Wait a minute... The CAPTION hello???? Well that's interesting... The creative destruction idea is cool. It's highly linked to the universal laws of universe... And society's. I think they try to connect both since the beginning with all the mentions about the space, time, universe, gravity, satellites, thunder, etc. The whole concept is about the path of discovering the 'I' and that connecting it to the 'you' while help finding its true self... So eventually 'I' and 'you' become 'we'. It's interesting that they put it as a square as we kept seeing squares in their mvs since debut. The symbolism of the square is... huge. It can represesent the number 4 linked to an idea of stability / laying foundations. Also 4 of the cosmic elements (sun, moon, stars and planets) or the 4 elements (earth air fire water). I believe 3 of the sides are the Body, Soul, Spirit and that they need to connect to a 4th side which is the 'us' / kind of global understanding of each other. (side note : the use of number 3 is interesting : Tag Tag Tag / Ring Ring Ring --> 3 words. It represents each barrier you have to go beyond : the 'I', the 'you and the 'us' which is linked to the process of linking the Body, Soul and Spirit). Also in From Now mv Hoyoung actually pulls the trigger you remember? After saying "you keep me inside a small planet that called you" he blows up a whole solar system lol. I believe it's linked to the creative destruction process they mentioned in the GBTB mv caption. There's nothing fixed in the world, "Nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed" said Antoine Lavoisier who discovered that although matter may change its form or shape (shape!!!! think about the squares and all the different shapes we've seen in the vrvr mvs: triangles, pentagons, circles etc.), its mass always remain the same. It's all about what we perceive (its shape), when (time references in the mvs, cameras), how (communication devices such as TVs, phones, satellites)... All of this create such a COMPLEX WORLD where EVERYTHING CHANGES AND EVOLVES ALL THE TIME (yeah that's the world we live in T.T) so that it makes it hard to build solid connections... that's why you can end getting lost and be alone (--> a quite obvious theme in all the trailers and mvs as well). YET when you come to such a form of understanding, you can overcome the obstacles and 'Go Beyond the Barrier'. And beyond that barrier is probably 'Verrerdise' (mentioned in DIY Paradise / Photo MV). Verrerdise is logically symbolised by the group colors magenta and yellow, let aside the glittering silver (we can see that in the Thunder and Connect DIY MV and in their recent fanmeeting set). (Side note: why am I talking about colors? In the Tag Tag Tag DIY MV there's a reference to Yellow, Magenta and Cyan. And they've been using colors very carefully since the beginning in the lightning and colours of the blindfolds for instance). SO Verrerdise is symbolized by magenta and yellow, colors of Verivery. Magenta is a mix of red (the 'us') and blue (the 'you' - Thunder - what connects you to the other). The 'I' is represented by white which includes all the colours (Lay Back MV)... Yes bc in the end it's important that we exist as individuals first so that we can exist within a society. It's the basis. The black is probably the other sides of the 'I' that we have difficulty to deal with. (Side note: have you noticed how in VERIVERY the 'I' at his center. The Y could represent a sort of 'Why' that shows their will to explain how this all works as they do in their concept. Also their original logo is black and white). Let's go back to our goal: Verrerdise. Now we have the magenta ('you' and 'us'). And now we need the yellow. Yellow = Red + Green so the 'Us' and green??? Wtf is green? Yeah exactly. We often see green as the colour of hope (in the caption they talk about "the hope of 'us'") and may also symbolize rebirth. Green appears on their military outfits. It also has a connotation to the term 'alien' (Trailer 2 Face It). So I believe the green represents their fighting spirit facing the unknown. So what's the link to yellow and green in the mv? At the end they're all together but surrounded by a bunch of yellowish / greenish shapes that we can't identify yet looks similar to them... a priori 'human'. Now that they found their true selves 'I' encountered the 'you' and gathered together as the 'us' they need to come back to reality, living in our society where all the people living in it haven't went through this process or are in a different stage than them. With all those people that are strangers and 'different' because in the end none of us take the same path, right? So now, how can we live together? That I still don't know. If all the crazy things I wrote are kinda close to the actual concept of Verivery then we'll find out in their next songs haha. If not, I had fun writing this. NB: This is just a personal interpretation and a kind of...messy first possible draft? So don't take it too seriously :). I still need to give it much MUCH thought + get the DIY mvs content :). And obviously there may be over or under interpretation and pure mistakes and I'm sorry in advance for this. It's the fun of building theories. In the end we never sure and it's okay! They also work on designing a limited edition DIY versions of each album and their DIY MVs (directed and edited by Minchan) they make to go alongside it are really high quality (see paradise & photo DIY MV and connect & thunder DIY MV for their latest ones). Plus they made the official performance video for their last title track Thunder themselves too.
One thing I love about G.B.T.B. is that how the song switches between speed and slow beats. It gives the members to shine in their parts like vocal line, rap line and even Yongseung and Kangmin. Wait a minute... The CAPTION hello???? Well that's interesting... The creative destruction idea is cool. It's highly linked to the universal laws of universe... And society's. I think they try to connect both since the beginning with all the mentions about the space, time, universe, gravity, satellites, thunder, etc.
