I too am a DV survivor and childhood survivor of DV. I just want to say I am grateful for the justice for Jorge Torres Jr. The truth will always come out. And karma is real.
Same here!!! She is infuriating, she is a vile low life. I hope they see through her bullshit in prison too if she tries to join a support group or something
What I don't get is that some people watched her tell the jury that she lies under oath for personal gain, and still assume that she's telling the truth.
In one of her letters to the judge she said everyone who points a finger at her making accusations there are 3 fingers pointing back. Those words are constantly b*tch slapping her....making her snot boil.
@@jjetsam3 LYK was in the room and said Judge K was watching her closely. Knowing she can't always control that smirk the way she thinks she can, she smirked her way into life.
I honestly believe the Judge was going to give her 40 years less time served. Then he upgraded to life when he saw she had no remorse. And just tried to put the blame again on Jorge, the lawyers, the Judge and social media.
The words of Mrs.Torres "she will never experience raising her son ,I have his children." Angered her more than the LWOP. Sarah will never acknowledge her self-imposed road to destruction.
Likewise Sarah will never have the ability to also raise her own son. Thank goodness he has a chance to grow up into a good and decent man without Sarah’s involvement
That was great. I have seen very little of his mom speaking up, but she's strong and good and is a wonderful counterpoint to Sarah, yet still stuck it to her good, if she meant to, so bravo.
She never gave a crap about Lukas other than using him as a weapon against Brian. And try to get more money out of him. A few neighbors said the only person they saw spending time and playing with Lukas outside the Townhouse was Jorge. Sarah was too drunk or sleeping to do anything with him.
I would bet Brian would let "my son" visit George's family. Except for George's death, there is nothing negative about about her being in jail for life.
Keep in mind that this was her best effort at feigning remorse. Her expert witness said they she viewed Jorge as her child. You wait in the parking lot for hours for a child. For an adult, you drop him off. If she had allowed him to have a phone he could have called if the appointments ended early. In this light, she might view children as property, and separate his daughters for this reason. Jorge's family tried to get him to leave her. Even the police tried to explain her MO To him.
Thats a great point, you wait for a kid, but drop off an adult. She was stuck there because he was not allowed a phone with wifi or whatever. She even took the one his mother gave him. Maybe this his her moms fault a little because I would stay out of it if I could but stealing and controlling his only means for help, I had bought him, I would have take her out and happily done that time! I'm half kidding and a zillion pct do not blame his mother or anyone else but Sarah, don't worry.
This is the best no-nonsense true-crime linguistic analysis on the internet. Not diminishing other’s importance. Keyword = “linguistic”. No Psych 101 grad, clutching for fame. It’s humans talking - so there will always be debate. But solid conversation material.
I agree. This has been my favorite SB sentencing reaction video. If you like statement analysis: check out Truth Revealed. His masterclass on SB is insightful
@ Thank you. NZ Psych here. “Registered” but not “Practicing”. Love your work. So many fakers in this space. Look forward to seeing the future of your channel.
Sarah sees herself as the ONLY victim here, that's why there's no evidence of brokenness or humble contrition in her hollow apology. Fantastic, Chris. Thank you 🇦🇺
💯 Even when I think about justified self-defense (i.e. someone breaking into your home) I feel there would be guilt & remorse for hurting another person. It amazes me that Sarah's extremeness (i.e. everything being hot or cold, black or white) extends to her ability to feel remorse and/or take accountability. She is the ONLY victim. She blames a man she murdered and his family for putting her in prison for the rest of her life when she would be out in 7 years if she just shut up.
I'm glad to find out the piece that the ceramics analogy was plagiarized. That explains why her use of "forgiveness" was so completely bizarre and mostly directly opposite what it generally means.
Would someone PLEASE take away Sarah's thesaurus. She's never met an adjective she didn't like. And I knew she'd get "not intentional!" into her statement somewhere...
right . have thought the same damn thing. she does complain here and there about access to enough pens and paper . I suspect that was how the recipients of her keys found at leats some relief. No sarah. we are not giving you unlimited paper . lol
Regarding her "stab wound" I read that it was the result of a drunken fall where she landed on the glass she'd broken while having drinks on her back porch.
@@JM-ot8ux IIRC it was in the police interview (as heresay) of either the property manager or one of the neighbours (Brandon/Vincent). At least it was mentioned by someone in those early police interviews.
Sounds way more plausible than her story. I wish that could have been addressed in trial since she uses the stabbing story as proof of Jorge being a dangerous abuser😢
If I were either of them, I'd have a sign on my office door (if they have an office) or a desk that states just that. My sister once took in our other sister, her lazy husband and their 3 children and expected the bare minimum of consideration and provided the bare minimum of house rules during their temporary residence as they recovered from their extreme financial mismanagement. Our brother in law kept grousing that they were in a prison, so my sister had a sign made that said "Warden" and placed it on her bedroom door.
This case has affected me enormously! I think I was in shock after her sentencing tirade! I could not comprehend how she could say these things?!?! Thank you for putting a perspective on her words and helping me to close the Sarah Boone ten/ten/seven/seven saga. May the Torres family find peace.
It's important to consider that her character witnesses are also her victims. I hope that they watched her statement so that she can start to see who she really is. Sentencing is based mainly on the person's ability to rehabilitate. She would do this again; she doesn't believe that it was wrong.
While her character witnesses may come to see who Sarah "really is", I do think that the confirmation bias of these women and the cognitive dissonance of coming to see the real Sarah is way to high for a true reconing of who Sarah is really. They received a measure of care and comfort and if that is how they perceived Sarah for eternity, I would not hope to take that away from them. The true tricky part is how Sarah changes how she treats those now on the outside when she no longer perceives them as useful. And I would not wish the suffering Sarah will inevitably cause these women on them. However, life has a way of settling the score on bad players.
Her witnesses were more manipulated victims it is true, but in siding with her they were sayig FU to the Torres. I hear it that way, you tell me if I am wrong. I'm struggling to understand them. I mean it, if you do not mind, why do you give them so much leeway? Do they have a form of BSS through sarah? Most of us do at this point.
