Absolutely gorgeous paint, and your fruit is lovely. I recently found my almost 20 year old Maimeriblu watercolor paint; I bought it for a 10 week watercolor class that I took 19 years ago! It still works fine and still has amazing colors. After my watercolor class almost 20 years ago, I didn't keep painting, and now all these years later I am trying to learn all over again.

Lovely natural palette. A nice base to grow a bigger palette if you want. I like that the colours are quite characterful and not the usual standards. Very easy to see what you might miss so not a problem to add to. I think it would be a very good base to make a limited palette of 8 without a great outlay. First encountered Maimeri around thirty years ago but could never afford them, they were very much a specialist item and though they were very desirable I was mainly painting in oils so had to prioritise.
I could see this set making useful mixes for portraits, landscape, interiors, and architectural subjects. The Payne’s grey is exceptional and the Quin colour unusually is not too overpowering, giving an unexpectedly useful palette.

Ciao Elisabetta, I knew you had a delicious video swatching MaimeriBlue watercolors. OMG! I never realize they own so many art companies. I just try a 6 set by another youtube artist Jenna and I got some small gifts with the purchase. I order another set because quite frankly the colors are so delicious that I just want to roll myself in the paint. I am so happy that my 2 little sets were on sale for $30 US dollars with a coupon code here in the USA. I have been waiting patiently for a sale on these otherwise very expensive watercolors. Let me know if you would like to do an art swap sometime. I enjoy your videos and information. Maria

Odd my cadmium yellow deep looks like gamboge, too orange… and the Quin Lake is a purple. 😟 disappointing for a test set … was hoping for a yellow yellow and a red. They are creamy and I do like the ultramarine and green gold.
The paint itself is very smooth, very pigmented, and of top quality. I’d recommend it.
