in a long time- THEY HAVE KIDS?!
More Bluey-related content would be awesome. Congrats on your kids! :)
So this is what has become of FOB Equestria after the final season of Friendship is Magic, just animation in general. Nice!
18:49 Coconuts have WATER in them!
I loved this episode so much for how chaotic it was and had that quote as my status on Discord for awhile.
Sounds like Babyrace is a must need for any new moms and moms suffering from PPD.
THIS WAS LOVELY!!! The topic, the handling, the editing, the Blueysonas... so glad you could enter the lovely Heeler universe, this show is indeed a masterpiece! EXCELLENT JOB, MATES!
Glad to see you guys back and congratulations on the new family!
Glad to see you guys again, we missed you. Would love to see more Bluey content. Congrats on your growing family.
Oddly enough, I'd be interested in seeing a "Taking Bluey Too Seriously" series. Doing deep dives into various episodes like how Josh used to do with MLP: FiM.
It’s great to see you back to uploading videos again on this channel. Hope to see more of Taking MLP Too Seriously episode reviews very soon.

Folks of quality… I respect that. 😂
NEVER seen Bluey.
Still gonna watch this countdown!
It's a really good show, it's written in such a way, anyone at anyway can enjoy it. And it also addresses topics that kids can understand
You should. I recommend The Weekend or Housework first to get a feel for the show, then watch Onesies.
watch it, you’ll love it
Same
Same. Heard good things about it.
I like how i recently commented on the "Once the upon a Zeppelin" video that this channel hasn't had a new video on it in years and now this happens.
U won't regret it. 1st episode for me was baby race. I cried during a scene in it ( no spoilers tho) and have been addicted ever since
An episode they didn't talk about but is an animation masterclass is Flat Pack. The messaging is amazing
And if G1.5 Miss Hackney or G4 Cheerilee were to catch a foal molester hanging around... well, they each have four built-in blunt instruments.
A good video for a great show. It is a peaceful show with good writing and messages. The lack of a villain isn't really a bad thing. You are welcome to do other bluey content all you like.
I only just noticed Josh is a devil dog in this... and he's a retired Marine.
Bluey is amazing, and Joe is a frickin genius EDIT: Also your dogs OC’s are on point
I absolutely LOVE Bluey. Do you know how hard it is to find an entertaining kids show that DOESN'T talk down to it's viewers? Thank you for existing Bluey.
I thought I would never see the day Josh making puns
The dynamic duo is back in action!! Also, Ari; you're amazing!!! Firebrand, you're awsome!! Thank you for everything you've don't and continue to do!!
This is a great list. I love all these episodes. Bluey is such a great show. I want to see more Bluey content

I miss ya guys so much. Started to get into MLP again, and was watching old FOBs videos.. and wondering, what comes next? So im really happy to hear you guys, and congrats on the family!
And I gather that if Sean Bean ever voices a _Bluey_ character, it'll be the setup for a later episode on grieving?
I just noticed something.
Both of your favorite episodes were the ones where Bandit sang “99 Bottles of Thing on the Wall”.
Funny how Bluey finally made them upload a video on the dead my little pony channel.

The creator of the show actually confirmed recently that Blueys mom did miscarriage before they had Bluey.
Bluey is wonderful. Glad to see new content on this channel!
Welcome back I hope you guys keep making videos here even though MLP ended find a new community obsession and since we potentially have similar interests maybe we can be obsessed together
It’s so good to see them upload on this channel again, it’s been a solid 2 years

I too was surprised at Lucky’s Dad’s rules! Good on ‘em! So much kudos to this show. Also the one with the tablets! So important. I mean we all spend a ton of time on screens, so it’s important to remember there’s other things out there, especially for young kids bc they need that connection and growth.
Personally, I haven't seen Bluey in full yet, but...well, I'll put it this way. Firebrand and Ari make me wanna see for myself. I could use some wholesomeness in the wake of all the....NOW happening.
Bluey is one of the best kid’s shows to come out in years, and it was so fun to hear you two talk about it!
As a Church of England Brit, I'm more familiar with Gustav Holst's Jupiter, specifically the bit played in Sleepytime, as the melody to the patriotic hymn, I Vow to Thee, My Country, often played during the Royal British Legion Service of Remembrance broadcast of the eve on Remembrance Sunday.
Bandit is the kind of father that I want to be.