Yes, I want to extend kindness to them especially because they seem to be in a vulnerable emotional space -- exactly the kind of people Sarah loves to prey on. I don't have any ill will toward people who are victims of emotional manipulation, even if I disagree with what they do with that.
@@GuiltyWords Great point. You’re a good person. I still don’t like them because they are defending her, but that is what abuse victims often do isn’t it? I have to keep reminding myself of that.
I have looked forward to this video since sentencing. You did not disappoint in your analysis. Sadly, I also have a mother that reframes reality. I have learned over my 59 years that there is no way to make people like this admit, recognize any of their own transgression and the impact of those they claim to love. She will not change. She will continue to victimize people in her past and her future. Sorry for the rant. Thank you for your work.
Thank you so much! I'm so sorry to hear about your mother. Everybody has the capacity for change, but not when they're unwilling to do the work. Setting boundaries for ourselves is the best we can do -- good on you for not taking on her burdens.
@@GuiltyWords Thank you for your kind words. Yes. I can have a relationship based on the boundaries I set. It is the only way. Even at my age, it hurts that I have to be wary of her. But I do love her. And I remember when I was a small child and she loved me unconditionally. So, I have that. It is what it is. I hope you have a fantastic weekend!
Her facial expressions.. the looks on her face… it made what she said SO MUCH WORSE!! She actually looked like a complete Lunatic. Psychotic… she somehow managed to control her expressions in the past but I think her true self came out as she spoke her disgusting thoughts.
I agree Jennifer... you could visually see her trying to control the anger she so desperately wanted to unleash. Imagine what she was like while hitting the suitcase with the bat, where there is no one to witness her uncontrolled rage!! I follow interesting cases from start to finish and the emotional gambit I experienced while following along in real time was unbelievable... I am emotionally exhausted. Thank god it's over for everyone.
Chris I have been eagerly awaiting your brilliant analysis! Thank you so much for taking the time to dissect and examine SB's diatribe against Jorge, his family and the media. She showed not one shred of emotion in her "apology". Her attitude was pompous and "hoilier than thou". Her victim posture was truly evil. There shall be no heaven for Sarah. RIP Jorge and may his family experience resolution and peace as Sarah rots in prison.
This was so good! I love the way you cover material. It was well worth the wait. I appreciate the way you extended respect to the people who spoke on her behalf. The speech from the friend reminded me of the video of Mr Torres's forced statement singing Sarah's praises. Sarah's speech, much like her actions, was monstrous.
On my goodness, that’s exactly what I thought the moment I heard it!!! That video of Jorge reciting what she wanted him to say in court to dismiss the charges against her, about her dogs and she being an angel etc. She has been manipulating people all her life, it seems! And for Mr Owens to state in court Sarah didn’t have a criminal record and she was a first time offender, completely dismissed how she coerced Jorge to have the charges dropped!!
@@mxnjonesYes and she had to say how much Jorge meant to her and she to him. Like she can speak for Jorge after all the lies she told. I mean she insisted she didn't touch Jorge in the Police interview. Then when Owens came on the scene, suddenly she picked up the bat and beat his hands & him for daring to try to save himself for death. She told them it was all good, they had a good day. Remember, They cleaned, played a game and painted( IMPO all made up and set up prior to her answering BB's calls. I still think she wanted to put the blame on BB, but he stepped into the foyer and refused to go in further or to join her for a cigerette or drink on the back porch prior to her calling 911. She swore on her son's name or body that she was telling the truth. They had sex and that was the scratches she said, but otherwise they didn't touch each other.
I knew that Sarah's statement was going to be monstrous when she started with 'If I may...', and thank you for this analysis. Even though you didn't want to say the 'R' word, you did say the 'M' word that many people are scared of saying; please, never go full self-censorship.
We all knew it would be unhinged and about herself being the victim and hard to take and stupid, but who could have prepared for what we got??? Not even fake tears wow! Lol Is it a week, I'm still recovering. Lol
It absolutely astonished me how depraved her statement was. And her latest letter says she thought this would grant her leniency...! I never plan to go full censorship here, I think it's important to talk as frankly about these topics as possible. I just err on the side of caution when it comes to TH-cam's own policies. :-)
We were all so outraged by this edited statement. Then, before we could recover from our collective outrage, the unedited version of statement is released! All of my doubts about the fairness of her life sentence for 2nd degree redrum was erased when I read the unedited version of her statement. I have categorized this proof of the incurable nature of Sarah's criminal insanity as, "Revenge Porn."
Sarah actually plagiarized more than the kinsugi opening... She took the "terrifying love" from the book Terrifying Love: Why Battered Women Kill and How Society Responds. When Sarah mentions later in her speech that she didn't realize she was in an abusive cycle relationship, I believe she means that, until Owens and Co swooped in to take the case, Sarah didn't have the reference stories or vocabulary to describe IPV well enough to use as a defense. Owens gave her study material, and like the straight A student she is, Sarah took in all that information and added those details to bulk up her stories in order to make them more realistic and believable. Sarah also strangely didn't mention Brian and her son at all during her speech, and I wonder if that's something else Owens edited out or if she excluded them knowing she still have an open case in family court. I think it's the former.
My eyes popped out of my head when I got to the story in that book about "Sarah" and "George" and the stab wound to the leg! To the best of my knowledge, she never accused Jorge of causing that wound until after Owens had her read that book.
She actually used Looney Tunes Cartoons as material to describe what it's like getting beat up.... _"seeing stars. And a big lump on the head"_ , LoL! ( I've been hit hard enough to see stars several times....and gotten black eyes and a Swollen, malformed looking face as a result ... and I wouldn't describe it anything like a cartoon!)
@@chocolatechip12 The stab wound is questionable just like the black eye and being dragged up and down the stairs. SB failed miserably with painting a black eye. If skin is black the skin is dead.
I think she knew about BSS before Owens came along. Her other lawyers just wouldn't go along with it because they had reviewed the evidence. That was their ethical concern. I'm sure she acted like she had never heard of it when Owens came on board.
