Here's a joke, man
You should quit fishing and become a full time youtuber lol
In all seriousness you did great man .
No bull just solid content straight to the point and an awesome outro
hahaha
I agree ,you should get some sponsors mate, why not your helping them and many others
Sir, just a sidenote.
You moved the center of gravity way too high with that camera on top.
1).
Take the camera off.
2)
Put about 150 to 250 grams of weight under the boat, UNDER the waterline CENTERED.
Fix the weight with Apoxy.
3)
Put that bait in the slot bay, not outside. The drag is too much and the waves making the bait rock 'n rolling which will be transferred to the boat boat.
Bin there, done exactly that.
The weather was rainy and a lot of seaweed at Matagorda but I still caught 3 bull reds before the rain started coming down.
interesting feedback! thanks for the video
Fabricate you some little outrigger pontoons for the Fishing Surfer for better stabilization. See what happens. Keep it up! Beast of a Speck!!
I thought about a boat or drone to drop baits.
Might've saved me a few bu
The drone would be better if you are willing to risk it as the Seagulls are not too bright.
I'll give you 300 for it right now...
Glad you came forward this should help people that are on the fence about getting one. Save the money and get a drone if your going to try and go that distance. Just make your the rest of your equipment is up to par
My best trip was conditions like that. Even caught me PB red. We ended up with reds, pompano, and few trout.
Hard to believe in conditions like this because when the water is dirty the fish move way offshore into cleaner waters. The only good thing about the high winds from the south is they push the bait closer to shore. Like I said in the video you got lucky and happened to be in the right spot. It happens but for most of us, we don't fish these conditions.
@@texasbeachbum Agreed I can usually find some fish but it take way more time with those conditions. I do believe it was right place a the the right time moment. It's a 6.5hr drive for me and I have turn in time off 1 month in advance so I just have to fish whatever the conditions are. I tend to get a lot of that chocolate milk water to fish in. LOL
Great video, thank you!!
No problem and thank you for watching
Thanks for the inputs. I’m not going to buy it now. I was planning to buy one. 😊
you're welcome I think it would be better just to buy a long rod
Honest review finally giving me the information i needed. going to lean my wallet in the back pocket now. thank you
You're welcome if the surf was good most days then it would be awesome
Can you add a ballast? So it doesnt flip over in the waves?
I guess you could I remember seeing one added on a TH-cam video
Dang so the Aquacat is still the better choice. Expensive but here I am with 2 shark baits out
Yea probably because anything over 3 feet in the surf and this thing won't work good.
There good in the bays and in the lakes but not at the at the texas coast works great on the east coast
Great review. 🎉
Drone is the way to go over that. But can be costly. Only down side
Gotta make sure you can fly a drone. Port Aransas is a no fly area because of the airport
I fly a drone all the time in Port A it gets set at a certain height. At one point in time I use to use a drone to drop baits. Corpus is filled with airports because of Navy but it will only let you go in some areas only 100 feet. PINS is a no fly zone
Yeah. If I just had the money to piss off, it would be on a drone. You are a 100% correct. The surf is alomost always ruff as hell.
It sure is
I will be down there at the end of the month. I will give you $400 for the "bait boat". Being used and all. 😂😂😂😂😂
🤠🤠
Good for bay fishing
Yes, this would work great in the bays.
Fishing in general isn't good in those conditions, drones might be better but cost 2-3x as much
I use to use a drone to drop baits. Time-consuming and not worth the risk
Using drones for that is illegal here in NC
You don’t want it man I’ll take it
Just learn how to long cast from Nick Myer at breakaway tackle. Find 14' 15' foot surf rods.
Nick is such an awesome guy!!
@@ericolsen9799 Yes he is but I really prefer shorter rods as I try to use artificial when I can
11 ft would be perfect for both artificial lures and for bait , try tsunami surf rods
Your spot on ,it doesn't perform if it's rough water and waves over 2 feet it's ok in the USA it's $800 I'm from Australia I paid $1500 waste of money 💰 for suf, very disappointing also weed stops the performance, returning home doesn't work, most of the time it's better to manually bring the RC BOAT back into shore great video big luv ❤ from Melbourne Australia 😀
For that amount of money I can get 2 truck loads of Pompanos from my local grocery store. 😅
I've looked at these and even had an old drone i could use but i think the best method I've seen is a bait cannon, just never made one
that would be sweet
I'll buy it. If you give me a deal. seriously
perfect bull conditions
I fish around Waveland MS and the Gulf there has small waves for somereason so I think this boat will work well.
You can find some cheaper ones that do the same thing and are a lot easier to transport
@@mryorkie I looked at the cheaper ones. I had money to burn and got this one.
you want to sell it?
No keeping it
😂😂😂😂
This hard !
