The reason D-16(Megatron) let go of Orion Pax(Optimus), was cuz he could not understand why Pax wanted to spare Sentinels life. He most likely thought that his hunch that "no one in Iacon wants to know the truth, they worship Sentinel" was proven truth by his brother. He wouldn't save him from getting killed trying to defend the betrayer. Then the way he looks at Sentinel, that is resentment and hatred dialed to 16. You can almost hear "look at what you make my friend do, look at what you made me do", the sheer wrath of realising there was still something for Sentinel to take from him. I really, really hope the sequels(crossing fingers) go towards a Megatron redemption arc. If he stops being a hater, he will realize that: 1) Optimus spared his life, and gave him freedom in a dangerous but enegon rich Cybertron where they could thrive albeit in struggle. 2) He not only has to lie to validate his cause against Optimus, but will inevitably be surrounded by every evil and corrupt Cybertronian who served Sentinel. He indeed is set on a path to be like Sentinel, and surrounded by everyone he hates. 3) Optimus did not try to save Sentinel, he wanted him to face justice so not only Cybertron would start a new page on better grounds, but give all Cybertronians closure. I would love a Megatron redemption arc. the scene where D16 drops Orion I was just wishing that they had finished their conversation before the High Guard had captured them. in real life, bros will always have a clash of opinion, but most of the time they can be solved with a genuine conversation. orion and D16 needed that private conversation so badly but it was too late. hate had taken over D16's heart by then. but maybe in the sequels, a moment can be found to have the conversation. ( a lot of films end in tragedy so i'd love for them to actually take a positive direction with this one) but another thing I do want from the sequels i Starscream, Shockwave, and Soundwave to be cool asf (might require some evil lol)

There’s 3 Things I have to clarify, 1. I’m ok with the Quintessons not showing up, I’m aware how much of a Threat they are but the whole point of this Movie is how Optimus Prime and Megatron began the Formation of the Autobots and Decepticons, IF the Quintessons had appeared more often it would ruin the Film and we won’t get any Sentinel Screen Time, 2. Elita wasn’t the one that had the Idea of using Arachnid to Expose Sentinel, It was Orion who did a Quick Thinking when Arachnid said “I can see Everything” showing how Clever Pax is with his Sharp Edge and Mind, and 3. Bee was done good enough, I get that the Character didn’t evolve but Bee has done Well Enough, his presence is literally the Beginning to Pax and D16’s Journey to who they are destined to become as it was a Red Flag when they found out that there’s 50 Sub Levels instead of 40, his Creation Steve has the Map, and while I thought he was going to ruin the Movie with the Comic Relief I’m surprised there’s Layers of Humanity especially when Sentinel captures him and Dee and Dee stood up when Bee didn’t want him to stand up because he doesn’t want to see his Friends Hurt, like the Quintessons I’m pretty sure Bee will Develop especially when he losses his Voice in the War, anyway this Movie was amazing, not only is it one of the Best Movies of 2024, but it’s clearly the Best Transformers Movie of all Time, the Voice Casting was Great, the Story with the Evolution of Optimus Prime and Megatron is Interesting and Heartbreaking, Sentinel Prime is one of the Best Modern Villains in a Long Time that he’s definitely giving Homelander Vibes, and the Animation and Setup are Flawless, 10 out of 10, I’m hoping this gets a Trilogy because it deserves it and I would love to see more content from this and the Franchise.

They were made distinct, given special powers and tasked with birthing new Cybertronians and protecting Cybertron. Orion Pax was not a prime, he ceased to exist when he became a prime. From that point on, there was only Optimus who is a chosen prime of Primus.

I just discovered your channel and I’m not sure if you react to shows but you should definitely watch Transformers Prime. It’s similar in tone to Transformers One and the music director is the same for both.
Funfact: Marvel Comics created the story and setting of the Transformers franchise for Hasbro combining two pre-existing japanese toylines (Diaclone & Micro-Man... both of which were descendents of the G.I. Joe toyline's long struggle to survive in Japan). Marvel would also work along with Hasbro in the 80s to make other toylines like 'Visionaries' and Rom: Space Knight.

24:33-4:41 I have to respectfully disagree there. Optimus Prime's core belief has always been that everyone has the right to freedom. It makes sense that he'd be willing to bend or even break rules in favour of doing what is right (like going back to save Jazz). Megatron OTOH is a rigid authoritarian. You should watch tf prime it a separate universe from the life action movie and this one they are all different universe. Bee friend Steve is a reference to a low ranking con in tf prime that the community name he like the bots alpha trion killed and is always getting destroyed in the series if I am not wrong. T cog allows transformer to transform so that why OP and the other are using hand held weapon instead of the hand cannon sentinel has cuz they can’t transform anything. Using their own weapons also take up more energon that why most of them use normal guns. And megatron kinda snap when OP said don’t be like sentinel that cuz his best friend compared him to a guy that basically created racism by taking out a piece of them before they were “born”. Haha, here’s a neat fact: Megatronus Prime and The Fallen are the same character. In about every continuity Megatronus is known to be the traitor of the Primes. However, in this movie he is good this time.

Funfact: Marvel Comics created the story and setting of the Transformers franchise for Hasbro combining two pre-existing japanese toylines (Diaclone & Micro-Man... both of which were descendents of the G.I. Joe toyline's long struggle to survive in Japan). Marvel would also work along with Hasbro in the 80s to make other toylines like 'Visionaries' and Rom: Space Knight.

If you liked Tf One you could check out the pilot episodes of Transformers Prime (Tf One took a ton of lore elements from TFP, and from the continuity Transformers Primes takes place in; like the lore of the Primes, Megatron's and Orion's friendship, the Cybertronian class/caste system, Starscream's backstory etc)
Also TF One's backstory of Optimus and Megatron is a amalgamtion of several different origin stories they had troughout the years. (Megatron's low class D-16 mining bot origin is from the IDW comics, Orion/D being sworn brothers and fighting against a Sentinel's corruptgovernment/class system is from the Aligned continuity, Sentinel's design, B's knife hands are all refrences to TFA, The Quintessons is a lore elment from G1, just like cogless transformers unable to transform doing slave labout for the Quintessons etc)

you should definitely watch Transformers Prime series its 3 season long but it explores more about the depth of transformers and is lil darker compared to rest of the animated transformers shows. Trust me you’ll love it

24:33-4:41 I have to respectfully disagree there. Optimus Prime's core belief has always been that everyone has the right to freedom. It makes sense that he'd be willing to bend or even break rules in favour of doing what is right (like going back to save Jazz). Megatron OTOH is a rigid authoritarian. Of course he'd be inflexible and a "by the book" type, even before his fall.

You should watch tf prime it a separate universe from the life action movie and this one they are all different universe. Bee friend Steve is a reference to a low ranking con in tf prime that the community name he like the bots alpha trion killed and is always getting destroyed in the series if I am not wrong. T cog allows transformer to transform so that why OP and the other are using hand held weapon instead of the hand cannon sentinel has cuz they can’t transform anything. Using their own weapons also take up more energon that why most of them use normal guns. And megatron kinda snap when OP said don’t be like sentinel that cuz his best friend compared him to a guy that basically created racism by taking out a piece of them before they were “born”. And apparently when OP said he was banished megatron had a flicker in his eye and apparently tears so even at the end D-16 was somewhere in him. Last thing, can we appreciate how Chris voice sounded more like petter Cullen at the end shows the effort they put in
I heard someone else say that in another video that you could see Megatron a crying a little bit. Yeah and Chris sounded a lot like Peter Cullen when he gave his speech at the very end.