Love this breakdown!! I heard the family and others left the court room when she was spewing that garbage. I hope its true and they didnt sit there and listen to that.
It is true... Lawyer You Know channel was present in the courtroom... Several of the Torres family stood up as soon as she started speaking. What was cool was that Detectives Chelsea and Scott were sitting in the first row behind Mr Jay and they stared her down the whole time.
@MsJackster88 that's where I heard it. I was watching a few min of his video and when I heard him say that I was so relieved. I hope Chelsea and Scott were giving her nasty looks the whole time. I wish the whole court room got up and left.
I heard the same. So glad they did, they didn't need to hear her bs. I hope she rots inside and gets her due punishment in prison with no control over anyone or anything. 👿😡
@@MsJackster88You mean those “scoundrel” detectives? All she got out of that was life in prison. Everyone else went home to their families and the comforts of home.
Sarah should be in a psychology textbook. Her need to be arrogant and show herself as superior and in control is greater than her survival instinct. It'll be rare to catch such examples 'in real life' or loose in the wild. And here it all is.
Absolutely! She is a fascinating study, I think they might have to create a new category for the Boone condition. Fortunately (hopefully) it is a rare disorder.
@@TBlack-dz5bo Agree! She will be a case study for geverations to come.. Her misguided and deeply illusional sense of “control” being superior not only to the truth or any moral standards but also to her survival. She actually traded her senior years in freedom, her chance to spend time with her son in liberty for lifetime just to make her final statement.. That is extremely … extreme. It’s beyond my comprehension. Really wild!
I'm 'morbidly' fascinated by Canadian mukbanger Foodie Beauty who exhibits similar personality traits. Since moving to extremely conservative Kuwait with a Syrian man and converting to Islam, she's continued haram behaviors, publically streaming then deleting and changing narratives. She's continued dangerous habits while somehow blaming everyone else despite her content being captured and reposted. I always thought she was just a food addicted mess but the personality disorder and lack of survival instinct has become quite clear lately.
The "entire planet" was a sarcastic remark, in my opinion. The words forgiveness and apology were meaningless as used in the context of her diatribe. Was she forgiving others? Or asking forgiveness? Neither really. She was using those words as a means to list her grievances and gain sympathy. A thinly veiled attempt to shame people. Thanks for this video. You must have put hours of work into this and it shows!
What a nice way to put an exclamation point at the end of the Sarah Boone story. Curtain closed. Well done, Chris. You always use your words wisely and well. Happy Holidays.
I appreciate and support this channel because I enjoy intelligent and articulate thoughts and discussion about topics that I enjoy (With a little humor sprinkled in…). You always deliver!!!
@@ldolan4051yes, chef’s kiss to Chris for the analogy of SB being like a dollar store vase put back together with bubble gum. That was one of my favorite lines in the video.
She really wanted to take the word "shame" back, it almost made her throw up that she actually said that. Great video. If I had to choose only one, it would be yours.
The part where Chris said: "she's more like a Dollar Store vase held together with chewed bubble gum."😂😂😂 Somehow made me feel better than I have since listening to Sarah's disingenuous pile of b.s. Thank you, Chris! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Great job as usual. If Sarah Boone thought her “rant” would help her get a downward departure, she was obviously wrong. Everyone except for the women in prison that she’s manipulated, know exactly what Sarah Boone is. A lying manipulator who incorrectly thinks she is intelligent. It obvious she plagiarizes. Probably walks around with a thesaurus under her arm. In my opinion Jorge was her victim for years. I wish Brian Boone would have elaborated more on the domestic violence she did to him. It’s telling that no family members or friends from her life before incarceration spoke at her sentencing. What she did to the Torres family was disgraceful and despicable. She is a poor excuse for a human being and deserves the life sentence. Sarah Boone will find more victims in the prison system. She is dangerous.
Thank you so much! I agree with you on all counts. She has this determination to "sound" smart, regardless of whether she actually is. It seems like she burned all her bridges with the people in her former life, no doubt because she's such an abusive manipulator. I wish her future cellmates (and her appellate lawyer) nothing but luck.
You are on a roll tonight with excellent insight and humor! Sarah always tries to make herself sound so magnanimous with her "forgiveness" aka "none of this is my fault" speech & how she helps people as though she's an asset to everyone who comes in contact with her. The maligning of Jorge's parents after the mother was incredibly kind to Sarah in her impact statement was outrageous. She basically said Jorge's parents taught him DV & other jabs she made towards them. Separating out the daughters from the Torres' was another jab. Saying she hopes the family thinks on their part is particularly foul. The defense character statements sounded as though Sarah wrote them. It's much like the video where she's coaching Jorge to say what a wonderful human she is. On her son, she makes it sound as though Jorge really disliked him but we know the neighbors said they would see Jorge outside playing with him but not Sarah. I'm sure she frequently uses him as a weapon. The "forgive me world" was disingenuous as was her entire "apology" & "forgiveness" diatribe. Well done, Chris. BTW that sweater looks beautiful on you. ❤
Thank you so much! Your comments are always so insightful, and this one is no different -- I agree on all counts. The way Sarah blamed the Torres family for what happened... I gasped aloud when she said she hoped they lay awake at night thinking about it. She wants to control the narrative, and she's shocked that isn't going her way.
Yes exactly - where are all these witnesses? Why didn’t they give testimony? As for being ‘forced to drink’ - she was drinking long before she met George. She refers to herself in the third person at one point - apparently that’s what narcissists like to do. I’m editing as I listen! Yes - the ‘ifs and whys and how’s don’t matter’ - one of the most, of many, egregious statements she made - they don’t matter to ME is what she’s saying so why should they matter to anyone else. She’ll home in on the vulnerable ones in prison as she did in jail - such a shame they buy into her. Also I reckon she’ll write a letter at some point detailing what was deleted from her statement- she won’t be able to resist.
I agree with you that she will be sending a letter to Judge Kraynick with the edited part of her statement claiming Owens misrepresented her by making her edit the statement. However, the case is closed so her correspondence to the court will go in file 13.
