Wow, thank you so much for reacting to my video and supporting this project and all of us on the team! Something I wanted to mention is that this is still a beta in development. We've already improved the animations, and soon we'll try to extract those from the original game to make it as close as possible to what Twinsanity truly is. This remake aims to reintroduce deleted content, but for now, the focus is on programming the mechanics. It's still in beta, but we'll improve everything we can. Thank you for the video! It was really great, I loved it!
I know this is far into the future but what will this be released on? Like I’m sure it’ll be on PC but do you guys have intentions of releasing somewhere specific
Thanks for your hard work, Luke! Really appreciate sharing all this information and making the videos over the past year showing off this project. Can't wait for future updates!
Twinsanity was never bad in terms of the next step in a Crash game. It just needed the proper polish. I remember your playthrough and so many things were there but simply not completed.
Hey im one of the project's artists, and i have to say a big big thank you, we're also needing extra helo since we're a small team, it would take an eternity to finish this project but im really eager to see the future of this project! We are already counting on a VA team, the music samples got extracted, with some composing knowledge you can make an entire new song Happy 20th Anniversary, Twinsanity i guess, its almost there
I really love this project you’re cooking! Thank you for bringing back crash twinsanity with improvements! I hope it succeeds and becomes a fully finished masterpiece!
Twinsanity was and is one of my favorite video games, honestly ever. I didn't always have the money for new games, so when I got this game for Christmas in 2007 with The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night, I had such a great time. I also have memories of playing this on my PS2 in the refurbished basement at the Alabama house owned by my Nana. She passed away last October, and when I made a speech about how I remembered her, I mentioned all the good times I had there, playing with my cousins and brother and sister down there, then going up to find she had made snacks for us. So, seeing a new version of this game is just awesome, and it looks amazing.
That’s amazing …. I am also an author of a similar project but on time splitters ... I left the boat because I thought music was too important in addition to sound effects .... I would like to understand how he played the original music! I have a lot of creativity but without the original music I can't move on…I don't understand why no one makes an obviously official remake on this Crash .... There is really a need for the franchise
this is awesome, I hope the developers of crash twinsanity see this and help the guys or support, I saw in some news in the past that some developers would like to do a remake of the game, I love the crash community and I love twinsanity and the Developers have a much greater love for the game! I really hope they see this project!
@CrystalFissure awesome, I live and breath all things Twinsanity, so seeing this makes me so happy, if only we had more concept are of Cortex Chaos, in the future you guys could do the canceled sequel where crash gets sucked into a TV and goes through different shows as an idea.
This and Jak and Daxter were IT as a kid. Man I miss these types of games, they are so visually unique and pleasing to the eye, it's almost comforting to look at them. These days I need at least 12gb of VRAM to play fucking Ratchet and Clank with how much clutter is on the screen. I mean yeah I love Ratchets ultra realistic fur as much of the next guy but my PC is dying out here.
The current lighting looks great! The lighting & camera really make the environments look the way they do in the original FMV cutscenes. Should the remake advance beyond the original models and textures and such, hopefully this iteration of the lighting, modeling, & texturing is preserved as an extra Retro Mode. Loving the game's look and progress!
I sitll play it on my PS2 at least once a year. This and DMC3 where my happiness back in the day... Good luck with this project. ❤❤❤ You are doing God's work.
One of the 2 games that desperately need a fan remake. The other one is Jak & Daxter The Lost Frontier. There WAS a promising project for TLF, but the devs went dark mode one day. Whether they quit or not, remains a mystery.
@@CrystalFissure No, their Discord server just disappeared one day, or they kicked out every non-developer (which included me). I did save their replacement script, and a 2 3D models (screenshots of models) that were humorous, of Jak in TLF getup. But the script part is probably not okay to share in care the project is not actually dead. Or maybe it is okay to share, and my moral logic needs a tune-up.
I'm wondering if Coco Bandicoot will be playable in this Crash Twinsanity Infinite remake game and also if Evil Coco will finally be able to appear in it b/c she was a cut removed character from Crash Twinsanity itself.
Crash 5 will likely be an open world, but whether it will surpass the open world of Twinsanti, who knows, I wonder, but for myself, I think that Crash 5 will be the same as Twinsanti, but in a different way. It is similar to the Marvel world, how when a world ends, they remake it with different events, the matter ends with the same result.
In this game will the scrapped concept be added because the were some trouble behind the scenes thats why they weren’t added if they do get added that would be sickkkkkk
I'm gonna be honest here, sorry for being "that guy", but I think would've been wiser to not share info about this project until it was completed. Several Spyro fan games have sadly ceased development out of fear after Cyreides got struck by a C&D from Activision. I could be paranoid, maybe Microsoft won't be so strict, but personally I would thread more carefully. You can never tell with big companies.
Activision never cared. Not a single Crash/Spyro fan project has been DMCA'd. I assume Microsoft is the same because I haven't heard of any specific cases either. Of the big 3 console makers, I think Microsoft is the most relaxed with this type of stuff. Thankfully the IP isn't owned by Nintendo.
I understand the concern but the original videos about this have over 10k views collectively, and there's a Crash fangame out there right now called "Back in Time" that has literally thousands of fan-made levels in a Crash level maker available and it hasn't been touched. As well as 10 levels that are using textures from the original Crash 1-3.
Please could you remake the soundtrack ? Because this soundtrack is the worst thing I ever heard, is like being raped in the ears during all the game… Making the music with voices is an absolute horrible idea. It really ruins the game.

Also, that playthrough graphically didn’t look great either. No shadows and stuff like that. So I’m keen to play it again.

Definitely!
i genuinely love the crash and spyro community. yall are so awesome for putting all this effort into my favorite games. this is so fking awesome
Always great to see Twinsanity get some love!
Always! That reminds me, probably need to finish that old live stream LP of the game.. save file's probably gone though sadly.

Thanks for showing this off lad, had no clue this even existed! Looking forward to playing the demo!
Neither before yesterday! Keen to play it.
Sounds like we'll get to experince Twinsanity as it was always meant to be. Very Nice!
4:34 they can always commission people to do voices.
Very good point! I’m sure there are some accurate voices out there. Only difficult thing is the Twinsanity cutscenes were quite stylised.
Oh, you again lol
Or maybe they could do some AI voice cloning or something like that
The graphics for the current progress of the fan game reminds me of the pre-rendered cutscenes for Twinsanity. XD
Incredible Crash Bandicoot Twinsanity Fan-Game Remake or Re Imagine
I guess reimagined is the better word, but using a lot of the existing materials.
That’s awesome, crash, twinsanity is it child of classic of mine

This is exactly what I've been asking for, you are single handedly making my dream come true, you could even put Lava caves in as an unused level.
Would love to see Lava Caves included, and I think it will be.

Still a lot to be done on the animation department. The running loop especially looks like... well, a loop.
For sure. The original video mentions they are looking to get the original animations to use and optimise.

If this become a much bigger and longer game, it will be easily the best crash game and i say that as a big fan of the Ps1 trilogy
I hope the unused content is added. There was so much cut from the game that it's screaming for a remake.

I love this game more than I love myself
Oh, this looks really promising.
I'll admit though, I prefer the older running animation. Seemed more bouncy, like the original.
Animations are still being worked on so expect it to evolve and change.

looks like the same to me , or a little modded to make it look more clear if that makes sense ? idk but an official remake would be unreal
