i still play Arma 2 Day Z epoch, almost everyday when i have time. Still lot's of fun on the genesis server. I'll have to keep an eye out for JereZill.

Yep it can. Come play on my server - nova servers. Never drops below 70, 80. Often sit above 100-120. i7

I started playing Arma 2 dayz since a few months, i am pretty much new and can someone tell me a good european pve server? I play it alone cuz i have no one playing it ( yes i know its old but first, i dont have the money for arma 3 and my pc cant even handle arma 2 good)
I always loved watching dayz videos and its so nice playing it myself but as we all know, dayz isnt easy ^^'
There aren't that many servers open so I can't really recommend any.. try using dayzlauncher to find the servers with low ping and lots of players!

I was able to change huds by pressing a specific key but I can't remember which one...

I just used DayZ launcher the same way I used it back in the good old days!
@@JereZiii I'll have to revisit it at some point. My friends and I used to play Genesis all of the time, I even remember our Nemesis; a fella called Shadow that used to steal vehicles that we played cat and mouse with every week.

Arma 2 DayZ Mod is still better than SA after 12 years haha.
Sad but sort of true🤣 SA has been doing well for a long time now though, since the devs have been very persistent!
SA is better these days, but i personally not a fan of hunger, thirst and stamina balance on vanilla servers. It makes overall gameplay really slow and tortures. But modded servers are quite fun to play.

not really, the lighting constantly changing from dark/light as you look up/down is really annoying, and they ruined it when it went from tent cities to built bases that lonewolfs have no chance of getting into, plus base owners don't go outside their bases much so no random firefights. It was epic in 2012 when all the servers were official ones with persistent location/inventory/stats between all of them.
We will never get that back.