@@ndgrandma2124 I think that woman was running her own Fame Game. Consider this: if she made her sorrowful "I'm dying" case to the world she might benefit financially. Or maybe not, but hey, Sarah took the bait, why not exploit the relationship? No downside. She gets her pikchur on the teevee, that's GOLD.
SB, in one of her letters to the judge, stated she at times "calmly" or "softly asked" Brian for money/ Basically what she was doing was begging and harassing Brian just as she has done to everyone.
Imagine poor Jorge wakes up, after the untold hours of positional asphyxiation...finally, his torment is over, and he wakes in heaven...... and Sarah's there , waiting for him....😬 ...so she can _"love him endlessly, and....in all of it and still."_ [sic]. 😱 ( 23:01 ).
We do know. Sarah's so-called 'stab wound' happened when Sarah drunkenly crashed into a glass table on her back porch. Her property manager can verify this.
Her explanation that she presented him with a steak dinner and he got angry then tried to force himself on her then stabbed her when she tried to get off the bed didn’t make any sense. Her stories always have contradictory statements in them.
Yeah, her lying, saying that J said "I just wanna F you on the potatoes" has to be one of the insane lies that she could come up with. She is DISGUSTING.
Thank you for this excellent video. The graphics were excellent too. Makes it very easy to watch. I was troubled by her sentencing speech and you've explained why!!
I’m glad you noticed that she said “drawing people closer to HER” and not to the Lord. I thought that was very telling on how she’s using religion to draw people to her and make herself the focus. I also think she thrives in prison so she can feed her ego and feel Superior
In one police interview, Sarah described how George’s father did not want George to return to Sarah after he left her. Sarah had gone to the parents home to take him back to her.
Thank you - I was really hoping you would analyze this "allocution" for us. When I finally made myself listen to her, I was horrified by her using the opportunity for one last go at Jorges and her perceived enemies. She is so vindictive. I believe the litany of abuses she supposedly suffered at Jorges's hands was actually a list compiled from reading a book on DV and her imagination. The poor man shown in the videos on day 5 would only have raised his hand against her out of desperation. And how was she forced to sit in the car in the parking lot for hours? Jorges was not in the car with her. And as in her police interview, so in this last speech - "unintentional" and she doesn't know what to say. The only good thing about this speech is, the Torres walked out during it, so avoided the vituperation.
Well said! And did he “force” her to drink all that alcohol prior to meeting him? The alcohol that made Brian seek a divorce?! I’m interested to know how Jorge destroyed her family traditions as well, what is she talking about?
Yes and now she's using religion to manipulate and control, throwing around forgiveness while harboring hatred to anyone who does not believe her narrative.
@@LaurenRussellElizabethIt's not so much that she videotaped the death, killers often do that, as a souvenir. Sarah didn't think anyone would see that, she had drunkenly forgotten that the death was on her phone. The significant thing for me was that she taped videos of Jorge cowering while she browbeat him, and wanted the police to see these because she thought they made her look good, and made him look bad.
When she knowingly lies, it's always excusable because she was A Victim Of Domestic Violence. And she can't remember lots of stuff, so she gives herself 100 percent benefit of the doubt in every case. "I don't remember, but I know I did nothing wrong."
She’s a liar through and through-she’s clearly the abuser and trying to blame her victim(s) - Any and all words she writes/speaks are all wrong, lies and manipulation to try and hurt others- 12-2-24 was “A GOOD DAY” ❤❤❤❤ bye, bye Sarah 😅😂 enjoy your new forever home
Oh Chris... this analysis was brilliantly done. I had my own "list of oddities" after watching the live stream of her diatribe, but I didn't pick up on all the underhanded innuendos that you brought to the light. I was so disgusted on the day of, but after watching this video, angry emotions have been poked and I'm really feeling out of sorts all over again a week later!! 😠 😡 🤬 Thank you for everything that you put into your work... your time, your emotions, your thoughtfulness, your integrity. I am learning so much from watching your videos... it has had an impact on how I interpret the discussions held between friends and family. Sending hugs 🤗 🌻 from this old gal in Canada.
Your excellent explanation helps me understand Sarah better, thank you! It was the first time I heard someone forgive their victims. Also, her lawyer must have warned her that what she wrote down was not an apology and would be to her detriment. She still did it. She is delusional.
Maybe she is only delusional about the difference between jail and prison, maybe not even that. I can totally see how she liked jail - no responsibility at all, every other day something new to complain about that she can't be expected to fix herself, surrounded by other people on the edge of society, most likely several of whom have been traumatized and are easy prey for her. Maybe she hasn't yet met anyone to top her own self centeredness and viciousness; even if she does in prison meet someone like that, I can imagine her bonding with them, and learning from them. We all might love our freedom - maybe S.B. doesn't.
Thank you. You do amazing work. The compassionate approach to the real victims of Sarah (which includes those of us who have been victims of people like Sarah) is appreciated. I think part of those digs at his daughters is because Sarah wanted desperately that mother daughter relationship she feels she was denied. The problem is... relationships that are healthy and loving take work she would never put in. Jorge's daughters had mothers and would not 'replace' them with Sarah. And Sarah resents that.
Well done & not too long at all.❤️ One lingering question: I can’t believe the judge only charged Sarah $600. A good reason for the life sentence is the strain she put on law enforcement & county courts. If freed, she’d surely continue to waste these public resources. But over the past 5 years, all those legal work hours must’ve run in the millions of dollars and she’s only responsible for $600 - which was waived? Sarah STILL got a deal!
"An edited version," She just COULD NOT let her words be truncated. This statement was a thinly-veiled NPD "Papercut" directed towards James Owens. So, too, was the epithet "scoundrel" she assigned to the detectives because she still has a burr under her saddle about being "tricked" to come in to pick up her phone.
