    Nice job on your Mustang. I own two. A V6 2.8 '74 Fastback I bought in in 1981, was my first car. Now sports a 69 4V 351 with a 4 spd top loader behind it. And a '77 Cobra II, black and gold in colour, engine less yet at this point. I love the look of your coupe.

      Thank you very much for your compliment of my work.
      My Mustang II V6 is supposed to get a V8 engine, I'm already looking for a Vox body with a bad body to get an engine with a gearbox. ;-)
      Cobra is of course the most beautiful model of the II series.

      @@MustangGrabberOrange Luckily you own a '75-78 model which were modified from the first year '74 to have a little more room length wise to accept a V8. They moved the radiator support a little forward and made the nose of the car a little thinner, that's why your hood edge on the front is not a straight line like the 74 model. Fitting a V8 is still somewhat of a chore in the later models. They had special cast iron exhaust manifolds that had a long extension on them to connect to the exhaust pipe down by the bell housing. They used to make tube headers for the 75-78 swap but I haven't seen any in years. Even so I never saw a decent set of headers that fit well on that swap. I have built custom build exhaust systems for a living for 38 years and if we count muffler replacements I'm over 60,000 jobs so I've seen a lot. My 351W in my 74 required a 4" notch back of the firewall and I'm currently building my 4th set of headers as I haven't been happy with the previous three sets.

      Hallo Schau dich doch einfach mal nach einem Federbauer in deiner Nähe um, ich hatte bei Federn-Oßwald nachgefragt, diese hatten mich zu einer Firma, die für Oßwald die Federn herstellt, weiter geleitet. Ich hatte die gleich straffer und höher gewählt, fährt sich klasse. Ach, die originalen Dämpfer passen nicht mehr, sind arg zu kurz, du brauchst Dämpfer vom Mustang III (Vox 1985).

    10:17 . How is it that a small block Ford Windsor has its distributor at the BACK of the engine by the firewall ??? It should be at the FRONT of the intake manifold by the radiator !!!!

      You may not like these, but they're not the shoddy originals.
      I have carefully adapted these "replicas" and now they fit better than the grumpy originals, now they also stand in the line of the car and do not hang down so carelessly ;-)
