longtime viewer that never comments, but i’m approaching my ten year anniversary of being vegan this year and you had to be one of the first if not the first vegan channel i subscribed to. thank you for the years of awesome recipes and product recommendations, i can’t wait to try this!!
I made wellington for my parents and bf and we were all so shocked at how much this seemed like meat! They all eat meat and said if they had this in a restaurant, they would be fooled and definitely think it was meat. When cooking it, my house smelled amazing! I was a bit freaked out at how realistic this looked and it even had a somewhat 'bloody' liquid on my cutting board after I cut it lol. I am used to cooking beyond and impossible and seeing them 'bleed' while cooking, but this was different where it just 'bled' while cutting and not really while cooking. I was so excited to see a plant based steak product! It wasn't consistent with filet mignon though, it's more like corned beef or pulled pork, but still delicious and very meaty and filling. It's a bit salty so I would not add any extra salt and go easy on any steak seasoning then test it and adjust to your liking. You can always add more afterwards. I want to try many things - a roast or stew, pho, pasta sauce, gyro, burrito, corned beef, pulled pork, etc. You can do so much with this and you can buy it in larger quantities to save money. They are definitely worth the money because if you bought meat it would still be expensive (everything has gone up crazy in price these days), especially if you ate at a restaurant, and it would be a lot less healthy and you would be contributing to horrific animal torture and killing and also the destruction of the planet. When I run out, I will buy more when they are back in stock or try their new secret product if it's available! It looks like it's going to be a large steak or prime rib. I wonder if it will have any different taste or texture...
Great to see you and Craig together again. That steak looks very "steaky", and it did get a nice sear on the outside. I know you said it was delivered, but where did you order it from?
Lmfao🤣🤣 the intro was hilarious! I love when you and Craig do videos together. The juicy marbles steak looks really good 👌 it is very "fally-aparty"😂 you could do alot with it like shred t for tacos or burritos, lots of possibilities. The cookies look good as well. Fun video Chris and Craig 🌱🙂💚
No matter what you say to vegan vegetarian’s about why you would want to eat something that looks like meat; they aren’t going to accept it. Because their ego identity and self-worth are the position that they’re moving from, and not this is yummy has great texture and it’s made from good products. I’ve been vegetarian since I was three when I discovered where meat came from, and I definitely will eat anything that’s yummy without meat in it. And yes (if you’re an angsty meat eater) I know things have to die for me to eat them even if they are plants. but they should be happy because I might be eating them otherwise As one animal is no different from another to my stomach :-).
Hi there, I'm a new subscriber and love your posts. I have a question for you. May i ask how old were you when you stopped eating meat and why? Thanks for posting and take care. Love from Scotland 😊👋
I can’t stop laughing. You two did such a great job. I’ve heard good things about Juicy Marbles and I follow them. Haven’t tried the product yet though. They might be sold out right now. Glad you two liked it. Cookies looked good too. Well done 👍🥰
Thank you Chris, The Vegan Zombie and No Egg Craig ~ always fun , playful and informative together! This looks like it deserves a try. It would probably be great on the grill or wrapped in pastry dough ~ aka Wellington style! Namaste 💜☮️🕊️
Wow…they are sold out! I’m really looking forward to trying this when it’s back in stock. They also have two “mystery” items that are coming soon… **cue suspenseful music**
Juicy Marbles might be expensive, but you're acting in this was PRICELESS, Chris 👌 Awesome to have Craig in one of your videos again. And that steak looks delicious 😋
@Addison Alter that is a fair point. When considering the true cost in that context it's not that bad. I guess it's just slightly expensive when compared to the traditional vegan staples we all thrive on.
YAY Dyanamic Duo is BACK!!!!! Wow that plant steak (pleak?) looks amazing 🤤 OH I LOVVVVE that shirt, Chris! You are selling them, yes? Good to see you back, Craig! Thanks, guys!!
Stumbling across this this is wonderful I need to get some of this there's a local vegan grocery store here that had some but obviously they sold out. I'm going to sprouts right now to try to get a vegan entree I'm trying to get my wife to eat more plant-based and she's actually inspired to do it because she's got high cholesterol so this is wonderful and I'm excited.
I'm kind of torn about trying this product. I like to try new things (vegan things), but I never liked steak. 🤔 Maybe it's worth trying at least once? Thanks for the review!
It's a little disturbing how real some things can look. Though I do know a meat eater that loves pull pork sandwiches so maybe I'll see if this will work. Good suggestion. Great video.
Yeah sandwich sounds good. Eating it like you did I’m guessing is the worst way to eat it (?). The thing with these is unless it’s really close then a meat eater sing gonna go for it so it ends up just being for vegans which doesn’t help much if the goal is to save the planet. But it’s still a great thing to have. Won’t get any progress if companies don’t try. So props to Juicy Marbles. Will buy if I see it.
For myself its about flavour profiles and texture. So why shouldn't vegans have access to both of those meat-like attributes but in a plant based form?
Hi Jayesus Zerus, not Zeus, I watch your videos so-so often while eating breakfast and usually Lunch, and my now has a oblong bump the size of a quarter on it. I was doing it for a while. I used to play a lot of video games on those NAMCO machines. (Computing I mean.) There is no way Nature or MY BODY could do that or not really sure how to overcome evil. now
Nice! I have never heard of them before. I typically don't eat vegan meat since I don't usually like it very much. This however looks worthy of a taste test for me too. You both always have great suggestions. Like many Vegans I get asked if the plant based meat tastes the "same as the real thing". I always tell them the point of plant based meat is not to be exactly like meat, but to give you an alternative that is similar enough to satisfy that mouth feel and taste-ish of non plant based meat.
This is how I look at it. The point (for me) is to make a “good enough” that you don’t miss what you used to enjoy, but not so close that you have to sit and concentrate to know whether or not your food is cruelty free
Very funny 😂😂😂😂video with you’re friend. The product you taste tested looked like cookie dough before cooking. I do not make mind to negative comments about vegan faux meats.
I don't think I could eat that. Too much like a cut used in boeuf bourguignon. Cookies, tho... and Hey Craig. What is your toaster, convection oven, brand? What is the inside measure, and what do you think of it? Maybe a review???
Love your channel. You should see the nasty videos “guga foods” did about vegan wagyu and vegan steak. Their behavior is outrageous and they’d rather use dead animals that a plant based steak. Their arrogance knows no bounds.
Lol 55 dollars for a processed rolll of soya, you people have totally lost the plot, think hard before spending your hard earned money on junk food like this
Of all the shapes to make your "fake meat", these companies CHOOSE the shape resembling meat. How many meat companies shape their meat to look like veggies?