@LisaPeterson227 That's right! I had not considered this, but yes indeed. She called Brian Boone for some leverage. She knew calling 911 would require her to put her control in abeyance. Her desire for TOTAL control is all-encompassing. If she could have gotten Brian to enter onto the killing floor, if he had only stood still long enough for her to spin her web of deceit and obfuscation, she may have convinced him to move the body. After all is said and done, she is still in control even today, RECASTING the immutable facts into "her truth." She has a Messiah complex, and just as she described the broken Japanese pottery being repaired by Gold and God, she, through her contemptuous letters of "forgiveness, " is still in control in her mind. Recasting that pottery in her forgiveness and her fools-gold. A pyrric victory for her. A fascinating display of derision and delusion. She has become so fascinating, so infamous, that her name may ultimately become a neologism, like being "Borked." For example, "Her arguments are so circular that she is talking in Booneisms."
@417Dobro When you find out about this stuff, it just blows your wig back. 😂 This is interesting what I'm going to share. We form who we are going to become as a baby. A mother holding a baby, the baby copy's the mother's expression, feelings. Say the mother looks down at the baby, and never smiles, never interacts with the baby. The baby has the ability to feel it's not loved. The right emotional attachment is not formed. Definitely a martyr complex. With no personal identity, she has to mimick, others thoughts, and actions. She is a body snatcher without a soul. She believes herself to be a god. Only governed by herself. Consequences do not belong on her.
@@LisaPeterson227I am delighted to see someone else describe the source of Sarah's fatal flaws, and how she acquired them. I think Owens described that during her childhood, her mother became pregnant with her brother within around 2 months after her birth. This probably robbed Sarah of the opportunity to properly bond with her mother and kept her from forming emotional attachments. This would help explain her lack of interest in her own child. According to Brian Boone, Sarah didn't pay much attention to Lukas. She continued to go out drinking when he was an infant, she stayed out until all hours, and then she brought people home from the bar after closing - even when Brian had to work in the morning and baby Lukas was trying to sleep. All of this might explain why Sarah doesn't express emotions, her narcissistic traits, and in my opinion (as a retired mental health professional) her diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder, which you describe so well.
Yay! I watched most of what happened in court with the witnesses statements but I did not watch her statement because I wanted to wait and watch it with you all.
To me the other shocking part is where she accused him of sodomy. I don't believe that for a minute. It's disgusting the way that she kept looking at his family. And the way she would pause and close her eyes as if to say 'now how can I word this in a way that your tiny pee brains would understand?' The part where she talked about him always being with her and that they are one soul to me meant that She still owns him even in the afterlife, so disgusting. And she had the nerve to be offended, about anything - when she was supposedly so sorry, says a lot about how she really feels. It was very satisfying to see the judge. Be like 'cool. Are you done? All right, You're going to die in jail and I'm going to lunch. Tata.'
I have watched so much analysis on this, it is fascinating. One comment on a different channel mentioned she seemed to look around as if expecting a standing ovation
I don’t want to imagine Sarah chasing after Jorge at the gates of heaven to endlessly -nag- apologize to him. RIP Jorge, and be free, we know you are not a monster❤
This was a very interesting analysis. Re the 'stab wound' I'm inclined to believe the story that she fell over drunk and cut herself for a couple of reasons. One is it is unlikely a man (even a small man) is going to stab anyone in the leg unless she was coming at him in a scissor jump or something. It's way to low down. The other reason is that when they showed the scar at some point it was a nice neat horizontal line. I did notice that stories about it have become more and more lurid with each telling though. But, regardless, thanks for your work, it was very interesting to listen to.
"Almost bled to death" is almost surely a vast exaggeration. If she were on the point of bleeding to death, there'd be SO much evidence all over the place, the neighbors would definitely know about it, and the police would be much more involved.
Thank you Chris for your great insight again, SB is of a depraved mind. To be offended by Jorges daughter (or sisters) comment in her victim impact statement about a moment was disgraceful. She certainly didnt flinch when she was showing Det, Jay how she zipped up the case. A normal person wouldn't have been able to touch it I'm sure.
I used to get so upset by Sarah and what an uppity monster she is. But since she's been convicted, while still disgusted by what she did to poor Jorge, I feel nothing but amused by her nonsense. However, what does bother me about her statement is that she wanted to plant herself in the Torres family's minds when they think of Jorge. Sarah wanted to steal even Jorge's memory from them. None of this statement was to apologize. It was Sarah's way of victimizing the family one more time.
I think that Sarah singles out the daughters as being separate from "the family". Also, I sense that she was extremely jealous of Jorge having contact with his daughters and the daughters showing love for him as she had no family in her life who cared about her. The only people she had were Brian and their son Lucas, who, I am sure, are so pleased now that they can start a new life, without her manipulation of them.
I think when she started to blame the Torres family, she was being resentful because she thought that they ruined her trial with that emotional outburst. And she was trying to get back at them for that.
36:16 Thank you for bringing out this point specifically. This was such an obvious contradiction “ still no one knows me” and a few minutes later saying to the family “you know me” What ?! Did she forget she just said the opposite? It was so blatantly obvious that both can’t be true ! And yet, Sarah just carries on as if each sentence stands alone.
I must admit that I see some of myself in Sarah. I have struggled with addiction issues, to put it lightly. It seems common, in my self and fellow recovered, that anger and resentment are almost ubiquitous. Resentment 'ends' more alkies than anything. And a big, important step in recovery is putting aside the wrongs of others (real and imagined) and asking, "where was I at fault?" "Keep your own side of the street clean." I also can relate to coming to from a blackout and being told that I did some bad stuff that I have zero memory of. It is easy to feel as though, since I don't remember it, it didn't happen. And the only reason I did not end up getting in real trouble? Undeserved mercy from above. "There, but for the Grace, go I."
Best cases for Sunshine laws. To use felons as an example, a hope for self awareness in others and a willingness to correct course. Anger issues have had me using her recorded words in the past "I don't love you. I don't even like you. " Medicated and building healthy relationships but bruh ... I fukn sounded like her ugh
Well SB can't have it both ways. She can't have not gotten drunk, from a glass or two of wine; then claim it was the wine that made her forget. She can't have not touched him(swaring on her sons name), but then beat the blank out of him when he tried to free himself from death in the suit case( when Owens decided to use batter spouse as a defense). Then she can't have specific memories of the whole day, but forget the actual incident or that she recorded it; which suggests the narrative she tells of the whole day can't be reliable.
