- This tutorial covers prop_animinteractable, info_particle_system, and point_soundevent.
prop_animinteractable is used to create interactable objects such as doorhandles, switches, levers, and crank wheels.
info_particle_system is used to create particle effects, in this tutorial I use it to create a sparks effect
Made using the Half Life Alyx Workshop Tools version of Hammer for Source 2

There are keyvalues for playing audio with certain interactions. I'll be covering this in next weeks video

For some reason, my computer can run the game perfectly but when i add the particle systems in the editor, i get wretched framerates in hammer, and i don't know how to fix it.
I noticed you run windows 7, have you had any issues with running hammer on there? just out of curiousity
Does ambient_generic work in HLA? I have tried to use it instead of point_soundevent because it has more options but I have not been able to get it working.
ambient_generic is no longer used. You need to use point_soundevent
