- Another me, locked in darkness. SERIES ‘O’ [ROUND 2: HOLE]
[ROUND 2: HOLE] will peak the SERIES ‘O’ plot by adding the tension of the story, which unfolds like a death game as if completing a quest, and the speed of being sucked deep into the darkness.
While the presence of the one who invited VERIVERY to a sweet party in the dark space in the last album has been dimmed, with the appearance of the presence who VERIVERY did not want to face, VERIVERY gradually blurs and sink into their respective spaces, soon eroding into darkness.
The music video captures the confusion of the members overwhelmed by the uncontrollably growing darkness as the unknown presence wearing a mask that appeared in ‘Get Away’ is set to reveal its face. The bleak feeling of production that matches the reputation of ‘Horror VERIVERY’ gives yet another sense of tension and pleasure to fans who’ve waited for VERIVERY’s summer. In particular, it will be fun to find and interpret the meaning of the objects hidden in the music video and the narrative extension in relation to the previous album.

지난 앨범 어둠의 공간 속 달콤한 광란의 파티장으로 VERIVERY를 초대한 존재가 어렴풋이 드러난 가운데, 마주하고 싶지 않았던 이의 등장으로 점차 VERIVERY의 존재는 흐려져 가고 각자의 공간에 잠기며 이내 어둠에 잠식된다.
뮤직비디오에서는 지난 ‘Get Away’에서 등장한 복면을 쓴 미지의 존재가 얼굴을 드러낼 예정으로 걷잡을 수 없이 커지는 어둠에 속수무책으로 당하는 멤버들의 혼란스러움을 담아낸다. ‘호러 베리’의 명성에 맞는 스산한 느낌의 연출은 VERIVERY의 여름을 기다린 팬들에게 또 다른 긴장감과 즐거움을 선사한다. 특히, 뮤직비디오 내에 숨겨진 오브제들의 의미와 지난 앨범 간에 서사 연장선을 찾아 해석하는 재미도 있을 것이다.

so everyone has their own role and I'm pretty sure that yongseung is the one who have the clue, he always has it with him since get away and then hoyoung is the one that can make them escape from vrvr. if you see, yongseung is showing him the clue and he's the one that can replace that world with their own world. while dongheon are trying to run away from the grip of the dark dongheon while saving other verivery. and i think, Minchan's vrvr is actually kind(?) and trying to help them get away from vrvr.

My multistan heart is crying because the set is giving me Monsta X "Follow", NCT "Boss", Taemin "Idea" vibes! I love the darker concepts it's like a fight between the light and dark version of Verivery. Kinda like my depression the dark and light fight for dominance sometimes the darker side wins but light side seems to comeback to fight harder. But anyway welcome back Verivery!! 0:05 The Compass. The Ring3 MV starts with a clock that appears to manipulate time (just like Minchan's Compass)
0:21 The Car. On Ring3, Verivery are also riding a vehicle (I think it is a truck)
0:56 Kangmin gets shot. In both MVs, Verivery (or VRVR) aim at Kangmin and shoot him (On Ring3 they do this with their hands)
2:52 The Photo-booth. This is simple, there's also a Photo-booth in Ring3. This is what started it all because Dongheon mentioned the booth is very important.
3:15 To an exit. In both MVs, everyone is running towards a door/exit and in both videos Kangming is in the middle.
It's also worth mentioning that there's a scene of Dongheon in Ring3 that's almos identical (but a brighter version) to his character film, because in both they are holding an horizontal camera and take pictures of the members. Also, if you read the lyrics of Ring3 again after having analysed all of this, the lyrics sound like VRVR are telling Verivery to call them and Face Them, and that they will become theirs, which is actually creppy haha

Trigger is about trap in darkness. In MV clearly showed they played some kind of quest and also deadly. This shown how the darkness try to take over your mind.
Little by little, your supposed 'bad' behaviour become more norm. At the same time you know some of your acts is wrong but at the same time you can't control jow to behave anymore and at some point, you actually enjoy this new personality of your (talking from experienced). This lead you falled more into the hole that you create yourself and trap in there...

I'm lovin this comeback so much though this is my first comeback with them :D One of the things that make me feel goosebumps is Minchan's facial expression when he is in white and black. He nailed the dual personality(?) like d4mnn it really feels like a pair of twin but with opposite character. Anyway, it was fun to watch the mv many times while seeing the details

Here's my off-the-bat theory after watching this a couple of times and watching the MVs in order starting with Tag×3:
They woke up in a simulation set up by their alter egos and they are being tortured but then they realize that and escape it.
Regardless, this song is amazing and they all did a great job. Can't wait to listen to the other tracks and watch their live performances. I hope they achieve a lot with this comeback coz they totally deserve it.