Absolutely brilliant analysis of Sarah's sentencing performance. Definitely the most insightful and thorough examination that I've seen. I was not surprised that you managed to identify and illuminate elements that everyone else missed. You were able to reveal the sinister purpose and meaning which she had hidden in plain sight. I was thinking that when Sarah wrote "Words cannot define my shame" she did not misspeak. This was meant literally because she felt no shame at all. It was ambiguous sounding enough that her subconscious allowed it in to her psychotic manifesto. Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Sarah thought she was clever and sophisticated in couching her vicious attack on everyone in an "apology and forgiveness." She does not raise her voice or use an angry tone. "Look what you lot have done to me. I will describe the suffering that no one rescued me from. It's all your fault I am here." However, she really can not hide her rage. She has convinced herself that she is the victim. The words she uses, as you have pinpointed, are full of venom. Her claiming Jorge for eternity, made me call out...oh poor Jorge!
How to Say I'm Sorry, by my 6-year-old son: "If you hit someone and they say I'm going to tell, you say I'm sorry. If they say I'm still going to tell on you, you say, better not or I'll hit you again". He was only 6. What's Sarah's excuse? 😉
When she mentioned being hospitalized, I shouted at my screen, "So, where are the hospital records?" She is such a reprehensible person. She can't sat anything to me, a survivor of SA. I knew she was lying from the get go. Thanks Chris for another spot on analysis.
Thank you for breaking down and explaining the part about jorges daughters. It struck me as odd when she was doing that in court but I couldn't understand why, you hit the nail on the head! It all makes sense now.
Sarah met Jorge through her alcoholism. Brian, the ex husband, said that she had a drinking problem that got worse and worse and ultimately was the main reason for their divorce, she can't blame Jorge on that one. Well, she can blame him, but it's easily disproven.
Thank you, Chris. I was eagerly waiting what your analysis with Sarah's sentencing speech would be. That sanctimonious attitude killed Jorge and also gave his murderer a life sentence.
Glad to see this video appear, thank you for your effort and insight! At 30:33, her description of her acts is not only unspecific but also completely passive. In her words, it's not something she did to Jorge, it's just something that happened to him.
She speaks and writes in an elliptic fashion, leaving out pronouns, articles, clauses and prepositions. This reflects how her thinking works in terms of deflection and avoidance of the links between things or the greater picture. She cannot hide the person she is, perhaps none of us can?
You have described in detail practically every single reason I believe nothing she accused Jorge of. None of it. Her own videos of Jorge only revealed to me his being fully submissive to her, or trying to be, because he'd experienced the consequences of not doing so. There are not enough words in a Thesaurus to describe how utterly sickening she is.
Awesome and fascinating breakdown. As well as the mention of the daughters, the absence of mentioning Jorges son!!!. I think I've heard he is disabled so i wonder whether sarah is Othering him for this reason. But also whether its telling that she doesnt perceive the son has been affected if he won't appreciate/notice/articulate the loss of his father in the same way as she would (otherwise known as a lack of being able to empathise)
Thank you for helping relieve the shock of Sarah's statement . I plan to watch again, there seem's a great deal to understand. I agree, Sarah needs to be in prison for life.
I really had a difficult time watching her statement, so I appreciate the work you put into this video. It truly shows how depraved and narcissistic she is.
The things she didn't say ... She never once mentioned her son, the impact this has had on him, her desire to be back with him, or any alternative to that phrasing/language. I find that says more than her entire speech.
It's 2am where I'm catching this. Well worth staying up for. Sarah typifies that surface area shouldn't be confused for depth. At the end of your 4th section is "it's Jorge's fault he's dead." I had kinda that same idea when a while back she said something about not wanting her son to come over because of the "inappropriate" things Jorge would do. I guess in this case, being dead was the inappropriate thing. And concerning other parts overall, It did come off to me like a lot of the parole hearings where they've found gawd and she even offered a kidney.
The Minnesota woman who came in by phone spoke much the same verbiage as Jorge was coached to say in the hostage style video preparing to argue getting her felony strangulation charge dropped. I cannot remember now if she managed to choke out "she's an angel", but was all-in on the Saint Sarah vibe.
Jorge didn't seem to have a phone at some point, it was why he didn't have any contact numbers for anyone. When sarah called the cops to arrest him for breaching the no contact order and they were taking him away, he needed her to call his family and let them know. I wonder if she took a hammer to his phone? I'm just speculating there though. A few people think the 'soft spoken' was meant to be an instruction to herself rather than to be read out. I will miss the letters, but at the same time, I will be glad to forget about this awful woman.
Thank you for this!!! Yes i noticed how she singled out Jorge’s daughters. I thought it may be jealousy. She was not the centre of Jorges’ world. His daughters were there too!!!
Good heaven's you did a terrific job! You pulled so much out of that seemingly straightforward, hateful, mess. I did not think I could sit through another second more about her statement, but i was glued to your video. TY 🌻💜
As a DV survivor myself, I don't want her representing me ever. She is an abuser turned murderer. She is not the victim.
Survivors recognize other survivors🙏 She isn’t one.
What I don't get is that some people watched her tell the jury that she lies under oath for personal gain, and still assume that she's telling the truth.
humanity knows better than to take her seriously ok she is just one of those few who abuse laws made for those in need . There are always a few right
If Jorge is a monster, and Sarah and Jorge are the same soul split into two bodies, Sarah is a monster.
🎯
I was thinking more of a horcrux.
In one of her letters to the judge she said everyone who points a finger at her making accusations there are 3 fingers pointing back. Those words are constantly b*tch slapping her....making her snot boil.
Great point! I guess this is the danger of mixing metaphors, Sarah...
She talked her way right into a life sentence!
She certainly didn't come close to talking her way out of it. Her assignment was to feign remorse; she failed miserably.
Absolutely! Sarah situation was completely of her own making and nobody else is at fault but Sarah! 💯
IMO :: The judge had decided to sentence her to 30 years until he heard that recitation. She deserves every day of her life sentence.
The words of Mrs.Torres "she will never experience raising her son ,I have his children."