Congratulations on ten years. 🎉
Amazing 👏🏻👏🏻

Where do u buy it?
Bahahaha that opening was priceless 😂😂😂😂.
Though I haven’t eaten meat in 51 years, I know that that “fall-aparty” aspect is what a pot roast does.
So nice to see you and Craig working together again! I tried to order a Juicy Marbles loin or cutlets but they are SOLD OUT!
Great to see you and Craig together again. That steak looks very "steaky", and it did get a nice sear on the outside. I know you said it was delivered, but where did you order it from?

Miyokos BEST vegan butter 😋
I laughed my butt off when you put your hand on the cast iron!! That is, once I realized you didn’t actually scorch your hand.

He was 14 I believe and he just never really liked meat or cheese, he became vegetarian and he has been vegan for 29 years😊
This vid 🙌 humor is so on point 🎯 love it!!!

Why were you laughing? Did something funny happen?
So true- more sense to grind the plants into something like that then the alternative!!!
Thank you Chris, The Vegan Zombie and No Egg Craig ~ always fun , playful and informative together!

yvlani, yes, this would be perfect for a wellington!👌👍

What is the protein source this is made from? Is it gluten?
Soy and wheat

We are living in a time where we can 3d print vegan steak... this needs to be heavily supported immediately!
Much love Chris 😋💚👍🏼
So Rachel moves out and Craig moves in?
The beginning 😂 I’m dead
The comedy was strong in this one! 😂😂😂💚💚🥒🥒
Love this 😍🌱

When you were saying about the box I was like please please say something about the zombies
And you did!!!
❤❤❤❤
Awesome video!!! And looks delicious 🤤
Wow. Looks great. The cool thing, you can eat with your hands without worrying about spreading corpse-borne pandemic diseases.
I do believe what you’re trying to say it falls apart like is.. tenderloin 😂 y’know, like what it’s supposed to be replicating? Lol, love the video
This is totally up my alley. I loved Filet mignon when I ate meat
😂 Love it
I'm kind of torn about trying this product. I like to try new things (vegan things), but I never liked steak. 🤔 Maybe it's worth trying at least once? Thanks for the review!
😆 Loved this
Btw... the only meat that falls apart is pork done in a slow cooker. Steak does not fall apart. Lol
No seasoning on the steak? 😢
JUICY MARBLES in Tesco for Veganuary....
The opening gives me telenovela vibes! 😂
It's legit and top quality. I got feedback from meat eaters and they were all over it.
It's a little disturbing how real some things can look. Though I do know a meat eater that loves pull pork sandwiches so maybe I'll see if this will work. Good suggestion. Great video.

Make vegan a-1 sauce.
A1 is vegan.
'Its not gmo!' Cuts plastic into the fake meat. Priorities.
Looks like corned beef
Ew. Looks dry and looks nothing like a steak or cooks like a steak or change colors and why does it look burnt and orange

Pretty sure it's more weird to make something that looks like meat than to just eat meat.
But if we are the weirdos eating the meat.....why are you pretending to be a weirdo eating plants and nuts that look and taste like meat??
fantastic beard
