Thanks, it helped a lot when I switched my standard windows with the optional soundproof doublelayer glass. You could just slide them in, only difference is that they have two plastic parts glued on them at the lower end, but you just leave them on there and put the windows in right away. I didn't lubricate the moldings though, wasn't really necessary as the car was just one year old.
I am planning on swithing my standard windows with the optional soundproof doublelayer glass. Did You have any problems ? Are you sure you don't have to switch also seals or something ? Is the thickness of standard and doubleglass the same ? Is it much less noisy inside the car now?
@@adriano.8508 It's a bit better with the doublelayer glass, but don't expect too much. The change is plug & play, no need to switch any other part. It's really simple to do. The seal is the same with both window versions, so you don't have to change them. The thickness is the same
@@Mr_Blond hi, Im looking for guide how to remove it to replace door handle led exactly. Do you have any guides? Removing door panel is easy but what next, how to remove inside panel?
@@robert02588 I've looked into this mate,I cant find any videos, but it's the door card off, door handle off (external) then lower glass and remove. Then apparently you can unscrew the inner panels to get to the led. It sounds like a ball ache to do. I've left mine for now, ridiculous for a led replacement
@@Mr_Blond Just did my wife's rear door LED and it took me 1:40 to complete. My 2nd one I could probably do in about an hour. LED part, which has been updated, is $30. Dealers charge roughly 3 hours labor, which seems fair after having done it myself.
Awesome content. Really helped me after some junkie smashed my window and didn't have the time to wait for Merc stealers to fit me in after 14 days
Danke das war sehr hilfreich

@@sergeant_cross_ ok. Thanks for the info. I guess I will give it a try, order doubleglass and switch it myself.
