I appreciate you showing another vegan option - especially one that’s easy! We all have days where we don’t want to/don’t have time to cook...but based on the price point and portion size, I think I’d rather have something from Amy’s or gardein. 🤷🏻♀️ Thank you for sharing! 😊

I’m salivating. They all look so good. I AM a vegan on a budget and can make them all myself. But this is perfect if you don’t like cooking and it’s within your budget.

Well I thought the same thing at first but they did fill me up.
To make it more substantial I add a sweet potato or broccoli.
I've purchased from them for about a year now, very convenient and flavorful if you're limited on time and health conscious.
Expensive?
Everything looked good, but I make red curry and other fresh meals often and can’t afford a shipped meal plan. Thank you for sharing!

I like Veestro. The South Indian Coconut Stew, Red Curry & Mushroom Risotto are my favorites 👍🏼
I'm a Veestro regular. I like them because I exceed my nutritional needs through a variety of food types and vegetables. This is difficult for me to do if I cook myself. The cost is a major turn off but for now the benefits are worth it. Thanks for the review!!

Rewatching because the food looks so good
I copy a lot of the vegetarian meals from the major providers of home delivered meals and it works well for us. Sometimes the lack of exact measurements are a challenge since I am not actually ordering the meals, but I can usually make it work even with substitutions (e.g., vegetable broth for chicken broth, etc.). Tonight we did a loaded baked potato chowder adapted/inspired by Every Plate and it was delish.

I just don't understand when people say they don't cook. Why? If you're physically not able, sure. But if you're lazy or too tired, there are remedies to that. The reason I'm posting this comment is because it seems people as a whole are becoming increasingly larger consumers. That means more waste. We need to be moving the other way toward zero waste
Hi...i think the idea is really good minus all the plastic, etc....Also, for me the portions are much too small, although it's good to hear it' tastes really good.....i may write to the company about their portion size........Thanks....
If I saw these in the grocery store for half the price they are asking I would try them. Also, the servings look too small for the price in my opinion. I do wish them the best though 👍 Thanks for sharing ♡
My complaint with meal kits and TV dinners not enough veggies on the side or to much starch.
I'm not the biggest fan of frozen meals but those do look good.

We tried these and didn’t like any of them. Even the pizza was bad. Wasted so much money. If you’re wanting a meal you don’t have to prepare, gardein makes some that taste good and are way cheaper.
Agreed. Didn't like it and it was really expense. And got a surprise second shipment (with no notification) six days after my first... despite being on what I thought was a four week schedule.
Mostly agree. A couple of them are really good, but most of them are pretty nasty.
How much
I've tried this twice, but there are only about 3 or 4 meals that taste well enough to eat again. It was such a disappointment. I wish that Daily Harvest, and Revive had more actual meal options.
I haven't tried all of what they have to offer but hands down every one I tried in this video were amazing as you saw.
@@TheVeganZombie I did tho each one you had I tried too. I only liked the chicken dinner. All of the others were horrible. Glad you enjoyed them. I ended up having to add ingredients/spices/sauce etc to them in order to enjoy them. Which defeats the purpose. If I'm going to have to cook. Then it might as well be an entire meal.

They have different meal plans, this was the Chef's Choice. All amazing. Yeah, there is about two weeks in between when I opened the package and finished the taste test.
The prices are insanely expensive.

I bought these when they had a sale on them. I thought they were way to salty and some of them weren’t very good at all. Very expensive, I wouldn’t purchase them again. I hope you have a better experience! 🎃😊 oh and don’t microwave them, the oven helps A LOT haha

Definitely not bland, to me they were salted just right and all tasted amazing. Yeah, I didn't microwave them either.
These look about like Amy’s but much more expensive. I think th veestro are about $11.70 each while Amy’s are about ) $4-$6. Same size. I wish Amy’s delivered!

That was like 2 weeks. I ate the meals in the span of about a week but I opened the package a week prior.
I've had VEESTRO auto-delivery for 2 weeks before canceling. To be very honest I found the meals to be very one note and bland, despite the enticing names they give them.
Not sure what ones you had. They have different plans, like chef's choice, a la carte, weight loss. The meals I ate were anything but bland as you saw in the video. It's been a while since I had them before this video so I can't recall if any seemed bland before. But not these.
I tried Daily Harvest and don’t care for any of the food except the smoothies, ice cream and lattes. I’m fearful of trying Veestro, it’s all more expensive than shopping for food in a grocery store.

Seems like a sales pitch too me. Processed food isnt what I'd call cooking. Cutting up veg, and making rice isnt hard
Chris is often given products to try and shares his reviews with us. This video is for people who don’t like cooking and would prefer a quick and healthy option. These are freshly prepared vegan meals with no preservatives. I myself can whip these up easily. But some people just can’t and hate cooking.
These aren't meals, the portions size don't even qualify as snacks.
NOT recommended. They have the most bizarre, complicated billing/delivery system -- that makes absolutely no sense -- and the food isn't very good. Different ingredients cook at different rates, the paper container melted before it was done cooking.. and it was not very tasty. Alternative companies are better.

Much too expensive and too high in calories. I threw them out
I'm not vegan but I like vegan food, I keep waiting for completely original concepts on vegan style cooking, like wy base it on dishes that use non vegan ingredients, it's vegan after all so make a awesome vegan original based recipe were your cooking skills are not being held back by this desire to replace non vegan food.