The whole concept is about the path of discovering the 'I' and that connecting it to the 'you' while help finding its true self... So eventually 'I' and 'you' become 'we'.
It's interesting that they put it as a square as we kept seeing squares in their mvs since debut.
The symbolism of the square is... huge. It can represesent the number 4 linked to an idea of stability / laying foundations. Also 4 of the cosmic elements (sun, moon, stars and planets) or the 4 elements (earth air fire water).
I believe 3 of the sides are the Body, Soul, Spirit and that they need to connect to a 4th side which is the 'us' / kind of global understanding of each other. (side note : the use of number 3 is interesting : Tag Tag Tag / Ring Ring Ring --> 3 words. It represents each barrier you have to go beyond : the 'I', the 'you and the 'us' which is linked to the process of linking the Body, Soul and Spirit).
Also in From Now mv Hoyoung actually pulls the trigger you remember? After saying "you keep me inside a small planet that called you" he blows up a whole solar system lol. I believe it's linked to the creative destruction process they mentioned in the GBTB mv caption. There's nothing fixed in the world, "Nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed" said Antoine Lavoisier who discovered that although matter may change its form or shape (shape!!!! think about the squares and all the different shapes we've seen in the vrvr mvs: triangles, pentagons, circles etc.), its mass always remain the same.
It's all about what we perceive (its shape), when (time references in the mvs, cameras), how (communication devices such as TVs, phones, satellites)... All of this create such a COMPLEX WORLD where EVERYTHING CHANGES AND EVOLVES ALL THE TIME (yeah that's the world we live in T.T) so that it makes it hard to build solid connections... that's why you can end getting lost and be alone (--> a quite obvious theme in all the trailers and mvs as well).
YET when you come to such a form of understanding, you can overcome the obstacles and 'Go Beyond the Barrier'.
And beyond that barrier is probably 'Verrerdise' (mentioned in DIY Paradise / Photo MV). Verrerdise is logically symbolised by the group colors magenta and yellow, let aside the glittering silver (we can see that in the Thunder and Connect DIY MV and in their recent fanmeeting set).
(Side note: why am I talking about colors? In the Tag Tag Tag DIY MV there's a reference to Yellow, Magenta and Cyan. And they've been using colors very carefully since the beginning in the lightning and colours of the blindfolds for instance).
SO Verrerdise is symbolized by magenta and yellow, colors of Verivery. Magenta is a mix of red (the 'us') and blue (the 'you' - Thunder - what connects you to the other). The 'I' is represented by white which includes all the colours (Lay Back MV)... Yes bc in the end it's important that we exist as individuals first so that we can exist within a society. It's the basis. The black is probably the other sides of the 'I' that we have difficulty to deal with. (Side note: have you noticed how in VERIVERY the 'I' at his center. The Y could represent a sort of 'Why' that shows their will to explain how this all works as they do in their concept. Also their original logo is black and white).
Let's go back to our goal: Verrerdise. Now we have the magenta ('you' and 'us'). And now we need the yellow. Yellow = Red + Green so the 'Us' and green??? Wtf is green? Yeah exactly. We often see green as the colour of hope (in the caption they talk about "the hope of 'us'") and may also symbolize rebirth. Green appears on their military outfits. It also has a connotation to the term 'alien' (Trailer 2 Face It). So I believe the green represents their fighting spirit facing the unknown.
So what's the link to yellow and green in the mv? At the end they're all together but surrounded by a bunch of yellowish / greenish shapes that we can't identify yet looks similar to them... a priori 'human'.
Now that they found their true selves 'I' encountered the 'you' and gathered together as the 'us' they need to come back to reality, living in our society where all the people living in it haven't went through this process or are in a different stage than them. With all those people that are strangers and 'different' because in the end none of us take the same path, right? So now, how can we live together? That I still don't know. If all the crazy things I wrote are kinda close to the actual concept of Verivery then we'll find out in their next songs haha. If not, I had fun writing this.

This is the thing I absolutely LOVE about Verivery. While I listen to their title tracks, I can *never* predict what’s going to come up next in the song and I love it. Their songs are never the same and not predictable. Verivery, *once again* you have managed to stun me with all your talents. I’m a proud Verrer.

Verivery is a 7 member group that debuted on January 9th 2019, under jellyfish entertainment. Their fans are called VERRER. They are all really active on Twitter I do recommend you follow them on their personal twitter @by_verivery. They also do interesting concepts by releasing their own DIY mv with each comeback. Had a pre debut reality show called NOW VERIVERY. Appeared on the survival show Road to Kingdom.

They also work on designing a limited edition DIY versions of each album and their DIY MVs (directed and edited by Minchan) they make to go alongside it are really high quality (see paradise & photo DIY MV and connect & thunder DIY MV for their latest ones). Plus they made the official performance video for their last title track Thunder themselves too.

One thing I love about G.B.T.B. is that how the song switches between speed and slow beats. It gives the members to shine in their parts like vocal line, rap line and even Yongseung and Kangmin. That makes the song more interesting! And as expected, all of them did so well in their parts!!! VERIVERY IS THE BEST!!!!!!!