Angered her more than the LWOP.
Sarah will never acknowledge her self-imposed road to destruction.
Likewise Sarah will never have the ability to also raise her own son. Thank goodness he has a chance to grow up into a good and decent man without Sarah’s involvement
Wow, good on Mrs Torres. Although, imho, Sarah did Brian and her son a favor by removing herself from their lives.
This makes a lot of sense to me! Sarah was controlling of him in a way that's even ill-advised for actual parents.
@@GuiltyWords he could not have a phone so not even call her to say he was ready to be picked up. She would rather wait than give up phone control.

Sarah sees herself as the ONLY victim here, that's why there's no evidence of brokenness or humble contrition in her hollow apology.
Fantastic, Chris. Thank you 🇦🇺
Meanwhile, the evidence that she provided points to her not being a victim at all.
Agreed! She has no capacity to admit wrongdoing or even consider she may have done something wrong.
Hahaha so true
juliaatkinson4012: YES!! And especially about the endless number of adjectives she used!!
right . have thought the same damn thing. she does complain here and there about access to enough pens and paper . I suspect that was how the recipients of her keys found at leats some relief. No sarah. we are not giving you unlimited paper . lol
She has thesaurus abuse syndrome as well. She cannot help herself.
@ too bad they didn't buy her a dictionary .
Regarding her "stab wound" I read that it was the result of a drunken fall where she landed on the glass she'd broken while having drinks on her back porch.
Where'd you see that? Wouldn't surprise me.
@@JM-ot8ux IIRC it was in the police interview (as heresay) of either the property manager or one of the neighbours (Brandon/Vincent). At least it was mentioned by someone in those early police interviews.
Same here!! That’s what she told the apartment manager!!!!!
Sounds way more plausible than her story. I wish that could have been addressed in trial since she uses the stabbing story as proof of Jorge being a dangerous abuser😢
That gives Sherri Papini vibes, when she hit herself with a Wii controller (in front of witnesses) then blamed that bruise on her husband 🤦♀️
You know the 2 detectives wear the words “scoundrel detectives” as badge of honor
She sounds like a Scoobie Doo villain, “And I would have gotten away with it too! If it wasn’t for you scoundrel detectives!”

When the the defendant hates the detectives and prosecutors. They did a good job. This isn’t a tea party, Sarah!
This case has affected me enormously! I think I was in shock after her sentencing tirade! I could not comprehend how she could say these things?!?!
Thank you for putting a perspective on her words and helping me to close the Sarah Boone ten/ten/seven/seven saga. May the Torres family find peace.
I fukin hate how she says that,
ten ten seven seven,
absolutely HATE it!
I felt the same way! It absolutely floored me that she'd say all of those things and think they were acceptable. Goodness gracious.

Thank you so much! I agree on all counts. Sarah was condescending, nasty, and vindictive. I'm glad she's being seen for what she truly is.

Remember, They cleaned, played a game and painted( IMPO all made up and set up prior to her answering BB's calls. I still think she wanted to put the blame on BB, but he stepped into the foyer and refused to go in further or to join her for a cigerette or drink on the back porch prior to her calling 911.

Sarah should be in a psychology textbook. Her need to be arrogant and show herself as superior and in control is greater than her survival instinct. It'll be rare to catch such examples 'in real life' or loose in the wild. And here it all is.

That is extremely … extreme. It’s beyond my comprehension.
Really wild!
I'm 'morbidly' fascinated by Canadian mukbanger Foodie Beauty who exhibits similar personality traits.

Yes, she has a keen eye for the vulnerable and poorly educated.
From her entire witness list, Owens could only find one that wouldn't torpedo her case. And that person didn't actually witness anything.
@@doom4067 Is that the witness that was manipulated by kidney-donating Sarah?
@@ndgrandma2124 I think that woman was running her own Fame Game. Consider this: if she made her sorrowful "I'm dying" case to the world she might benefit financially. Or maybe not, but hey, Sarah took the bait, why not exploit the relationship? No downside. She gets her pikchur on the teevee, that's GOLD.
Emily D Baker believes the words “my soft spoken conclusion” were not meant to have been read out loud, it was probably a note to herself.
SB, in one of her letters to the judge, stated she at times "calmly" or "softly asked" Brian for money/ Basically what she was doing was begging and harassing Brian just as she has done to everyone.
@@ndgrandma2124 You can have a soft calm voice and still be a vicious shrike.
@@JM-ot8ux I do it sometimes. Lol You are 100% right.
Ha! I can totally see that. 🥴
Totally agree!!!
Imagine poor Jorge wakes up, after the untold hours of positional asphyxiation...finally, his torment is over, and he wakes in heaven...... and Sarah's there , waiting for him....😬
...so she can _"love him endlessly, and....in all of it and still."_ [sic]. 😱 ( 23:01 ).
Hilarious!
I don't think she gets the elevator up. 🤔
We do know. Sarah's so-called 'stab wound' happened when Sarah drunkenly crashed into a glass table on her back porch. Her property manager can verify this.
I felt absolutely sure there was another explanation for that injury. I never believed for a moment that Jorge stabbed her there. Absurd.
Her explanation that she presented him with a steak dinner and he got angry then tried to force himself on her then stabbed her when she tried to get off the bed didn’t make any sense. Her stories always have contradictory statements in them.
Yeah, her lying, saying that J said
"I just wanna F you on the potatoes"
has to be one of the insane lies that she could come up with.
She is DISGUSTING.
she also refers to it as an "obscure, unfortunate incident'
Thank you for this excellent video. The graphics were excellent too. Makes it very easy to watch. I was troubled by her sentencing speech and you've explained why!!
The ex-wife and daughter did an interview and said he was a womanizer but not abusive.
And that is far more believable than anything Sarah accused him of. I simply don't believe her AT ALL.
Jorge liked variety.
I’m glad you noticed that she said “drawing people closer to HER” and not to the Lord. I thought that was very telling on how she’s using religion to draw people to her and make herself the focus. I also think she thrives in prison so she can feed her ego and feel
Superior
I hadn’t caught that when I listened to her statement originally or in the few other times I watched it on other channels. Good catch!
