Reveille Squad is also pretty good for other kinds of tapping decks, like decks with Inspiring Statuary, Cryptolith Rite, Convoke cards, and Vehicle decks like Shorikai. Another couple Horsemanship related cards are Sun Quan, Lord of Wu and Rolling Earthquake. Sun Quan gives your whole board Horsemanship, and Rolling Earthquake deals X to each player and each creature without Horsemanship. (yes, the earthquake even deals that damage to flying creatures) The problems with Safe Haven are that it's a land with no mana ability, you're paying 3 mana each time you "save" a creature once per turn, and you only get the creatures back if you successfully resolve the other ability in your upkeep. If it gets removed any other way, you don't get the creatures back. That's the main reason I don't like cards like this or Helvault. At least with Cold Storage, you can sacrifice it at instant speed to get your creatures back. Or Tawnos' Coffin, which says "until this leaves the battlefield".

For Righteous Fury, it's definitely got a possible spot in any goad heavy deck in white. You just forced all of your openers to attack each other with everything and then you wipe their fields and still have your own. Definitely has a place where it can be better than the staple wipes.
One thing to note about samite elder is it 5 color commanders with a wubrg activated ability like Kenrith or Sisay will only give protection of the colors in the casting cost.

Revival/revenge is a really cool card! I wanted to ask if you could do an episode on more uncommon reanimation options. I have a Piru, The Volatile deck that I haven't seen anyone play before, and the more unexpected the better!
If you're talking uncommon reanimation, my personal favorite is Call of the Death-Dweller. The counters are always gravy! Exhume and Sevinne's Reclamation are 2 more I enjoy, but the Reclamation isn't an uncommon. Endless Obedience is good too if you can reliably have dudes on board.
Its a lifegain lifepay deck with a strong legendary creature theme. It also has a bunch of reanimation, as well as a stuffy doll theme. I think iv cut every infinite combo, but run praetors grasp in case i need to go infinite to win (i run aetherflux and bolas citadel, but not top, i have vito but not exquisite blood, etc)
I have two decks I am 75% done with making one of them Orzhov the other Bant. I’m added about half the cards mentioned to both of those decks. I’ll use the affiliate link for sure!

That is a laughably bad card especially considering its a white board wipe... unless of course you happen to currently be brewing a gahiji, honored one, forced combat/goad deck, which of course i currently am! Cannot wait to follow up a disrupt decorum or something similar with this! This is why i love commander and why i love your channel. Most cards have a home in at least a few decks, and you appreciate like i do the making low power, high synergy cards shine in the right deck!
It's well known that muldrotha decks like mystic remora because you can bring it back and essentially bypass the cumulative upkeep cost. Same with ritual of subdual. Play from your graveyard, then finish your turn with a Subdual, then watch your opponents struggle. Pair this with permanent removal, specifically artifacts and creature, which is common in a muldrotha deck, then you can essentially shut your opponents out of the game. Then in your upkeep, don't laugh upkeep, then play it again. This also works with stasis and other cards.
Would be neat to play Safe Haven in a Traitor themed deck. Effects that take opponents creatures until end of turn but before giving them back you exile them. You would never sacrifice it so it would never return the creatures to play.
Sunblast Angel is probably a better option than Righteous Fury - same cost, same effect, but instead of life gain you get a 4/5 flyer that you can blink to do it again.
How about Stronghold Overseer. A 6 mana 5/5 unblockable creature. That BB ability to +1/0 all creatures with Shadow and -1/-0 all non-shadow until end of turn can be used defensively to lessen combat damage for you or maybe another opponent being attacked.
I found a pile of Safe Havens in a pile of old cards at my dad’s house last year, and I’ve been considering where it might fit. Maybe in my Yarok deck if I could find room, I have a landfall sub theme and ETBs on everything.
Revival // Revenge is in 4 of my decks. It's really good. I use it mostly for the revival side, but is stupid in my Orzhov Gain n Drain deck with Kambal. I've gotten my life total to over 500 playing with that deck before, and no one but me in my group uses Voltron.
I have a foil safe haven in my Ziriln of the claw deck (along with endless sands) it's a real good way to get around his exile the dragon at end of turn trigger.
I use the acronym DEBT to remember what protection does: can't be Damaged by, Enchanted by, Blocked by, and Targeted by. I think this is a popular term but I'm not sure if everyone knows, or has trou le remembering what protection from does!
Protection doesn't do anything against board wipes unless its a red "damage" board wipe. Board wipes dont target and protection protects from damage, and targeting.
Ritual of Subdual would be just plain rude in my Kinnan deck, which is already loaded up with dorks and rocks and has plenty of room to dump colorless mana 😫I’d feel like an ass but maybe that’s the way to take that deck out of just weirdly-efficient battle cruiser into something more tuned.
Hard for me to play reveille squad when Heliod exists. Same with Righteous fury and Sunblast Angel. I have never heard of Safe Haven though, that card is legit.

its actually already played in cEDH as it will exile your entire deck if it is the only white card in it. So its basically a two card win-combo with thassa's oracle or similar effects.
Couldn't you run Safe Haven in a deck that focuses on stealing your opponents' creatures as a failsafe to ensure said creatures never return to your opponents' control? That'd be pretty brutal.
I was thinking the exact same thing but it says the creature enters under its owners control which would give it back to your opponent since you control the card but the opponent owns the card

I think the issue with this list, is it's almost all white and/or green cards. What if I wanna play random, or Damir, or grixis, I feel like there should have been a more even spread of colors

I literally just put riftsweeper in my Riku xerox deck, snapcaster with flicker(deadeye nav) now altering with RS puts those instants/sorc back in the deck, also Prosper decks hate this card

The samite elder will go so great in my Garth tap tribal deck. I also just added the reveille squad to that deck as well!
I have Samite Elder in my Eight-and-a-Half-Tails deck. Works very well.

I would run Sacred Guide in a deck where the only other white card is Approach of the second sun
but then your whole deck gets exiled.

I have ritual of subdual in my no upkeeps deck and its fun as hell to watch people squirm
using safe haven in my kels fight fixer as a way to reuse Sower of Temptation effects, or just to save them from being exiled/killed
Not to mention, you could use Samite Elder to give all of your creatures protection from mono white, boardwipe, and swing out.
