    i like FFB but how many of us acutally use 21nm? when i raced bikes i'd get max 4nm depending never raced cars but seems werid having a ton for FFB to break people wrist lol Love your reviews mate :D much love from New Zealand

    Hey Mike, does your bezel kit works properly on AMS 1? I can’t for the life of me to get it aligned properly with this title due to no triple screen setup in game, only in nvidea control panel.

    • @SimRacing604
      @SimRacing604  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Interesting question. It works for me as far as I’m aware. You’re correct that AMS1 doesn’t have triple support, but I’d think that as long as the monitors are spaced tightly together and we’ll-aligned vertically, the bezel kit should work. I’ll have another look, but I didn’t notice anything wrong

    Are you planning to upload in 1440p? I think it would look better on 4K TV and 1440 monitors these days...IMO, it would be worth it.

    But I have one complain. I you found good FFB settings in Pit House, why not share thew with us on the video?

    • @SimRacing604
      @SimRacing604  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks very much! I’m happy to share the settings, but most people who watch reviews don’t own the product, so a showcase of my settings doesn’t belong in a review video IMO

    • @Jarek_iRek
      @Jarek_iRek ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SimRacing604 That is true. But that is what I like in Sim Racing Garage reviews. Barry shows what settings he landed with. 🙂
      I think this could be great on TH-cam Shorts if you do not want to include things like that in reviews. One minute of " I have set my base, pedals, shifter, display like that and it feels great". 🙂

    The R21 has been out for over a year. Is this a new version or the same version as before? Also, I don't see their custom wraps on the website. That seems like a cool idea. Where did you find those pictures?

    • @SimRacing604
      @SimRacing604  ปีที่แล้ว

      That was on their Twitter. And yeah, this is a slightly updated version; mostly V2 because of the price, but also there are some minor cosmetic upgrades

      @SimRacing604  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hello. I don’t think it is worth upgrading from the R16 to R21 at this time. But there is something coming from Moza very soon that would be worth upgrading to from the R16 V1.

    I think the R16 would be more then enough for me. It has the same resolution as the R21 and I don't think that I would ever need the extra 5 nm. Did they ever mention if they will support the PS5 in the future?

    • @SimRacing604
      @SimRacing604  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching. And yeah, I’m inclined to say that the R16 is more than enough torque for most people. And as far as PS support, I haven’t heard. Honestly it’s my biggest gripe with MOZA. I think they’re crushing it as far as quality and relative value and product output, but the absence of console support is holding back their growth.

      @@SimRacing604I"m looking to upgrade to DD this year and I'm tempted to get a PS5 for GT7 on PSVR2 (I'm looking for a more casual Simcade in VR and PCVR doesn't have anything like that). Apparently the Brook Ras1ution 2 will make any wheel work with the PS5 but I don't know how well it would work and I'm not sure I want to use a device like that on a high end wheel. I guess that Fanatec is the only DD wheel with PS5 support right now. Thanks for the reply.

    Everyone should remember to set up their wheel-base for each game. Never try to use one wheel base configuration for all sims, you will be missing a lot. The latest generation of sims and wheel-bases are synergistic.
    What impresses me is just how well AMS1 FFB has aged compared to rf2. rf2 blends fast and slow effects with equal strength - totally wrong on any DD.

    Hey Mike, do you notice a big difference between the R16 and this R21? Or would you say the extra $$ spent on getting the R21 over the R16 is not really worth it? Thanks and great review!

      @SimRacing604  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the kind words, Jim. And I haven’t tried the R16, unfortunately. My suspicion is that the difference would be minor, but noticeable if you’re picky about FFB detail

    All my filters are turned off in Pithouse - Wheel Damper, Wheel Spring Strength, Wheel Friction and Speed Damping are all turned off. I've experimented with them [On] for a few weeks and [Off] for a few weeks. I recommend playing a few days/weeks without filters to me it's definitely a 10/10 experience. With filters it feels very "Computerized" if that's even a real word and def 7/10 experience. I'd rather let the game send all that data Raw as possible to the pithouse/wheelbase.

      That’s a fair position. If you’re not in a rush to get gear, then see how things play out over the coming months and years. Speaking only to my experience, the products have been fantastic. Firmware updates notwithstanding, the quality and performance of the hardware and supporting software have been excellent