I noticed that, too! She said this while explaining how Jorge's death was meaningful because it brought her back to God.
Thank you, you’re very good at what you do. Excellent graphics. New subscriber here.
Welcome! You’ve found an excellent community.
Like she was "forced" to be her own lawyer.
How can she be so furious and incredulous at everyone on the planet that we don't believe her, when she herself knows she spews nothing but lies?!
It’s insane. AND she videotaped the death as well as many instances of her emotional and verbal abuse.
@@LaurenRussellElizabethshe even taped herself waking him up yelling at him then hits him in the head then it turns off. She is a vile person
When she knowingly lies, it's always excusable because she was A Victim Of Domestic Violence. And she can't remember lots of stuff, so she gives herself 100 percent benefit of the doubt in every case. "I don't remember, but I know I did nothing wrong."
She thinks that everyone in the world is stupid enough to believe her.
Some people are.
She’s a liar through and through-she’s clearly the abuser and trying to blame her victim(s) -
Any and all words she writes/speaks are all wrong, lies and manipulation to try and hurt others-
12-2-24 was “A GOOD DAY” ❤❤❤❤ bye, bye Sarah 😅😂 enjoy your new forever home
Oh Chris... this analysis was brilliantly done.
Im surprised at how Sarah being Sarah, wasnt shoved in prision before.
Great video, thanks!
Your excellent explanation helps me understand Sarah better, thank you!
It was the first time I heard someone forgive their victims. Also, her lawyer must have warned her that what she wrote down was not an apology and would be to her detriment. She still did it. She is delusional.
Some claim that before the hearing he told her "You need to show some effing remorse."
@@doom4067Remorse? Sarah knows nothing about it.
She believes she got arrested because she called 911, so there is that. The door knob will never understand what she did wrong.
And the way she would pause and close her eyes as if to say 'now how can I word this in a way that your tiny pee brains would understand?'
The part where she talked about him always being with her and that they are one soul to me meant that She still owns him even in the afterlife, so disgusting. And she had the nerve to be offended, about anything - when she was supposedly so sorry, says a lot about how she really feels.
It was very satisfying to see the judge. Be like 'cool. Are you done? All right, You're going to die in jail and I'm going to lunch. Tata.'
She is sooo intelligent!
So much so, that she had to ask Judge Kraynick what objection, sustained & overruled meant!!!
I have watched so much analysis on this, it is fascinating. One comment on a different channel mentioned she seemed to look around as if expecting a standing ovation
I don’t doubt it.
I think she also read out of that book Owens gave her to brush up with before her trial. she now wants to control him in the afterlife!
I don’t want to imagine Sarah chasing after Jorge at the gates of heaven to endlessly -nag- apologize to him. RIP Jorge, and be free, we know you are not a monster❤
She believes she's going to heaven? 😂
I love the visuals you put with your analysis! 👏 great work. I’m glad I found your channel.
Ohhhhhhhhh yes. This is the video I have been awaiting, of all of my subscriptions. *rubs hands together*
Spot on comment!👏
💯
The Torres family left when she took the stand.
"And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me."
One other thing that lept out to e that she left out of her statement was Jorge's son!
And a big, important step in recovery is putting aside the wrongs of others (real and imagined) and asking, "where was I at fault?" "Keep your own side of the street clean."
I also can relate to coming to from a blackout and being told that I did some bad stuff that I have zero memory of.
Yes, when I heard “Words cannot describe,” I thought “Seriously?!?”
She lied from the start to the very end and now she's going for a re-trial.
Go away Sarah, we all hate you.
Love your coverage. your absolutely right about your analysis of sarah statements thank you for breaking it down it was done beautifully..
Saint Sarah forgot to mention that she ":intentionally" struck Jorge on his bike with her vehicle. That she "intentionally" lied to Jorge's brother.
More people need to know about this.
her lawyer left in “for not fighting back sooner” = wow
Too bad Sarah couldn’t see this. Well done
Sanctimonious is a perfect word to describe her. PERFECT!!
sarah isnt just delusional & evil, she is also profoundly strange
I ave even waiting for you to post this! Thank you!
Glad to see this video appear, thank you for your effort and insight! At 30:33, her description of her acts is not only unspecific but also completely passive. In her words, it's not something she did to Jorge, it's just something that happened to him.
been waiting for your analysis!!!
She speaks and writes in an elliptic fashion, leaving out pronouns, articles, clauses and prepositions. This reflects how her thinking works in terms of deflection and avoidance of the links between things or the greater picture. She cannot hide the person she is, perhaps none of us can?
I enjoy your videos - Thanks!
Thanks for a great breakdown!
She’s truly a monster.

Loved the "Chewed Bubble Gum" Analogy Chris 😆👏🏼 Spot On 👏🏼❤️ 🎄🙋🏼
Thank you for articulating the things that I felt but could not put into words!
Exactly! Minimizing the child because he is special needs, and doesn’t count? Special needs children most definitely understand more then we know!
Thank you for helping relieve the shock of Sarah's statement . I plan to watch again, there seem's a great deal to understand. I agree, Sarah needs to be in prison for life.
Her 'Hyperbolic Forgiveness' comments are clearly her being sarcastic.
The feeling this apology gives off is 'only fools would believe I'm sorry'
Oh yeah, you can see Sarah's grasping hands all over THAT farrago of swill.
Her unedited statement is out now, and i really wish owens had not edited it!
That wouldn't surprise me at all. Burner phones aren't that expensive, like $30. I bet she found a burner phone of Jorge's and just destroyed it.
Thank you for this!!!
Yes i noticed how she singled out Jorge’s daughters. I thought it may be jealousy. She was not the centre of Jorges’ world. His daughters were there too!!!
this woman was something else. she forgave HIM for her murdering him. wow how gracious of her.
It absolutely boggles the imagination, really.
Good heaven's you did a terrific job! You pulled so much out of that seemingly straightforward, hateful, mess. I did not think I could sit through another second more about her statement, but i was glued to your video. TY
